       Elseworlds Story: The Knife
By: Zorbak the Ebil Moglin Date: December 8, 2025, 10:21 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
       Opening:
       Opening Theme: Level E (
  HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMpWPc6sCy0
       )
"I won't tell you anything! You Darkfires don't have the stones
       to torture an unarmed ma-"
That was all the man got out as he screamed in pain when Kindron
stomped on his leg and snapped the man's kneecap like a twig.
Kindron: Don't test me. Now tell me what I want to know, NOW. He
says, emphasizing the last part. Tell me who attacked the
Zolnerowich family! He yells angrily (and impatiently) as he
kicks the man's other knee and snaps it also, causing the man to
scream in pain again. This time his scream filled the room.
Hei: Are we even sure he knows anything? Maybe Kierran's
intelligence network isn't as great as he says... He says to
Kindron, starting to wonder about if they had actually been sent
to the right people to question.
       Kendrix: I confirmed Kierran's intelligence, so I don't think
it's wrong. He says, his arms crossed.
       This was the scene...
Kindron, Kendrix, and Hei were standing side by side after
having heard about the attack on the Zolnerowich family. The
room was littered with bodies, with blood all over the floor.
The foot prints that Kindron and Kendrix left were intentional,
while Hei had sidesteped all the blood. The three had killed an
entire room of criminals. While this group was dangerous,
Kindron, Kendrix and Hei weren't here about the crimes they
committed. They were here to avenge a crime, but a much more
       personal one.
Kindron was wearing his dark knight gear, Kendrix was wearing a
black robe with a priest necklace to the demonic church, and Hei
was wearing his full assassin gear.
Kindron the Dark Phoenix Knight, Kendrix the Shadow Demon, and
       Hei the Black Rogue...
Three souls who were almost never seen working together.
But this was different. Kindron, Kendrix and Hei standing
together rather than fighting their own battles. Something that
most people could never imagine. Even Qrow Darkfire and Natasha
Zolnerowich knew that Kindron, Kendrix, and Hei didn't really
get along. But as the saying goes: Desperation makes for strange
       bedfellows.
       But back to the present...
The man, gasping in pain, looks to Kindron.
Man: It was those damn Raider guys! He says desperately.
Kindron takes the man's arm and snaps it, causing him to cry in
       pain again.
Kendrix: We already know that part... And most of them are dead.
       He says sarcastically.
Kindron: They're just the animals. I want whoever let them off
their leashes. He says darkly to the man.
       Man: I don't know!
Kindron: You people have been wanting to destroy the Darkfire
and the Zolnerowich families. I know you're still loyal to the
       old Order of the Dragon...
The man cries in pain from his broken bones.
Man: I don't know anymore than that! We had nothing to do with
the attack on them! I swear! He says desperately and still in
pain. The Order of the Dragon has started new! Ruari and Tarlach
don't want no trouble with you guys!
Kindron: You're not working for Ruairi. I already checked.
Kendrix: And I saw the statue in your room... He says as he
throws the statue he pulled from the man's room and threw it on
the ground in front of him, not caring that the statue shattered
to pieces. The moon with the snake wrapped around it. That's
Remilia Scarlet's new rallying symbol. I know you and your
people are working for her. He says darkly.
Hei: After all... There are a lot of Order members who hated the
new direction and wanted to continue the old goal to take over
the world. He says as he leans against a wall.
Kindron: Perhaps it's time I took a dive into your memories...
Kindron then activates his special skill, the Majin Eye, which
causes one eye to turn black and the normally red eye to gain an
       almost snakelike pupil.
Hei: About time... He says as he notices Kindron's Majin Eye
       activate.
Kindron: Show me what you have seen. He says to the man, almost
as though casting a spell. And as Kindron uses his Majin Eye,
which causes the man to scream even more as the ringing sound
almost symbolized Kindron's eye seeing into the man's mind, he
stares into the man's eyes. And as he stares into the man's
eyes, the man screams as Kindron goes through the man's
memories, almost as though the act of Kindron going through the
man's mind was causing him pain beyond anything he'd ever felt,
even with the torture Kindron and done to him not too long ago.
After a few moments, Kindron could also read a multitude of
other sins the man had committed. When Kindron went into his
mind, he saw the man who had done some awful things that no one
would want to speak of. The man's memories almost seemed to
speak to Kindron, and Kindron left no stone un-turned in the
       man's mind.
