"I'd ask Azara or Camira, but they're busy with special
classes."
Those were Takahashi's words to Cressida, who had orders from
Dark Lord Hei to lure Cressida to Castle Darkfire. One of
Takahashi's students was captured by Hei to sell the deception,
though Hei had already turned the student into a Castle Darkfire
servant without knowledge of even Takahashi so Takahashi could
sell the deception. Though Takahashi had the ability to suppress
all of the signs of lying, Hei had set things up so that
Takahashi could be truthful (For the most part) about Hei having
taken one of his students to Castle Darkfire. Takahashi had
asked for help from Cress, opting to take just her to Castle
Darkfire. So far, no one had even come close to realizing that
Takahashi, Alice Rynn, and Zack Fair Darkfire were working for
Castle Darkfire thanks to them being able to sell their
deception and Hei's genjutsu that makes sure people can't sense
him empowering them.
Takahashi: I have a plan to get into Castle Darkfire. He pulls
out a special crystal. Normally, teleportation is negated unless
you have one of these crystals. If we get to the kid and get him
quick, we can just teleport out. Though I doubt it will be that
easy. I can't fight through all of the town's demons and
supernaturals alone so I need someone who can fight well, but I
can't take a team or it will alert Hei to the fact we're there.
I'm taking a risk enough as it is with my holy aura since I risk
lighting myself up like a beacon when I enter the town,
considering everything there is demonic and a holy person like
me stands out. I have a backup plan though if it goes south. I
don't know who else to turn to right now, and if I wait, Hei
might kill my student.

She sighed slightly faltering a bit on her words. Rescue
missions weren’t really her normal cup of tea so to speak, but
with her sister unavailable and Camira too..well she’d have do
it. She looked at Takahashi not sensing anything that might lead
her to not help him. Besides her familial connection to Hei’s
family was strong and it would be a crime in her opinion to let
him fall any farther down this path that he’s been walking.
Cress: I’ll help you with this. It may not be my strong suit,
but it would be wrong of me not to do what I can considering
everything that is... Look we don’t seem to have a lot of time
to spare with this so we should probably go now if you want them
breathing when we arrive. I can’t promise Hei won’t notice me
there though. Our family goes back enough that he might, but
it’s worth it at this point.

Takahashi: I can handle the actual rescue. I just need your help
with the actual fighting. You're a pretty tough fighter and one
of the toughest I know. He gets the crystal ready to teleport
them into the city. All we can do is hope the two of us will be
beneath Hei's notice... That's partly why I just wanted you and
me, since he'd probably not consider us a threat by ourselves. I
hope. He says the last part with a sigh. I can teleport us if
you're ready. I'll have to teleport to the outskirts though.
We'll have to fight our way through town to get into the castle.

Cress: Well if it’s fighter you need then you’ve definitely come
to the right person. She looks at the crystal her eyes gleaming
red to hazel gold before they settle on her normal color as she
lets more of her energy and magic pulse through her veins.
Let’s get a move on then. Nothing good happens by just standing
here. She flexes her hands ever so slightly as if itching for a
fight which is nothing new to her. The girl takes a good hit as
well as she deals them and almost seems to enjoy it.

Takahashi: Alright. He uses the crystal, teleporting them into
the Town of Darkness, the town on the outskirts of Castle
Darkfire

Cressida is nearly immediately up on her guard pushing forward
her demonic aura to help mask the Holy aura that would show up
more strongly with the both of them exuding it. She does her
best to push it on to Takahashi as well. Her steps barely make
any noise as she walks into the city. For such a normally bright
woman it’s been quite easy to lure her here. Cress: Well this is
just as I expected from Hei these days. The place is certainly
something you know...

Takahashi: Agreed... The dark fog is dangerous, so we should
head to the Castle to get out of the city's air. He says as he
starts moving toward the castle. Of course, it wasn't Cress
being stupid that was making it easy to lead her along, but
rather the fact that everyone seems to forget how good Hei is at
deceiving people when he wants to or doesn't know how good he
is, most since he doesn't really do it that much anymore. It was
a skill that most people don't get to see, or see how he uses
plans to deceive people.
It doesn't take long before demons start flocking to them,
intent on finding out who Takahashi was since they could tell
that Takahashi was out of place. Cress's demonic power seems to
hide her, but Takahashi's presence made him stick out, though
this was part of the plan to wear out Cress before she made it
to the castle, since Takahashi could have used powers from Hei
to conceal himself, but that would risk exposing his empowerment
by Hei.

She merely did her best to keep up with Takahashi even as they
started to become a little surrounded the deeper into the city
they got. She decided it was best to start clearing the field
before they became too overwhelmed. Her first line of attack was
to draw the blade of Delilah out from its sheath and slice
through as many of the beings as possible before she had to use
her magic and give herself away. Luckily for her the God Touched
item slide through them like butter. It also helped that the
girl was pretty adept with a sword and quite light on her feet.
Cress: Damnable beasts. Say hi to father on the way back. Uncle
too if he’s back in town.

As they get closer to the castle, the demons get stronger, since
most of the stronger demons lived closer or in the castle.
Takahashi helps Cress fight off the beasts, using a varanium
knife to kill them. As they make their way to the castle, it
wouldn't take long before they'd find a way in. Luckily Hei
didn't care much about the lives of the lower demons in his
castle, so sacrificing them for this little deception was fine
by him. Takahashi uses his holy vampire power, using talisman
seals to destroy demons he couldn't reach normally.

Cress: Would it be stupid of me just to knock on the front door
like a welcoming party? Her question was followed by the swift
severing of a demons head that she kicked off to some area
behind her. Fighting through them all with a sword and the
little bit of arcane energy that she pushed through every
physical punch or kick to the demons forms was starting to wear
down on her. It also didn’t help that what energy that wasn’t
focused on fighting was being pushed out into keeping her aura
of a fully demonic soul intact. A woman weaker than her would
have most likely collapsed out of pure exhaust with the level of
energy Cressida was pushing out.
