Elsewords Story Part 2: To Hell and Back... Again.
       Prologue:
       Prologue Theme: Mysterious Person (

       )
Hello there. It's me, Kindron Darkfire, again. If you don't
remember which one I am, I was the one who rescued his
girlfriend who got trapped in Hell.
Just a quick recap for those that still don't know who I am...
I was a former son of Hades from another universe, but I was
reincarnated into this one after my death. I was born in this
one as the son of Hades, the Demon God of the Dead (or sometimes
also called the Demon God of Death). I ruled hell for years when
I beat another demon king, and then was exiled to the living
world after failing to bring peace between angels and demons,
never allowed to return to Hell. And around the time I was
exiled, Sariel closed down Heaven and shut the doors, locking
everyone out who wasn't already in there. There are a lot of
angels who are stuck on earth, and the souls bound for Heaven
can't even get it. I thought that it was to protect herself from
a demon attack, but turns out I may have been wrong.
Anyway, my girlfriend, Mika Watson, has been slowly recovering
from her experience in Hell. However, it's not easy. She's
suffering trauma on a level most of humanity will never
understand unless they experience it themselves.
Mika still hasn't fully gotten used to being back. I can see it
in her eyes sometimes. I think she expects to just wake up in
Hell one day and end up back in that cell she was in. And she
still can barely handle being around me since the demon who
tortured her used my face by reading her memories (Because Hell
uses everything they can to torture people, including memories).
So she can't even look at me without remembering her torture.
But Mika has slowly been trying to get back to some form of
normal. She forces herself, but she is slowly making progress,
which is honestly impressive because most people would be a
drooling mess coming back. But Mika pretty much immediately
threw herself into work and refuses to stop because she feels
that focusing on work will help her get back to her normal life.
But anyway, she and I have been investigating Heaven. I've been
trying to find a way in, or find a way to at least find out
what's going on in there. Now, keep in mind that this was before
I found out that Cordath the Dark, an ancient evil, had appeared
in Heaven and had taken over. But anyway, I've been trying to
figure out what to do, and how I can help.
Thankfully, Death and Toranoraos have taken the souls bound for
Heaven to the Hall of Souls in the meantime so that they can be
protected from turning into hollows or vengeful spirits. So they
are at least handling things temporarily until we can figure out
how to get into Heaven. The archangel Michael is on earth, so
he's helping head a group in the church to fight against groups
       like demons.
Mika, myself, Goten, Nightbane and Kristiel have been continuing
our work as specter hunters, investigating strange spiritual
phenomena and taking out dangerous specters.
Today was what was supposed to be a standard mission, but
quickly went south. And I won't lie, there was a point where I
       was going to die...
But you'll just have to read this story for yourself to find out
       what happened...
       Main Story:
       - The Hospital Theme: Lurking (
  HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLXtkxU69B0
       )
Today, Mika, Goten, Nightbane, Kristiel and myself were
investigating a hospital. Strange circumstances had been
happening in one of the surgical waiting rooms.
On the surface, nothing looked wrong. But for some reason, there
were strange things here. Normally, it wouldn't be weird. For
example, the soda machines eating people's money without giving
a soda. What was strange was something like the arcade machine
that was in the room that no one put in with no label on what
the game was (the machine didn't even seem to be powered on).
And there was a stand that had drawers that had almost nothing
in them. The stand should have had magazines or information
about the hospital, but there were only a few trinkets. What was
strange was that there was a high value gold coin sitting on the
stand like someone had thrown it away. This wasn't some gold
dollar, but a foreign gold coin worth thousands of dollars to
       collectors.
When we got there, we saw a kid who had been upset they didn't
get their drink. Kristiel stepped in and took the mother and kid
to another machine, and offered to pay to get them a drink.
While they were gone, we were investigating the waiting room. It
was strange, there were more vending machines that there should
be here, and then there's the arcade machine. On top of that, it
seems the desk had a donation jar for charity where people could
put coins into, but it was empty. And when Mika put a coin into
       it, the coin disappeared.
But even though things were weird, there weren't any specters in
the room that we could find. Of course, we couldn't rule out
that the whole room was a possible specter. Sure, things felt
off, but it didn't feel like there was anything in the room that
       wasn't supposed to be there...
