Story: Michael Arrives

(Story: Alternate Michael's Arrival)

This has been a long time coming, but finally got around to
doing this one.)

"Hello sister... Been waiting long?"
It had been almost a month since Gabriel had warned Sariel about
the incoming threat, and Sariel had been preparing.
It was another day in Heaven, where Sariel had been since
leaving her last encounter when Gabriel showed up. Since the
angels were getting fewer and far between, Sariel and Erena had
to stay behind more often than not to make sure Heaven wasn't
completely unprotected and that someone could keep Heaven's
power going.
Sariel: I expected you quite some time ago, Michael... Getting
lazy? Your friend Zeus has been here for over a month now.
Michael: Sorry about that... It took longer than I thought to
pull my forces out of my world and bring them here.
Sariel and Erena ready their weapons, since they knew a fight
was incoming. As Michael pulls out an archangel blade, alternate
Muriel appears behind Michael. Alternate Muriel had out her
sword and her angel blade, ready to fight. Alternate Muriel:
Don't bother. Even if you beat us, can you beat our forces?
Sariel: We can and we will! Sariel attacks Michael, and their
battle begins. Sariel uses her weapon to try and spear Michael
who just counters. The two start also using god fragment power,
thanks to the fact they were in heaven and could unleash their
full power.
Erena goes and attacks Muriel, with Muriel countering everything
she could attack with. Muriel: Someone got a promotion. You're
better than our Erena. She says as she notices Erena's archangel
aura and power.
Erena: I gained it because I am loyal to Heaven! I worked hard
for this.
Muriel: Too bad you won't join us... You'd make a good addition.
She says as she continues to counter Erena fairly easily with
her host body's combat style.
Erena: So... I take it you gain power from that vessel of
yours... You can't even use your own skills to beat me? She says
as she tries to get through Muriel's defenses.
Muriel: What can I say... She's a tough woman. The two of us
together are almost unbeatable.
Erena: No one is unbeatable. She says as she continues trying to
attack
Meanwhile, Michael and Sariel attack each other. Their battle
starts to shake parts of Heaven thanks to the god fragments they
were using.
Michael: You should join me sister... How do you plan to stop me
when there's almost no angels left in Heaven?
Sariel: I am the rightful inheritor of the throne. I earned this
spot! I'm never giving it up to someone like you.
Michael: Yet you abuse your power to hunt down hybrids. Not a
wise choice considering one of them will probably be the ones to
end you.
Sariel: Please... I can't be killed that easily.
The two continue their fight, with Michael sidestepping Sariel
at every chance. It doesn't take too long though before Michael
manages to get behind Sariel and stab her in the back with his
archangel blade, causing Sariel to wince in pain. As Michael
pulls the blade out of her back, he kicks her forward and blasts
her with a heavy dose of god fragment power that knocks her
through a wall. As she tries to get up, she coughs up blood,
trying to recover.
Michael: Don't worry sister... I'll make sure Heaven runs the
way it should. We'll make sure to make good use of heaven. He
says as he walks over, picking her up and stabbing her again in
the stomach, though not fatal, it was stopping Sariel's
regeneration.
Sariel: This... isn't possible... An archangel blade...
shouldn't be able to hurt me... She says weakly.
To the side Erena notices Sariel down and goes to try and help
her only to be slashed by Muriel and one of her angelic mana
waves, blasting Erena back through a wall. When Erena hits the
wall, she gets up, ignoring her pain. However, Muriel attacks
again, stabbing Erena with her sword, and then jamming an angel
blade through her lung, making her scream in pain as the sword
and blade pierce her.
Michael: It's over Sariel... Heaven is mine now. I don't want to
have to kill you. He says to Sariel.
Sariel: Go... to... hell... She says weakly.
Michael: Cute... He says sarcastically
Before Muriel and Michael could kill Sariel and Erena, they seem
to disappear, and Muriel's and Michael's kill blows hit nothing.
As Michael and Muriel look over, they see Gabriel and Crowley
carrying Sariel and Erena.
Gabriel: Gotta love these awkward family reunions, huh? He says
jokingly.
Michael: Gabriel? Is it really you? He says in surprise
Gabriel: 110% me. Accept no substitutes. He says with a smile.
Meanwhile, Muriel's eyes light up blue as her mana flares and
anger fills her eyes as she notices Crowley, having been caught
off guard since she didn't realize there was a Crowley in this
world or that she'd meet him so soon. Muriel: Crowley. She
mutters in anger.
Crowley: Got a bit of an anger problem there... He says as
Muriel's power starts to flare
Muriel: Who wouldn't after what you did?! She says angrily.
Crowley: Sorry darling... But you're referring to a different
Crowley. I don't know what evil things he did to you to anger
you like that... But he's an idiot if he thinks that's a good
idea. I learned not to **** off archangels a long time ago.
Michael: So... I don't suppose you're here to join us... I know
we could work out a deal if you really wanted to. He says to
Crowley and Gabriel.
Gabriel: Sorry... But I'm not giving my fun to work for you.
Michael: You should stand with Heaven, Gabriel! You could help
me rule. He says to Gabriel.
Gabriel just looks to Michael with a serious face, which was
rare for him. Gabriel: I don't think so. I once told Lucifer the
same thing... I'm not on Heaven's side or Hell's... I'm on their
side. Humanity's side.
Michael: I'm going to save these humans. You could be a part of
that. You know this world, you can help me get through to these
humans.
Gabriel: Sorry... But I like my life on earth. Heaven needs to
learn that humanity has to follow it's own path... Both you and
Sariel need to learn that you can't just interfere in lives
whenever you feel like it...
Crowley: I think that's enough talking for today... He says as
he notices that Erena and Sariel had both lost consciousness.
Gabriel smiles and winks as he snaps his fingers, causing them
all to disappear.
Muriel: I'll find them... I'll make sure Crowley dies for his
intereference. She says as she gets control of her anger.
Michael: No... We have more important things to do. We need to
get our angels set up here and get settled. Lucifer is still
also running around earth somewhere. We have plenty of enemies
we need to avoid for now until we get settled here and get our
forces ready. I need to get in touch with Zeus so we can
coordinate our forces together.
Meanwhile, in Muriel's mind, Integra just laughs a bit. Integra:
It's always fun to see how you blow a fuse whenever Crowley's
around... You could go after him. I'm sure we probably know
where he is. Why don't you go... Avenge those you lost to him.
Muriel: Shut up. I don't need your opinion. She says mentally as
she pulls out a cigar and lights it.
Integra: One leader to another... You need to deal with him now
or he'll be a problem later. She says, trying to get Muriel to
go after Crowley. Of course, Integra was always trying to make
Muriel make poor decisions so that she would get herself killed,
or turned against Michael, and Muriel had gotten used to it at
this point.
Muriel: Later perhaps. We'll have our chance... She says
mentally as she turns her attention back to Michael as she
smokes her cigar.
Meanwhile, Michael takes the throne, sending his next message
out through angel radio to everyone who could hear it.
Michael: Sariel is no longer in charge. I am the new ruler of
Heaven, and the one who will save humanity. Unlike Sariel, I'm
not going to hunt down nephilim. On the contrary, I invite all
the nephilim who have been rejected or attacked by Sariel to
join me. I promise you a place among us and I can help make you
all stronger. So come and join me if you want your true place in
Heaven among my forces. I promise that you won't be
mistreated... And make sure you stay tuned for what comes next.
He says as he ends his broadcast to the angels and hybrids
Muriel: It seems we just need to wait now...
Michael: Indeed. I am curious to see how many people will join
us. He says with an amused smile.
