After the reploids were destroyed, there was nothing between
them and the student, since the reploids were guarding the
student. Once inside, Takahashi goes to the side of the table to
unlock the restraints on the side he was standing on, which
would leave it so Cress would unlock the other side's
restraints.

She sheathed the blade once again before she approached the
table to undo the restraints on the student finally freeing them
from the table

Once the student is free, the student opens her eyes, having
been unconscious as her eyes shine red, and a varanium knife
slides out of her sleeve as she attempts to stab Cress, hoping
that even if the girl misses her heart that the girl would at
least do some damage and negate her regeneration. Even Takahashi
was surprised and doesn't react right away, getting caught off
guard.

Cress coughs harshly as the blade doesn’t hit her in the heart
but it does lodge itself in one of her lungs. She stumbles back
from the table, wrapping a hand around the blade in an attempt
to pull it out of herself

Once the girl gets up, she looks over at Cress.
Takahashi: Damn... We're too late. Hei already turned her to his
side. He says as he takes out his knife. Because Takahashi
hadn't been told she was being turned, it legitimately caught
him off guard.
Before the girl can say anything, they'd feel Hei's presence as
the temperature drops in the room even before they saw him
walking through the doorway with Drake. Hei takes out a special
knife, a varanium blade mixed with the metal of an angel blade.
The silver tips was that of an angel blade, but the black part
of the blade was varanium, which Cress would likely sense as he
holds the knife, spinning it in his hand before holding it
ready. When she pulls out the knife, her regeneration wouldn't
kick in right away, due to the varanium.
Hei: You think you're so smart... You saw my plan a mile away,
and you even called it out, but you still fell right into the
trap anyway. He says as he gets his knife ready. I'm going to
have to teach you to be more careful. I can't have my soldiers
running into traps like this. He says to Cress.
Takahashi says nothing currently, just getting his blade ready.
He looks like he's ready to fight Drake, who just stares at
Takahashi. The two had a plan to catch Cress off-guard as a
backup in case Hei failed to kill Cress.

Cress: I knew this might happen. I had a h-hunch She stops
briefly in her speech to cough again laying a hand over the stab
wound. The wound was already pouring blood since her
regeneration wasn’t currently working to patch it up. She looks
down at her blood coated hand before she looks at Hei. but for
some reason I foolishly thought better of you than this. She
starts to back away from both Takahashi and the table as well as
Hei and Drake

Hei slowly moves toward Cress, ready to kill her once he got
close. Hei: Everyone keeps saying that... If I still had a soul,
it might actually annoy me... Lucky for me I don't. He says as
he throws a varanium knife at her, trying to use it in
combination with his wires with the wires connected to his
grapple device on his wrist. He keeps his angel blade/varanium
knife in his other hand ready.
Takahashi tries to walk over to Cress, but is cut off by Drake
who moves in front of him. Since Takahashi hadn't revealed he
was the traitor yet, he had planned to catch Cress off guard
during her fight with Hei if she managed to get by Hei.

Cress just barely manages to move out of both the knife and
wires coming at her. She then uses a bit of slight of hand
arcane magic to making her seem like she stayed where she was,
but in all actuality she had timed her movements to be able to
slip off behind Takahashi to sink her angel blade into his gut.
Hopefully avoiding Hei’s notice until she already finished the
action.

(Powers that bend space and time don't work in Castle Darkfire
unless she is supplied with one of the castle's crystals. It's
one of the negations the castle always has in place.)
