He says to Alastair.
Alastair nods and bows to both with a calm smile.
Alastair: Of course. I'll get your food and drinks right away.
He says as he vanishes in a burst of Darkfire Sonido (the
Darkfire stepping method for their martial arts used for fast
movement).

Kendrix: I do have one question first. What's your criteria for
picking leaders of the clan for each area? Is it all about their
darkness skills, or is there more to it? Because seeing the guy
before me... I think his name was Servius, who got revived at
some point... seemed more about playing games than actually
getting anything done. I'm still getting used to the politics of
all this. Even after like 5 years of doing this stuff. He says
the last part sarcastically.

Lasombra: Actually there is more to than just their mastery of
darkness abilities. They must show proper leadership, cunning,
and the ability to handle the Camarilla as a balance. Then as
you have found out the politics. There is also the ability of
espionage. He says with a serious yet serious tone. Lasombra:
This Servius was obviously a fool who lost his way and became
very unserious. His voice this takes on a more teasing quality.
Lasombra: The clan leader should be of Lasombra clan blood, but
I can make an exception for you.

Kendrix shrugs. Kendrix: Yeah. I don't know too much about that
Servius guy. I fought him a few times since he got revived a
while back. I figured they recruited me because my darkness
skills were the best at the time and they just said, "f*ck it.
This kid can do the job."

They probably did do that, and I wouldn't blame them if they did
if this Servius wasn't.. up to par. I would have stepped in had
I been revived sooner, but at least the clan seems to be
thriving under you. That the main point at this time. He then
folds his hands in his lap and sits back. Lasombra: Now I was
strict about regular training in the arts of darkness and
espionage. Are you still maintaining such requirements?

Kendrix: Yeah... That and my Abuelo (Edgardo) killed Servius. I
think many of them were afraid that would happen to them. We
have restructured a bit in order to keep the Sabbat organized,
so I think that's why the clans are thriving here. As for
keeping up with my training, I'm always evolving my skills
further. I am trained in my father's combat in assassination and
stealth, and learned the League of Assassins training as well
since my father took over that group a few years ago and trained
with them. That combined with my own shadow skills I developed
myself in my timeline with my adopted brother, I'm pretty good
at it. When I became the head of the clan, I was also trained in
their shadow disciplines as well so I know how to use them. I
default to my demonic abilities most of the time and my fear
abilities, but I am the darkest person in the room. In more ways
than one. He says the last part jokingly.

Lasombra: I am truly impressed by your training for someone so
young. It sounds like you have been taking great care of this
portion of my clan. Now what changes have you done with this
portion of the Sabbat? Are you still balancing with the
Camarilla?

Kendrix nods. Kendrix: Indeed. We're mostly going through legal
channels and getting support. My father, mother and I
restructured the Sabbat to more effectively use our resources,
and we've gained a number of allies. We have three
organizations, there's my father's organization, the Ghosts of
Legion which also includes the League of Assassins. My father
was made the head of the Assamite Clan by my Abuelo, Edgardo Del
Salvador. My father, Hei Darkfire, handles the political side of
things and makes alliances with those that are useful to the
organization alongside me. My mom heads the actual sect of the
Sabbat, and she heads the Brujah clan. They mostly do
intelligence gathering and take out enemies when we can since
she prefers the brute force approach. And then I handle the
criminal element with my organization, Black Sun. Even though we
handle crime, we're sanctioned by the government, and have
spread our influence to other spots around the world. Black Sun
operates within government procedures with our goal being to
control crime rather than just stop it. If we control the
criminal element, our organization will control the light and
the dark... So to speak. These days, we're collectively all sort
of referred to as a group even when people talk about our groups
individually, but this structure has helped us organize far more
effectively, with each clan and group having their own work to
do.
