Lucien gives Qrow a big smile and nods his head. Lucien: Oh hell
yeah there are. Most were written by 2nd and 3rd generation
Toreadors, but there's like at least 10 songs and ballads about
you. One ballad is even said to have been written by your
brother, Toshiro, himself. He says as he pulls out a black
autograph book and a pen. He then slides them over to Qrow.
Lucien: Can I buy you a drink, sir?
Lucien's words and reaction make Laura laugh a bit, but she
       quickly regains her composure.
Robert sighs at Joe's words and takes a deep pull from his
drink. Robert: Yeah, it deals with those recent murders. It
might be him. Same MO. The notes are getting more morbid and
       cryptic.
Joe: Then I have your back against Balam. Joe says with a
serious and honest voice. He then takes a sip of his drink.
Erin slaps one of the bikers along the backside of his head.

Qrow: Um... Sure. He says to Lucien when Lucien asks to buy him
a drink. Qrow was not used to being well respected given his
past, and this was definitely a new experience. But he does also
listen in on the conversation about Balam, just in case he has
       to act.

Lucien: Great! This is exciting. He then waves down Laura who
       comes down to them.
Laura: What it'll be, sug? She asks with a sweet voice.
Lucien: I'm paying for his next drink. He says pointing to Qrow.
Laura: Alright. I'll add one free whiskey will be and to your
tab. She says with a wry grin.
       Lucien: Free?
Laura: Qrow be my man so he gets to drink for free. Must've
stunned him hard with the autograph if he forgot. She then
notices that Qrow has his listening face on.
Robert: Still can't ask others to fight Balam. He's a well
trained assassin and a vampire. One dangerous combination. Then
give his clan sand manipulation. He's a tough son of a b*tch.
Robert takes another sip of his beer.
Joe: That's a good reason to ask for help, Rob. Stop trying to
fight this guy alone. Joe takes a sip of his drink.
Robert: At this point, I'm thinking about getting some extra
training in my dark fire and see if I can melt his @ss the next
       time he turns to sand.

Qrow: I try not to take advantage of the free drinks... I don't
want to bankrupt the place. Qrow says to Laura when she mentions
he drinks for free, and then looks over to Robert. Qrow: Sand
manipulation is just another element. There are plenty of ways
around it. If you use dark flames similar to our family, then I
suggest using extreme heat and then cool it extremely quickly.
It will make it hard and almost impossible to move. Or you can
use water to turn it into mud, which sometimes also works. He
explains. As for the trained assassin stuff, you just need to
find training from a vampire and train until you can outmatch
him. I've seen plenty of humans who can keep pace with vampires.

Robert listens to Qrow closely as he drinks his beer. Robert:
Yeah, not too many vampires want to train a werewolf. Have any
recommendations on who to talk to? He asks Qrow with a quizzical
       look.
Laura shakes her head at Qrow and goes back to cleaning glasses
       but listens closely.
Joe and Lucien go quiet for the moment.

       Qrow: I don't have a problem with werewolves. I just don't take
on trainees anymore. he says with a shrug. But if you're looking
for help with elemental powers, I'd recommend Wolf-boy... He
stops for a moment as he realizes Robert wouldn't know who he
was talking about. Um... Kindron, I mean. He's my son, and he's
       a werepyre. He's both a Darkfire and an alchemist. He's also a
scientist, so he is probably the best person to talk to about
training when it comes to elemental powers. My other son, Hei,
could probably help with training as well, but his skillset is
more along the lines of assassination and combat. He's almost as
good as I am when it comes to being a fighter. And there's few
       people faster than him.

Robert: Well if you can hook me up with your sons then I'll owe
you one. He says to Qrow with a serious look. With an enemy like
Balam, I need all the training I can get.
Lucien and Joe take sips of their drinks.

       the help he can get.

Robert: Yeah, he's that bad. Centuries of assassin training and
a hate for werecreatures. The man once bragged that he killed
King Tut. He then takes a sip of his beer.
Lucien: According to what research I could on Balam, he's at
least 3,000 years old and slaughtered his sire to take over the
clan. He's ruthless and a bit arrogant.
Robert: He's also the one who's been murdering the local
werecreatures. Five dead bodies in a month.

Qrow: I see. Then I recommend you talk to my son, Kindron first.
Kindron actually helped fight off a werepyre hunter who was
targeting werepyres, so if someone can show you how to fight an
opponent specializing in werecreatures, it definitely would be
       him. He explains.