Hei: You could have done that from the get-go and saved us a
whole lot of effort. You're not usually one to torture people.
       He says sarcastically.
       Kendrix chuckles at Hei's comment.
Kendrix: I don't know. I like brother's new ruthless side.
Though I'd have gone with better torture method than that. He
says, analyzing Kindron's torture style. Most people, if you
break their bones like that over and over, they pass out from
the pain. It's a rookie mistake.
Kindron sighs and drops the man as he hears Kendrix giving him
pointers on torturing people. He walks away with a deep sigh of
frustration. But not before turning to Hei and Kendrix.
Kindron: Kill him if you want. He says to Hei before he stands
       aside.
Hei: Does he deserve it? He asks simply.
Kindron: Let's just leave it at the fact you and Kendrix have
killed people for a LOT less than what this guy has done. And if
you don't kill him, Kendrix probably will. He says with a shrug
as he walks away, not caring whether the man lived or died.
       Hei just shrugs in response.
Hei: This was a waste of time... He says bitterly as he slashes
the mans throat with a knife. He then spins the knife in his
hand before putting it away as he watches the man grasp his
throat with his only working arm, and choke on his own blood
before the life leaves the mans eyes.
Kindron: It seems Remilia Scarlet isn't behind this... He sighs.
I hate to admit it, but I'm starting to believe Constantin and
Kitsune when they said the old Order members were on the run. I
thought they'd be ready to fight us, but it seems like they're
not after us. He says with a shrug.
       Hei shrugs again.
Hei: Drakath's people are your friends, not mine. So I don't
know how trustworthy they are. He says.
Kindron steps over the bodies, as Hei and Kendrix also behind
       him.
Kindron: Back to square one... He says with a sigh.
A voice comes as Kindron's two friends, Goten Uchiha and Shadow
       appear.
Goten Uchiha appears from behind Hei, almost as though he were
coming out of nowhere, which was evidenced by the slap to the
       back of Hei's head.
Hei: Ow! What was that for?! He says, rubbing the back of his
       head angrily.
       Goten: That was from Kierran.
       Hei: For what?!
Goten: For insulting his intelligence gathering skills. He had
legit reasons for suspecting these people. They were former
Order of the Dragon, and rumor is that some of the Order members
       were planning something.
Hei scoffs. Hei: So he knew what I said. Big deal. Doesn't make
him good at his job. He says bitterly.
Meanwhile, Shadow, in his signature black armor, kneels to
Kindron. Shadow was a specter, but one was very different from
most specters. Unlike other specters, Shadow was never looking
for trouble, and Kindron recognized that Shadow was not like
other evil spirits. After Shadow joined Kindron, Kindron gave
Shadow a special armor to use as a body that he could possess.
The armor became Shadow's real body, and ever since, Shadow had
been following Kindron, even letting himself be bound to Kindron
so Shadow could respawn if he were ever destroyed by respawning
his presence inside of Kindron's spirit.
Shadow: I have confirmed reports... Of the group called
Nightshade mobilizing against the Darkfire Family.
Kindron: There's always a Nightshade... Or an Order of the
Dragon... Or some vampire family who got too big of an ego for
their stupid heads. It never ends. He says angrily. He takes out
and holds his pocket watch, which had the Darkfire and
Zolnerowich family symbols carved onto it.
Hei: Zakai has already told me he's watching out for it and will
call us back if we are needed. He says to Shadow.
Kindron: The Werewolf Alchemists are already mobilized. Kain
Silverfang is ready to attack this group if they attack us.
They'll have no idea what hit them. Drakath has also mobilized
the wolf wraiths as backup. This group is in for a rude
awakening if they think they can kill us. Better groups than
them have tried. He says darkly.
Kendrix: And I have Black Sun standing ready as well. Whether in
the light or the dark, this group stands no chance against us.
       He says with a smile.
Hei: We can't underestimate them, Kendrix. And that goes for
Kindron too. We need to track down this person who attacked the
Zolnerowich family and who is trying to wipe us out. We need to
figure out what's really going on. This isn't just some random
attack. You can feel it too right? The rise of spiritual power.