At least, that's what we thought until Nightbane and Goten tried
       the arcade machine...
They saw that it was two players, and they were gonna give it a
try. Nightbane enjoys games, and he's tried to get Goten into
       games as well.
They tried to turn on the machine, but it wouldn't turn on.
Nightbane then put a coin into it, thinking that maybe it was on
and just in a sleep mode or something (which shouldn't be the
case, but we were sure this wasn't your standard arcade
       machine).
And when Nightbane put the coin in, that's when it happened...
       - The Arcade Machine Activates Theme: Despair (
  HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hw1_koBv2AI
       )
The screen didn't flicker on, but instead a gate appeared on the
screen and sucked Goten and Nightbane into it before I could try
       to pull them back.
The instant the gate appeared on the blank screen, I knew
exactly what it was... It was a Hell's Gate. But not like any
       I'd ever seen.
As the air was being sucked into the gate, I was trying to brace
       myself.
Me: I don't understand! What is a Hell Gate doing here?! I said,
trying to make sense of things.
Upon hearing Hell Gate, Mika's face went pale and she went into
       full on PTSD mode.
Mika: NO! I CAN'T GO BACK! I CAN'T GO BACK! She screamed in fear
as she ran into the corner.
After a moment, the Hell Gate vanished. Once it was gone, I ran
over to Mika. She was curled up in the corner crying, just
saying to herself "I can't go back" over and over. Like I said,
she went into Full PTSD mode.
I went over to her and put my hand on her shoulder. She was so
scared even me being close to her didn't bother her right now.
Me: Mika... You don't have to go with me. I'll go and get Goten
and Nightbane. But I need you to do something for me. I said to
her softly. She looked up to me with scared eyes. It took her a
moment to process what I had just said. But once she realized I
was going to ask her to do something, she seemed to be willing
       to try and help me.
Me: Go to the Distorted Azurite facility. And call a team to
equip themselves with those suits the facility were developing.
If I'm not back within 8 hours, you need to send a team in there
equipped with those suits and demon killer weapons, and save
Nightbane and Goten. If they die there, they'll be stuck there
forever. I'll go down there and try to rescue them, or at least
buy time so a team can pull them out. But they need to know what
they're going into. If they go, they will be stuck if they die
down there too. I said to her. My plan? Have the team equip
themselves with the suits that Nightbane used the last time we
went to Hell, and they could hopefully bruteforce their way
through and get Nightbane and Goten out if they had the right
weapons. But it would take demon killer weapons to even have a
chance. And anyone who died down there would be stuck there.
She looks at me for a moment.
I then grab my wallet and the coins in my pocket and hand them
       to her.
Me: Take these. If I get stuck down there, you'll want to hold
on to these for me. I said to her.
She took my wallet to hold on to for me, but she put the coins
back in my hand, adding the coins from her pocket into my hand.
Mika: I don't know if I'm right, but I feel like the coins are
important. Take them with you. She said to me. I guess she
noticed what I had about how everything seemed to be interested
       in coins here.
I nod. Me: Alright. Go. Time moves slower in Hell than here. So
you will have time. This time, I can plan the time properly. 8
hours... That's about how long you have to set up a team. You
don't have to go. Just make sure they're equipped properly so
they don't die down there too. I said to her.
Mika got up, shaking in fear. She holds on to my wallet like it
was some kind of protective charm and walks out of the room.
I assumed she was going to get Kristiel.
Once she was gone, I took a moment to gather my thoughts. I knew
       what going back might mean...
I didn't tell Mika, but I had a feeling there was a good chance
I wouldn't make it back this time.
And then I did something I never usually do...
I prayed to God. Yeah, I know. A demon praying to God is not
something you were probably expecting to hear. But I was
       desperate.
Me: Please God... If you don't answer any of my prayers, at
least answer this one. Please don't let Goten and Nightbane die
down there. I don't care if I die, but please at least help them
make it back safely. They don't deserve to be in Hell. I prayed.
This was the first time in a long time I was truly afraid.
That was when something I didn't expect happened...
       Dream Mika appeared behind me.
       - Dream Mika Theme: Subete ga Owatta (
  HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ayfi5ezwISM
       )
I didn't know she could appear in the real world. Let alone know
she was watching me as I prayed.