Just like what dad described back in his old days before... He
says to Kindron, stopping short. Long ago, the rise of evil
spiritual pressure had been an event that triggered the battle
that had called Qrow Darkfire and Natasha Zolnerowich to work
       together.
Kindron: I know... I feel it. The rise of a new evil. It's
different from how Dad described it, but it's similar enough I
feel something similar. He says, before getting a solemn look.
Our family is strong. And we'll kill anyone who hurts our family
       and friends. He says darkly.
Kindron holds the pocket watch he was holding and carefully
looks at it, remembering better times. He remembered when he
went to learn magic at the capital of the kingdom (And had been
the youngest to graduate the Academy of Magic), and this pocket
watch that the Zolnerowich family gave him when he graduated
years before he was supposed to. It was something they made for
him, embuing it with a black flame wolf spirit that was designed
to act as Kindron's companion, and was designed to connect with
Kindron's magic abilities. But after the Zolnerowich family was
nearly wiped out, Kindron had been holding it in a different
meaning. Instead of being a reminder of the friendship the
Darkfires shared with the Zolnerowich family, it had become a
beacon, a memory that was going to be used to destroy whoever
had nearly wiped out the family.
Kindron: Don't worry, Kovu... You'll get to taste their blood
soon. I promise. It will be poetic... Letting one of the
Zolnerowich family's creations be the one to avenge their
family. He says to the pocket watch.
And for a moment, it sounded almost like a wolf growl came from
the pocket watch, as though the beast inside was waiting for the
clock to strike... A signal of the right time to exact it's own
vengeance for the ones who created him. A spirit that had become
angry and ready to pounce in order to punish the evil done to
       their family.
       A day later.

Man: SIR! The Darkfires! They're here!
The man, Erik Matheus, had been waiting. He sits in his chair,
knives on the table as the man had run in with the report.
Erik: I can see that from the explosions outside. I told you to
       deal with it.
Man: We're trying sir, but they're too strong!
Erik: You can't even handle a few low-level vampires?
Man: It's not low-level Darkfires as we expected, sir! It's the
Dark Phoenix Knight and the Black Rogue! He says desperately,
with the sounds of screaming and explosions coming from a few
       rooms over.
Upon hearing who was attacking, Erik stopped, nearly dropping
       the knife in his hand.
Erik: What?! They're working together?! Why are they the ones
coming here?! Our intelligence said that lower level Darkfires
were the one investigating us! He says.
The man was about to respond, but gets blasted by a blast of
dark energy that blasts him through the wall. The room the man
gets blasted into explodes with black flames.
Meanwhile, Hei and Kindron walk into the room.
Kindron: So... You're Erik Mattheus of Nightshade right? He says
       darkly.
Erik scoffs and looks at Kindron and Hei as he gets up and grabs
two knives, while putting the rest in his cloak.
Erik: Figures. You Darkfires don't do anything right. You were
supposed to stay home until we were ready to blast your little
home into the next life. He says sinisterly as he walks up to
face Hei and Kindron. So. Two of the Three Prodigies came to see
me... I'm going to enjoy this. He says with a smile.
Kindron: You know about the attack on the Zolnerowich family,
       yes?
Hei: Doesn't matter if you do or not. We're still going to kill
you and your organization for all the lives you've already
       taken.
Hei's words especially trigger Erik as he looks to them. While
there was no change in his controlled expression, a silent anger
       fills the air.
Erik: You Darkfires are such annoying self-righteous people.
Heroes of the kingdom. Heroes of the common people. He says as
he holds his knives, his words hinting at something more to his
       hatred below the surface.
Hei: Well. This is new. Someone standing face to face with us
and not wetting themselves. He says sarcastically.
Erik glares to Hei. Erik: Oh, don't worry. I know full well I'm
going to die fighting you people. And I'm prepared for that. As
long as I can destroy your reputation, that's all I care about.
He says as he readies his knives.
Kindron: We don't need a lecture. I'm going to take your
memories and kill you now. He says as he draws his sword and
       moves in to attack.
Erik: All this vengeance for your precious human friends... And
yet you're going to stop me from getting my revenge? How obsurd?
He says as he blocks Kindron's sword with his knife.
Hei: We don't care about you or what reason you have for
       fighting.
Hei appears behind Erik, causing Erik to have to jump over Hei
and move around Hei as Hei tries to swing at Erik with his
       knife.