She'd been appearing in my dreams even though I feel like her
job to help me save Mika should be done. But this was the first
time she'd appeared in the real world.
       I turned to her.
Me: Um... Hi? I said to her, not sure what to say.
She responded by taking a necklace with a cross on it and
       handing it to me.
Dream Mika: I am here to help you. She says as she hands me the
necklace. God has heard your prayer, and asked me to make this
       and deliver it to you.
I take the necklace and put it on immediately. It hurt a bit
given it definitely was a holy item. Dream Mika saw me wince.
Dream Mika: I know it's uncomfortable, but this will protect you
long enough to go to Hell and retrieve Goten and Nightbane. I
took the necklace and dipped it in holy water to help give it
       more strength.
       I stopped.
Kindron: Wait... So holy items can protect me from Hell's
environment? I said as I go into one of the drawers on the
stand. I remember seeing a cross bracelet in one of the drawers.
When I take it out, I put it on my wrist. It wasn't like a
bottle of holy water, but the cross symbol was a holy symbol
that had power to it. It's not much, but every little bit helps.
I said as I went over to the arcade machine.
Dream Mika then took out a black cloak, walked over, and handed
       it to me.
Dream Mika: This cloak will prove useful to you as well. It will
hide who you truly are to the demons, but your friends will
still recognize you. It also protects you from the effects of
       hellfire.
I nod. I didn't need to get recognized while I was down there by
the demons. The idea was just to find Nightbane and Goten and
leave. Hopefully without being attacked. But we know nothing
       ever goes according to plan.
Dream Mika vanishes, and I get ready. I put a coin in, and then
the Hell Gate appears again and opens up. I let myself get
       sucked in.
And when the Hell Gate drew me in, I appeared in Hell...
Standing on the solid heated rock.
       - Hell Theme: Frozen Souls (
  HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cI0pvnG3Yk
       )
And there I was... In Hell, for the second time since my exile.
It was weird though. I could see the environment, but things
looked... weird. This area looked like black rock and the cave
still had the same heat and smells. Things should have been
normal, but the architecture of this area didn't match anything
I was familiar with in Hell. Not only that, but there were no
tortured souls anywhere, or any demons. It was just barren land
except for the center of the area.
I flew up using my demon wings. Thankfully, the cross necklace
was doing its job and I barely felt the environment burning my
       lungs like before.
The center of this area seemed to be something important because
I could see giant walls. There was what looked like a kingdom
being built. It was like a medieval town with a castle at the
center that was half constructed. I could see above the wall and
it looked like there were demons and damned souls there. I
couldn't get a good look. Plus, this seemed to be the only
section of this part of Hell. The rest of Hell seemed to be cut
off from this part. Yeah, there are different sections of Hell
depending on your sins. So it wasn't new to me that there could
be a different section of hell from where I ended up last time.
But then something weird happened. I couldn't fly as I got
closer. I started to sink to the ground. The only conclusion I
could come up with was that this "kingdom" must have had
something that prevents people from flying. Probably to keep
people from escaping it if they had flight abilities in life?
I walk up to the gate. There were two giant green ogre looking
demons. They towered over me. I wasn't afraid of them, but they
were pretty big and that meant they were probably pretty strong.
I could tell they were not your average level demons.
The demons stood in front of a large gate. I started to debate
if I could fight my way in. But that would draw unwanted
attention. I assume since Dream Mika gave me something to
disguise my presence, it was meant to tell me that I should try
sneaking in rather than blasting my way in.
The ogres look down at me and hold what looked like spiked
clubs. The clubs were bloody, like they had been used to
splatter people. They were probably torturing damned souls when
       they weren't at the gates.
Ogre 1: You want in? You have to pay. You want out? You have to
pay. So pay up, little man. He says to me.
Me: Fine. What is your currency here?
Ogre 2: Coins. Give us your coins. He says confidently.
So coins were important here... Makes sense. I take out my
coins. I give them the high value coin first. It was a solid
gold coin, so I was pretty sure it was worth the most in my
       group of coins.
Me: How's this? I ask as I show it to them.
The ogres look at it for a moment, examining it. They then shake
       their heads.
Ogre 1: That coin ain't worth nothing here, little man. He says.
The second ogre carefully uses his fingers to take some coins
from my other hand. He took a few quarters and dimes from my
       hand.
Ogre 2: These should be enough. You're in. He says as he opens
       the giant door for me.
I walk into the... village? Kingdom? I didn't know what to call
       it.
But as I walked in, the demons closed the gate behind me. I do
remember them saying I'd have to pay to get out. Thankfully,
they didn't take all my coins. Though it was strange all the
souls and demons were here. I could see a bunch of them as I
       walked in.
Once I got in, I walk around, putting my coins in my pocket.
What I saw here horrified me...
The demons weren't really torturing people, except for the ones
       who weren't doing anything.
Instead, the people were working. I saw some demons paying coins
to people who were working, and some demons were overseeing the
       work being done.
But that wasn't what shocked me... What shocked me was that
these people were pushing themselves past their physical limits.
I saw people with broken limbs still walking as they were
carrying stuff. I saw people with intestines and organs that had
fallen out that were trying to continue working past the pain. I
saw one guy who was pushing a large stone, and his arm had
broken enough you could see the bone. He wasn't just pushing it
with his good arm, he was also pushing it with his broken arm,
pushing his elbow against the stone. These people were pushing
themselves beyond mortal limits in order to do their jobs. Those
that did nothing were being whipped and ripped apart until they
       worked like the others.
These people were working on the village, building and moving
stuff around. And they were so frail and weak. They were
completely broken. Both physically and mentally. But they were
still being forced to work... Talk about any job badly you want
about how they take advantage of you or push you too hard, no
bad job ever compared to what I was seeing here.
And then there were the people who attacked me. Yeah, I got
attacked by some of the souls. They wanted any coins I had on
me. But they were so frail and weak that I could blow on them
and they'd collapse. I just dodged them and tripped them, and
their limbs shattered. They didn't even scream in pain, as
though they'd adjusted to being in pain all the time.
I started to wonder what I was seeing. I started to theorize
       about this place.
I think what was going on was that these people were working for
coins. And I think, when they earned enough, they think they'd
be allowed to leave. Whether or not they would, I don't know.
But I could tell that these people were desperate to escape.
They were willing to push themselves past the point of death
(since they couldn't die) in order to try and earn their
       freedom.
So, people worked desperately. And if they gave into despair,
they were tortured until they worked again. And the demons
didn't stop people from trying to rob each other of their coins,
and some demons were even robbing people of their coins.
My guess was that they would get near enough, and then someone
would rob them so they would have to start over again. It would
be an eternity of working to earn your keep so you could escape,
only to have it stolen before you could ever get enough.
I couldn't help but wonder what twisted mind came up with this
idea... All the sections of Hell have their own methods of
torture, but this was new to me. I'd never seen this section of
Hell before. And I knew every section of Hell from my time as
       demon king.
I would have never thought of this as a torture. The demons
barely have to do anything. They just let the people torture
themselves, and then only step in at certain times. It was
twisted, but a very effective version of Hell.
Part of me wondered if it was an allegory for the humans who
take advantage of others in jobs, where the people sent here are
the ones who work people past their limits without caring at all
about their wellfare. It's a very effective punishment.
       Yeah... This was messed up.
       I couldn't think about that though, because I had a mission. I
had to find Goten and Nightbane fast if they were still alive. I
couldn't fly, and I couldn't use any of my abilities without
giving myself away. Thankfully, none of the demons were trying
to get me to work yet. Some did look at me, but they just went
back to what they were doing. I guess the black cloak that Dream
Mika gave me did its job.
As I walk through the village/kingdom/whatever you'd call it, I
saw so many people here. They were all in such despair. I could
tell the ones that had been here a long time vs the ones who had
just gotten here based on how they acted. The ones that had been
here a long time had basically given up on trying to work, while
the new ones had hope that they could escape with enough work.
If Nightbane and Goten were here, they'd be one of the new
       people.
As I walked, eventually I found them. They were curled up
       sitting in a corner, hiding.
When I saw them I ran over to them. I pulled my hood down and
they looked up at me. They tried to talk, but couldn't say
       anything.
I knew they didn't have long at this rate. Their skin was
burning off, and they couldn't breathe. I'm guessing Nightbane
was using his ice to try and slow the burning, while Goten
seemed to be using his Silver Sharingan to use medical ninjutsu
to heal the damage as it happened.