Erik was now glaring at the two as he turns back around to face
       them.
Kindron and Hei to attack again, and Erik drops his knives as he
catches them both with his foot in a fast motion. He then kicks
them in the air back to the table, where they land on the table.
Erik then slashes at Kindron and Hei with his werewolf claws,
which Kindron and Hei didn't even see coming before the claws
slashed through Kindron's armor and Hei's cloak.
The two jump back, both hurt from the claw slash.
Kindron: Well... That was unexpected. And we thought he was
human. He says as he regenerates the damage from the slashes.
Hei: Damn. That was one heck of a bad read. He says
sarcastically as he realizes Erik was a werewolf from the claws.
Erik: And they celebrate you as heroes? You should have been
able to read my attacks pretty easily. He says angrily. Even
though he was not showing much emotion, it was clear Erik had a
lot of anger built up. Any other warrior would have been killed
by now after being consumed by anger, but Erik seemed to be a
better controlled warrior than most would be in this situation.
Hei: You are going to die here. You know that, don't you? he
says as he steps forward to get ready to attack.
Erik: Of course. I know Nightshade has no chance against you. He
       says with a chuckle.
Kindron was about to jump in to attack again, but Hei grabs
       Kindron's shoulder, pulling him back.
Kindron: What are you doing, Hei?! Let's finish him! He says to
       Hei.
Hei looks to Erik, his expression different, although it was
hard to see under the mask and his hood.
Hei: I want to know if he deserves it. He says to Kindron. He
then turns to Erik. What could be so important that you'd give
your own life for nothing if you know Nightshade can't win?
Erik: For nothing? Of course not. He says, laughing almost
sinisterly. But if this makes the Darkfires enemies of the
kingdom for all the people you've killed on your little revenge
quest, then its worth it if I die. After all... I made sure to
lure you to where I wanted you to be. And not all of the people
you killed were guilty. I led the Darkfires to places that
weren't associated with Nightshade at all. He says to them with
a smile. And when the kingdom turns against you, I won't have to
kill you. They will... The humans. That is my final victory. And
you will know it was ME who beat you!
Hei: Why would you want to destroy our reputation? What do you
       get out of it?
       Erik: Revenge. He says simply.
Kindron: Funny that you're out for revenge. Just like us. He
       says with a chuckle.
While Kindron found Erik's answers amusing, Hei was now in a
completely different mode, as though he was starting to see
       something that Kindron didn't.
Hei: You lost something... or someone. He says to Erik.
Erik looks down for a moment.
Erik: Of course you wouldn't know. All your werewolf friends,
your friends in the shadows, even your friends that took over
the Order of the Dragon and turned them into a respectable
organization working for the kingdom... He says with a sigh. Not
everyone has been so lucky. Everyone always talks about how you
saved the kingdom. But no one talks about the people you didn't
save. You get respect for everything, but I bet you didn't even
count all the people who died back then. He says, partially to
       himself.
       Hei: Who did you lose?
Erik: My wife and daughter... They were killed by specters.
Ripped apart while I was helpless to fight back. Sure I could
destroy a few, but the numbers wiped out the entire village. He
explains. He clenches his fists, and then looks up to Kindron
       and Hei.
While Kindron was not caring about Erik's motivations, Hei had a
different expression, almost as though he understood what Erik
       was feeling.
Erik: That's why I do this. You don't deserve to be recognized
for saving everyone. Because you DIDN'T save everyone. Those
like my wife and daughter... No one cared about our lives! He
       says darkly.
Hei looks down, contemplating. Suddenly, things became so clear
to him. And he realized something...
Hei: You're right. The old man, the old lady (Natasha
Zolnerowich). They didn't save everyone. And you're right to be
upset. We get the credit, but in the end, we should have been
more mindful of the people we couldn't save. He says to Erik.
Erik stops in response to Hei. Erik's hands drop to his side for
       a moment.
Kindron: What are you talking about, Hei?! He says to Hei. After
all this guy has done, you want to side with him?! He says
       angrily.
       Hei looks to Kindron.
Hei: Look at us brother... We let anger consume us. Revenge?
We're no better than Nightshade. We're just like him. We're not
heroes. He turns to Erik. Anger consumed us. But I'm done
letting it consume me. He walks up and holds his hand to Erik in
a gesture of friendship. Your wife and daughter wouldn't want
you to throw your life away like this. You can honor them... He
       says softly.