How they survived this long is impressive given how much time
had passed. Even though I'd only been here probably a few
minutes, it had likely been about 4 hours in earth time. They
definitely should have asphyxiated or burned to death before
       now.
As they look to me in fear, waiting for me to tell them what to
do, I nod to them. They were more afraid than I'd ever seen
them. Though it made sense given everything that happened to
       them.
Me: It's okay, you two. You're going to get out of here. I said
as I handed them the coins from my pocket, and then took off my
necklace and bracelet. I handed them to Nightbane and Goten, and
then took off my cloak and wrapped it around them.
Me: You two have to escape now while you can. Use the coins to
pay to get out. The cloak and holy crosses should protect you...
I explained. But I stopped when I felt it. That's when the
environment of Hell hit me like a freight train.
Taking off the cloak and the cross necklace and bracelet meant I
was exposing myself to the full scope of Hell's environment. And
if you know my last story, I nearly died the last time I came
       here.
I collapsed my knees, coughing up blood. I could feel my skin
burning, and my lungs were starting to burn out. I could feel
       myself unable to move.
I saw Goten and Nightbane try to rush over to help me. They
tried to put the cloak on me, but it was too late. I was
coughing and my lungs were going to give out soon. I looked up
to them with the last of my strength.
Me: You have to... escape... You... can't die... down here... or
you'll... be stuck. I wince as I spat out the words with every
ounce of strength I could muster.
I fell to the ground. I knew this was it for me. I did what I
meant to do. As long as Goten and Nightbane made it back, that
was all that mattered. As long as they made it back, my prayer
       was answered...
As I layed on the ground, my vision started to fade. And I could
feel myself getting weaker. The rock beneath me actually felt
cold now despite the heat. It soothed me a little bit in what I
       thought were my final moments.
As I faded out, I thought I was hallucinating, because I heard
Mika's voice one last time before I passed out. I figured it was
       just me dying.
My last thoughts before I lost consciousness was how it was
ironic that I'd die and be stuck in the one part of Hell I'd
never been to before since this place was so new to me...
And then I lost consciousness. But I didn't wake up in Hell like
       I was expecting....
       - Kindron's Dream Theme: L'Amour Impitoyable (

       )
Instead, I was laying in an open field. Flowers, grass, cool
       wind. It felt nice.
My arms were spread out, and I was laying on my back. I couldn't
move at all, like my body was just sapped of all strength, which
made sense given that I was probably dying.
And cuddled up next to me, laying on one of my arms, was Dream
       Mika.
It's weird... Dream Mika has gone back to pretending to be Mika
in my dreams. But now, whenever she shows up, she's always
finding excuses to hug or cuddle up to me. I don't know what
Dream Mika is trying to do. and I never get to ask what she's
doing. When I told Mika about Dream Mika, Mika thinks Dream Mika
is using this to get close to me, or that she has a thing for
me. Neither of us are sure which.
Dream Mika just seems to enjoy being near me. Which is weird
since I know now she's not Mika, and she knows that too.
Thankfully, she's never trying to get too intimate with me. She
must know I can't control myself in these dreams, and she could
make me do whatever she wants. But she seems to just be happy
       being near me.
But anyway, Dream Mika just lays cuddled up, her head resting on
       my arm.
Dream Mika: I didn't think you'd hand the necklace and cloak
over to them... I thought you were gonna blast your way out like
last time. She says somewhat jokingly.
I remember what happened in Hell.
Me: Even if I did... I know I didn't have the strength to fight
it like I did last time. I knew going back would likely be the
end of me this time. As long as Goten and Nightbane make it
back, then my prayer is answered. I said, content with my fate.
I wish no one had to suffer hell. But even worse, I don't want
my friends to ever have to suffer it.
       Dream Mika smiles to me.
Dream Mika: Is that so? I'm surprised you'd be so willing to
leave it all behind... Leaving behind Mika and Sariel to fend
for themselves? That's not like you. She says to me.
Hearing Mika's name made me snap up. I sat up before I realized
       what I was doing.
Me: Mika! I said to myself, remembering I heard her voice before
       I passed out.
Dream Mika sits up as well, and looks out to the field with a
       solemn look.
Dream Mika: Things are preceding as expected. I hope you're
       ready for what comes next...
That's when the dream stopped, and I woke up.