Kindron growls to himself as he gets ready.
Kindron: Hei... Don't screw this up! The Zolnerowich family was
       nearly almost all wiped out!
Hei: You used to be the first to show compassion to people in
pain, brother. And for the first time... I think I understand.
       He says.
Meanwhile, Erik walks over to Hei carefully. Having someone
finally acknowledge that the Darkfires weren't perfect and
shouldn't be treated like heroes had felt like a dream that he
never expected to see come to pass.
       But then...
A shadow tendril from behind Erik comes out and stabs him in the
       throat.
Hei runs over to Erik as Erik falls to the ground as the shadow
tendril pulls itself out of his neck.
Hei: NO! He says as he goes to try and help Erik. However, as
Erik lies there, gurgling on his own blood and unable to move,
Hei just turns his head to the shadow tendril. That was
UNNECESSARY! He says, angrier than he'd been in a long time.
       Damn you, Kendrix!
Out of the shadows, Kendrix walks out with a smile on his face.
Kendrix: I love doing that. He says jokingly with a smile as he
looks at Erik, and the angry look Erik was giving him.
Kindron walks over, glaring at Erik as he kneels down.
Kindron: Before he dies, I need to read his memories. We still
need to know who was behind the attack on the Zolnerowich
family, and I don't think it was him.
Hei angrily punches Kindron across the face before he can
activate his Majin Eye. He then turns and tries to kick Kendrix,
       who just jumps back.
Hei: I can't believe this! Are EITHER of you the brothers I
know? Or have you two just devolved into villains yourselves?!
He says angrily. He walks up and stomps over to Kindron and
       Kendrix.
       Kendrix shrugs and chuckles.
Kendrix: Honestly, I'm kind of enjoying Kindron and me being on
the same page for once. I love this new side of him. I hope he
keeps it permanently. He says jokingly.
However, before anyone could say anything more, their blood ran
cold as they felt something else enter the room. Even Hei's and
Kindron's respective anger felt insignificant when they felt
       what had just come in.
There were two figures. One they instantly recognized from
Qrow's description... The dark energy, the power of a specter
that felt chilling to the bone. The creature without a real face
other than eyes that could stare into your soul.
Hei: Is that... He says, shaking.
Even Kendrix was frozen in place.
Kendrix: Cordath the Dark... Holy sh*t, he is real. I thought he
was just a rumor behind the old incidents.
Kindron walks up beside Hei and Kendrix, and readies his sword
as he regenerates his armor from the battle with Erik.
Meanwhile, another figure in a black ornate cloak reaches over
and heals Erik's neck before he could fully die, as Erik was
still clinging on to life (albeit barely after Kendrix's sneak
       attack).
Kindron holds his sword to the man in the cloak.
Kindron: Cordath and some unknown? So who are you? You feel
human... But I can feel an evil power coming off you. He says to
       the man.
The man chuckles as he glares to Kindron, with only a red eye
visible from under the hood of his cloak.
Man: I am Anubis. I am no longer human... I am your new god. He
says sinisterly, not afraid of Kindron in the slightest as he
lifts up Erik and prepares to teleport away. You will see me
again soon... You can count on that.
Hei tries to run over, only for Cordath to cut off Hei and throw
Hei into a wall hard enough to make Hei cough up blood on
impact. Hei falls to the ground.
Kindron: Are you two the ones who orchestrated the attack on the
Zolnerowich family? He says to Cordath and Anubis.
       Anubis: I did not.
Kindron: And why should I believe you. He says to Anubis.
Anubis: Trust me. If it had been me, I would make sure you knew
it. If the man who did orchestrate it hadn't done it, I would
have wiped them out myself. He explains to Kindron.
       Kindron grinds his teeth.
Kindron: You may not have done it. But you just earned yourself
a target on your back, my friend. He says as he gets ready to
       attack.
Anubis: The time of our confrontation has not yet come, boy. But
it will soon. And you will see this man again soon as well... He
refused my demon power before, but now he no longer has a
choice. His soul will become one of my new specters... Thanks to
you three. He says with chuckle before vanishing with Erik, who
just gives a look to Hei who was still on the ground as though
Erik was hoping Hei could do something about this situation. It
was obvious from that single moment that Erik respected Hei, but
Erik knew that Anubis and Cordath weren't just going let him go.