I woke up in a hospital. I didn't know if it was the same one we
were investigating or not. I just know I woke up in a bed.
There were tubes going down my throat. I could tell I was on
life support. It was helping me breathe even though it was still
       painful.
       - In the Hospital Theme: Compassion (
  HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Wdizp_kTuc
       )
The hoses seemed to be helping me control my breathing. I
couldn't seem to breathe on my own yet. When I tried, it was
like my airways were on fire. Literally.
Mika was laying next to me, and woke up when I twitched.
Mika: You're awake! She says as I look around.
Me: I'm still alive? I ask her telepathically, since I couldn't
       talk.
Mika: Yeah. We brought you back here with Nightbane and Goten.
Kristiel is treating them in another room, but they're going to
pull through. Kristiel is healing them. She explains.
Me: Yeah, it's not the physical damage I'm worried about. I said
to her. And like that, I was getting a feeling of deja vu.
Mika: You were lucky. They had to restart your heart after we
       got you back here.
I then remember what happened right before I passed out.
Me: Hold on. Before I passed out... Was that you I heard? I
asked her, wondering if I really had hallucinated or not.
       Mika nods.
Mika: The research people gave me one of the suits. I led the
       team down there.
Me: You didn't have to do that. You suffered enough already.
Mika just looked away, almost ashamed.
Mika: I couldn't stand the thought... If you, Nightbane and
Goten had died down there, and I was too afraid to help, I'd
have never forgiven myself for being such a coward. She says
       almost quietly.
Me: Mika... You suffered a horrible thing no good mortal should
ever have to suffer. No one blames you for being scared. You
held it together better than most people would have.
Mika: Doesn't matter. If you all died because I was afraid, I'd
deserve to go back there for abandoning you. She says.
A moment of silence passes. I couldn't believe how harshly she
was treating herself. Sure, it was good she was overcoming her
fear, but I never wanted her to have to keep reliving that
trauma, let alone blame herself for what could have happened to
       Nightbane, Goten, or myself.
Me: What made you come with the team? You could have commanded
them from the waiting room. I asked, curious.
       She looked to me.
Mika: The old lady. She said that the team better be quick,
because you weren't going to make it back if they didn't go in
       and pull you out immediately.
I tried to tilt my head, but I just grunted as I felt my throat
       stop on the tubes.
       Me: What old lady?
       Mika looks to me, confused.
Mika: There was an old lady in the room when we got there. She
was there when we got back.
I was confused. There was no old lady there when we were in
       there.
Me: Mika... After Kristiel took that child and the mother out of
the room, there was no one else in there. There was no old lady.
Mika looked at me, confused. Mika: You didn't see her? She was
sitting near the arcade machine. She didn't say anything while
we were there. She was just a fat old lady who was sitting in
one of the chairs reading a paper.
       I shook my head.
Mika: Oh great... Now I feel even more crazy. She says jokingly.
I decided to change the subject.
Me: What about the waiting area we were investigating? Anything
       there?
       Mika shakes her head.
Mika: No. We destroyed the arcade machine when we came back.
We're still investigating, but there's nothing out of the
ordinary. The room seems to be back to normal after we got back.
Me: Then the arcade machine and the old lady might have been the
cause of the incident... If you saw the old lady, and she knew
that I wasn't going to make it, I don't think it was in your
head. I think the old lady was probably a specter.
Mika: Only visible to me, though?
I then remembered I needed to tell Mika something else.
Me: Speaking of specters... Dream Mika appeared again. But
before I went to Hell, she appeared in the real world. Before I
went in, she appeared and gave me the black cloak, and the cross
necklace to protect me when I went in. Something about Heaven
       answering my prayer.
Mika: Really? I didn't know she could appear in the real world.
       She says, tilting her head.
Me: Nor did I. It was new to me too.
Mika: Well, if she helped you and the others survive, then
that's good. I'll leave her be this time. She says jokingly as
she puts her hand on mine.
I'd explained to Mika about Dream Mika, and explained every
dream I had about her. I always stayed open and told Mika
whenever I had experiences with Dream Mika. Mika didn't know
anything about Dream Mika or why Dream Mika looked similar to
her. Neither of us understand what's going on around her. And
Mika is starting to wonder if Dream Mika has some kind of
ulterior motive for what she's doing appearing in my dreams. I'd
be lying if I wasn't wondering the same thing.
Me: What about the coins? Do we know what they were using the
       coins for?
Mika: No. She says, shaking her head again. It's definitely
       suspicious.
Me: Yeah... That place we were in was a new section of Hell. I'd
never seen it before and I've seen every section of Hell. And
the coins seemed important there. I had to pay to get in, and
the demons said I'd have to pay to get out. They weren't
interested in the gold coin I found. They seemed more interested
in my dimes and quarters than anything. They didn't even take
the 50 cent piece I had in my hand.
Mika: Interesting... So they didn't want the gold coin. It has
to be for the metals rather than the value. They must need the
       metals for something.
Me: But what could they build with that? They're just copper and
nickel, and I can't think of anything they'd build out of that.
Mika: Well... This may not be about something physical. This was
probably connected to specters, and we know spirits treat items
differently than we do. Maybe it's used for something else in
the spirit plane? I mean, spirits aren't exactly logical since
the spirit plan follows such strange rules. She says,
theorizing. It was the best guess anyone could have honestly.
I nod as best I could. She was probably right. It was definitely
about the metal. When it comes to understanding the spirit
plane, it's not that it doesn't make sense. It's that its rules
are basically different geometry than the rules in our world.
Everything works differently, but the spirit plane does have its
       own rules it follows.
But the Hell thing aside, this was curious. We definitely had
things to figure out. Like who that old lady was, and why she
tried to help Mika rescue me. Or why the coins were so
       important.
I was curious about that new section of Hell and who designed
it. As a demon, I couldn't help but admire how effective it was
at torturing people, but as a person, I wanted to tear that
place to the ground and free the people there.
As I thought about it, the door kicked open and someone danced
his way in like he owned the place. And his phone was playing a
       song.
Akiba Hellsing... Not someone I expected to see. Let alone
playing the song he was playing.
       - Akiba Hellsing Entrance Song: Lowrider (
  HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILN7hG4kUFg
       )
Akiba danced his way in. Though he stopped and went into his
       phone as the song played.
Akiba: Damn! That wasn't the song I had queue'd! He says as he
       goes into his phone.
He turns off his phone music.
Akiba: I thought that was going to be a great entrance too... He
       says jokingly with a shrug.
Mika: Akiba! She says happily as she jumps up and hugs him
cheerfully. Mika was good friends with Integra and Akiba from
when we worked with Hellsing a while back. We all became good
       friends pretty quick.
Akiba: Hey Mika! Doing good I hope. He says as he hugs her back.
As they let go and Mika sits down, Akiba looks over to me.
Akiba: Wow, buddy. You've seen better days. He says to me.
Me: Yeah. It's been a weird day. Though if you were gonna put on
a show, I'd have ordered food so I could enjoy the show. I say
jokingly. Akiba was a lot of fun. And I think he was trying to
cheer us up after what we'd been through.
Akiba: Hey, if I can help you out, I'm good. He says jokingly as
he sits down. He then gets serious as he looks to me.
Akiba: Mika told me what happened. And she told me a bit about
your other hell adventure. That's two encounters with Hell among
people who shouldn't ever have been able to go there. He
       explains.
Mika: Yeah... It is strange. I won't lie about that. She says,
trying to hide her PTSD, talking about the first hell incident.
Akiba: Sorry, kiddo. Not trying to make you uncomfortable. He
says as he pats Mika's shoulder. He could definitely see that
       she was having a moment.
Akiba: But this is the second time that people who should never
have gone to hell have gone there. And the Men of Letters is
starting to wonder why. The Vatican and the other church sects
are investigating as well. He explains to me, knowing what that
meant for me that the church was probably going to send people
       as well.
Me: So... Where are we at?
Akiba: The Men of Letters are trying to develop protection for
you guys in case this happens again. It's slow going, but if we
combine that with the suits, and make some weapons that can be
useful against demons, we can hopefully have teams on standby if
       this does happen again.
Me: But that's not all, is it? I knew there was something more.
       Akiba isn't usually this serious.
       Akiba lowers his head.
Akiba: The Church... The Men of Letters... We can feel something
is getting ready to happen. Even the archangel Michael is
       preparing for something.
Me: What about the gates of Heaven? Any progress there? I asked.