However, Anubis vanishes in a burst of darkness and demonic
       power.
Kindron turns to Cordath, who was just standing there, as though
daring these three Darkfires to attack him.
Kindron: So... You're not the one who attacked the Zolnerowich
       either I take it?
Cordath: I am not. But entertain me, and maybe I'll tell you
something. He says to Kindron, even though it was partially for
       Hei and Kendrix too.
Kendrix: I guess I better give it a try. He says as he goes to
attack Cordath. Kendrix vanishes in a burst of darkness and
       appears behind him.
However, Kendrix basically just teleports into an elbow to the
gut, as though Cordath attacked where Kendrix was going to
appear before Kendrix had even thought about teleporting.
And the power that Kendrix felt elbow him was enough to cause
him to scream in pain as he is knocked into the roof and ends up
on the second floor, gasping in pain.
Kindron goes and tries to attack Cordath, using his sword and
Kindron's own dark energy. Kindron summons his own special
skill, Hades, to try and attack Cordath with a burst of holy
darkness that Kindron adapted specifically to fight specters.
However, Cordath just grabs the blade and looks to Kindron with
a bored expression in his eyes.
Cordath: I was kind of hoping the three Prodigies would be
stronger than this working together. But I guess I shouldn't
expect much from such a low level world. He says, partially to
       himself.
Kindron tries to strike free, and tries to kick Cordath in the
side of the head. But Cordath doesn't even flinch when the kick
       connects.
Cordath crushes Kindron's sword in his hand, along with the
energy that he had used to try and counter Cordath's own
       darkness.
Cordath then grabs Kindron by the neck, hard enough to choke
Kindron as Kindron tries to break Cordath's arm in a martial
arts motion. A motion that doesn't even move Cordath at all.
Cordath: I guess giving Anubis all those spirits wasn't even
needed, was it? If I kill you three right now, it seems that
human is going to kill all of you without any issue. He then
       shrugs while still choking Kindron.
However, a long spear of lightning spears through Cordath's
chest, causing him to drop Kindron.
As the lightning disappears, Kindron slowly recovers as he gets
up after having fallen to the ground.
Hei runs over to Kindron, pulling him away from Cordath to try
and put some distance between them and Cordath.
Cordath, who was looking down, just looks back up, as his wound
closes and his specter body just regenerates the damage without
       any issue.
Cordath: Well... You actually caught me by surprise. Not a bad
accomplishment for ants like you. He says with a soft chuckle.
Maybe you'll amuse me after all. If you can hurt me like that,
I'm going to enjoy myself in this fight. But don't expect it to
actually hurt me. Nothing in this world or any I've seen have
been able to truly kill me.
Kendrix: Then you're going to love this! Kendrix says as he
appears behind Cordath and jams a black knife into Cordath's
back, and trying to pierce through Cordath's heart.
Cordath stumbles forward as Kendrix's attack lands home. Kendrix
uses Cordath's back as a jumping point, jumping off and holding
his knife ready as he lands on the floor and gets ready to move
       to attack again.
Kendrix: That one is going to hurt. I can guarantee that one. He
       says with a smile.
Cordath, rather than groaning in pain, just laughs in amusement.
Cordath: Two in a row. I'll give it to you. You got me with that
one. He says, almost happy. I was wrong... the three of you are
stronger than I thought. He says with a silent laugh. But I told
you. You can't kill me. Better people than you have tried.
However, when Cordath tries to step forward, he falls to the
ground. And when he touches his chest, he can feel dark energy
bleeding out of his chest. Which was strange, since the wound
       should have already closed.
Cordath: What... Why... He says as he tries to get up. What did
       you do?
Kendrix chuckles as he holds him his knife, a black knife that
       he had specially made.
Kendrix: This knife was forged with a special ability. It
manipulates and transforms energy. He says with a smile. You
said nothing in this world can hurt you... So I created a new
kind of radiation that isn't of the physical world using its
ability to transform energy to create spiritual radiation that
could hurt you. I created it specifically to infect you.
Cordath, rather than be intimidated, just gives a truly hearty
laugh despite the pain he was in.
Cordath: I was wrong. You ARE worth the time after all! He says
as he continues laughing. To hurt me like this... You three may
very well provide me with some suitable entertainment! He says.