He was one person I was asking about how to get into Heaven.
Since the Men of Letters have more knowledge written down, and a
ton of Enochian (angel language) stuff, I figured they might
have something that could help me.
Akiba: Afraid not. The angel tablet can close the doors, but
that doesn't help since the doors are closed already. He
       explains.
Well... It was worth a shot.
I was lucky to still be alive. Dream Mika, and that old lady
Mika said she saw must have been the reason I survived.
But why though... Why was I the one everyone was interested in?
And why were my friends being pulled into Hell to pull me into
       this?
I didn't know, but I knew I had to figure out what was
happening. Because if Akiba was right, then we might not have
       long before whatever happens... happens.
And I could only hope I'd be ready, as I remembered Dream Mika's
final words before my dream ended...
       In Hell:
       - Ending Theme: Demon Mist (
  HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7z6ycX59ge0
       )
Outside of Kindron's small room, elsewhere in his universe,
       there was something else happening.
In Hell, Anubis sat on the throne. He was waiting for his demon
to come and report to him.
The demon walks in and kneels to Anubis.
Anubis: Speak. He says simply, his voice echoing through the
       room.
Demon: It seems the humans have put a barrier around the hole.
I'm guessing the human who infiltrated Hell must have warned
them about the tear in space time.
Anubis: Unfortunate, but expected that they would find the tear
eventually. He says before shifting in his chair. How much of
the Distorted Azurite have we managed to get?[/b]
       The demon looks up nervously.
Demon: We have twice the amount that you requested. But we can't
get anymore from the fields without infiltrating from the
outside of the fields. And with the specters there guarding the
fields, our demons aren't able to get much. He said. It was
clear he expected Anubis to be angry that they were not able to
       get anymore.
       Anubis nods.
Anubis: Good. You have done well. It was to be expected we'd be
cut off. The fact you have twice the amount of it is to be
commended. That will make our plans go much smoother. You will
be rewarded for your service. He says to the demon.
       The demon bows.
       Demon: Thank you, Lord Anubis.
       Anubis: Anything else to report?
       The demon gets nervous again.
Demon: It seems that another gate operated out of containment...
And it's led to other groups on Earth investigating the
       incident.
Anubis: Any idea what caused it? He asked curiously.
Demon: No. But reports say that humans wearing special suits
came in and attacked tactically using some kind of weapon we'd
never seen before. But the demons who survived said the weapons
weren't fatal. They seemed to only incapacitate and weren't
strong enough to kill our kind.
Anubis: Good. The humans will continue to adapt. We must be
cautious. And if the humans are able to infiltrate, we must stop
these incursions and figure out why our new gates are moving out
       of containment.
Demon: We are investigating. But human groups are starting to
       take notice... Including the Vatican.
       Anubis sighs.
Anubis: That is quite annoying... I would rather not tangle with
Hei Darkfire if I can avoid it. At least until we can kill him
       more easily.
Demon: We do still have our agents in the Vatican. According to
reports, it seems that Hei Darkfire has foregone the title of
Father, and has been restructuring the organization under his
command. It's being suggested establishing his own sect of the
Church. Some are calling him Brother Hei, while others call him
Pastor Hei. As the head of his own sect, it seems he is trying
to put the practices of the church more in line with those of
       the bible.
Anubis: Then he is even more dangerous as a result. He was
already dangerous after he purified himself into a purified
fallen angel, but now our enemies may be multiplying if he is
building his own church. And his church will be even more
powerful if he is aligning to the bible more closely... Our
sects may not be able to compete with him if he gains traction.
       He says, thinking.
Demon: But you'll defeat him, right, Lord Anubis? He says
       nervously.
       Anubis chuckles to himself.
Anubis: Do not worry. Our plan is in full motion, and no one
knows the scope of what we will soon accomplish. And not even
God himself will stop me from claiming Heaven and Earth as I
become the next and most powerful Demon God. He says
       confidently.
As Anubis talks, he had no idea that events were already in
motion that would challenge his plans... As though God himself
was ready to put Anubis in his place.
Whatever plans Anubis has, he has already set into motion, and
it seems that Hell is backing whatever plans he is unleashing.
Little did Kindron Darkfire know, that he would become the only
one that could stop Anubis. But time would only tell when and
       how...
       End.