Kendrix goes and tries to attack again, but Cordath gets serious
and grabs him, and then he throws him into Hei and Kindron,
causing all three to get knocked through the wall.
Cordath: Don't push your luck. He says sinisterly to Kendrix.
That knife if yours impressed me. But you're nowhere near strong
enough to be a threat to me. He says as he holds his wound on
his chest which was still bleeding dark energy. He gives one
last chuckle. As reward, I will give you three a hint. Go to the
living Zolnerowich family members. The one who orchestrated the
attack and tried to start Nightshade to fight you is the one who
has captured one of the remaining Zolnerowich family members. He
chuckles. The man is smart for a human, but he has no idea what
is waiting for him with the three of you coming for him. And
that's if Anubis doesn't dispose of him first. This world...
Perhaps it isnt so boring after all! He says, laughing.
Kindron, Hei and Kendrix climb over each other trying to get
       back up.
However, as they do, they notice that Cordath was gone, as
evidenced by his laughing having stopped.
Kindron: Great. That went well... He says sarcastically.
Hei gets up, moving away from Kindron and Kendrix.
Kendrix: Don't worry. That infection will keep him out of the
way for a while. He may survive, but next time, I'll hit him
with even more spiritual radiation. I just have to create new
radiation with this knife to hurt him. He says, holding his
       knife proudly.
Hei: I don't care. He says to Kendrix. After this war is over...
I'm done with both of you. He says darkly. We could have saved
that man, and you two had to make everything worse. He says as
       he walks away.
       Kindron: Where are you going?
Hei: To reconnect with the Zolnerowich family. To find out what
we're up against. He says. And as he walks out he adds one last
thing. And to find out if I can win without having to work with
you two. He says to himself.
However, as they leave, they fail to sense the energy that bled
out from Cordath that was spreading out, and seemed to be
       creating something from the energy...
       Something sinister.
       Later:
As Cordath sits down, his wound still bleeding dark energy, he
has an almost satisfied look in his eyes.
       Anubis walks over to Cordath.
Anubis: It seems like that human (Benedict) is continuing with
       his plan.
       Cordath chuckles.
Cordath: We'll see. When I tell him the Three Prodigies of the
Darkfire family are coming after him, he may decide to change
his plans. He says somewhat jokingly.
Anubis: We know humans like him rarely ever see the danger
coming for them until its too late... After all, that's why he
hasn't tried to kill me yet. Even though I'm far more dangerous
than the threats this world faced back in the old days. He
doesn't know that I plan to get rid of him and take his little
toys when he does. That girl... The Zolnerowich. I might be able
to turn her to my side if I go and kill that doctor. That doctor
thinks that torturing someone is the best way to get them to do
what you want. But that I will make that girl my servant by
giving her the freedom she desires, and the power to stand
against the people who abandoned her to her fate. He says
sinisterly. Of course, the Zolnerowich and the Darkfires hadn't
abandoned her, but that was how Anubis would frame it if he got
the chance to turn V to his side.
Cordath chuckles again, still holding his chest.
Cordath: You seem to be just as obsessed with that girl as the
human scientist. he says jokingly. Oh well. Have your fun I
guess. I'm going to have mine. He says darkly.
Anubis: That human thinks he's smart, but he doesn't realize how
much danger he's in... And how soon everything he has will be
mine, and then I will truly descend on this world.
Cordath looks over to Anubis. Though Cordath couldn't smile, he
would give the impression that he would be smiling right now if
       he could.
Cordath: It's true that humans are predictable, and humans like
him typically don't think they're in trouble when dangerous
threats are coming after them... But sometimes they can still
surprise you... He says, amused. What will you do, scientist
       (Benedict)?
       Anubis chuckles.
Anubis: Well. Whatever he does. There is no contingency that I
haven't already planned for... And soon, my new army of demonic
specters will be ready to march on this world. He says with a
       dark laugh.
Anubis then vanishes into the darkness.
Cordath just sits in his chair, holding his wound over his
chest, which still had not healed.
Cordath chuckles one last time to himself.
Cordath: To think... a little knife like that boy's was able to
hurt me. It's been so long since anyone's done something like
this to me. I can't believe a human made a knife was able to do
something even ancient spirits couldn't do. He says with a
       laugh.
       End.
