Nightbane: Yeah... Something about this world and mothers just
don't go well together. He says somewhat sadly. My mother killed
my father when she found out he was a vampire. Killed him in his
sleep... She threatened to do the same to me if I didn't
suppress my power and act like a normal human. He says with a
sigh. No one ever proved she did it, but since my father was a
vampire, no one cared if she did or didn't. They were just glad
another vampire was dead.
Vin: Yeah, try not to. I don't think the generals would be happy
if you started something here.
Dragunov: I'm not sure... But if this is happening in the
Siberian Federal District (What Russians often call Siberia),
then they're on Russian soil. If it's another Hyperion and Black
Sun fight, then they need to be made aware that their conflict
is not to spread into our country. He says as he puts his hat on
and starts walking out to head to the place of the attack.

V: Damn. Those crappy mothers make actual good mothers in this
world look bad. I feel sorry for those good mothers.
Voltan: If it makes them feel better, V will be the first to
knock some sense into me if I even break a light bulb. He stated
jokingly
Alisa: follows Dragunov I agree with you on that one. Just try
not to get yourself killed, please. Same goes to Max when you
see her. Vik and I will back you two up.

Nightbane: We just got the short end of the stick huh? He says
jokingly.
Vin: Well... I don't think the people here will care too much as
long as they can fix the damage... But I'd still not try
anyone's patience.
Dragunov: Viktor is on evacuation duty. I want you on a sniper
position on the battle once I get there, and be ready just in
case. Try to keep out of sight and only fire if you have to. He
says as he starts heading to where the soldier reported the
incident was taking place.

V: Seems like it. My aunt, Natasha... she was more of a mother
to me. She was also one of the best soldiers in the Russian
Special Forces. Her death hit everyone hard... especially Maya.
Voltan: I'm not an idiot so no need to worry about that.
Besides, that bald grump looks like he can break me in half with
one glare. He said the last part jokingly
Alisa: You don't have to tell me twice.
With that, Alisa heads off to her left to grab her sniper gear
and equipment. Meanwhile, it didn't take long for the soldier to
do what he was ordered to do. At the scene, General Mumfre is
already in her standard combat gear talking to a mortified
Russian second class private and two American private first
class soldiers trying to help out while the other soldiers are
investigating. The moment Maxine got the message, she went
straight to the scene without a second thought. The scene was a
blood bath. Blood splattered all over the trees along with large
slashes that either look beast like, sword like or both. Body
parts were everywhere. Most look like they were imploded from
the inside out while others were either ripped apart, scorched
or hacked into pieces.
Mumfre: It's worst than I thought. Do you know where the
assailant went, private?
First E-3 (First Class Private): Not yet, ma'am. We're still
tracking them. But the last report was that they're getting
close.
Mumfre: At least that's something. Remember to tell them this:
No one search alone. You see a glimpse of someone, you report
and come right back as fast as you can without exposing
yourself. If you're in trouble, call for help immediately. We've
faced many dangerous people like this before we found out that
gods and monsters are real.
First E-3: Yes, ma'am!

Nightbane: Well... I was lucky I made friends with Araragi and
Shinobu... I guess Araragi is sorta like a brother to me at this
point.
Vin: Viktor? Yeah... Probably. He's a pretty tough old man. But
he's got a kinder heart than he lets on.
Dragunov walks up as Mumfre talks. Dragunov: I would recommend
them not engage without us. He says to Mumfre. Whatever the case
with this attack, I doubt someone would attack on Russian soil
without knowing that they'd be facing against us. I want to take
no chances on this.

Voltan: Heh. That sounds familiar. Voltan smiles as he finish
his drink
Mumfre: Exactly. turns to Dragunov Sam is also here. Maya is
still... elsewhere. Probably best anyway.
Maya has been out to training ever since the incident with the
Knights of Albain and Alternate Zeus taking over. The only
person she is secretly sending messages of how she's doing is
Sam... who is in turn informing Maya's family. Mumfre clears her
throat as she makes a shaky sigh.
Mumfre: This doesn't make any sense. One here and another one in
Kansas. Only an idiot would try to cause trouble in power
countries like Russia and the US. Whoever is doing this either
has a death wish or knows exactly what they're doing. I may
despise the gangs and the rest of our enemies but this... this
is something that I never want to wish on my enemy. Not even
scums like Kano or Macha and Black believe it or not. Whoever
did this had a LOT of anger.
Sam: On the radio earpiece "You can say that again, General
Mumfre. Hell, even Vi doesn't want any part of this. Then
again... I can understand why.
Mumfre: "What's your status, Sergeant?"
Sam: "We're getting close. Well, I think. This feels uneasy.
Like I'm being watched or something.
Mumfre: "You and your team turn back to where we are now. I feel
like we're in for something worse.
Sam: "We're on our way."
Mumfre: "General Dragunov is with me right now as we speak. Just
watch your step.
Sam: "No need to tell us twice. This feels like a sadistic
guerrilla warfare tactic. Whoever is doing this has a sick sense
of humor!" You heard that, you freak? This is NOT funny!

Nightbane: Not bad... They've been trying to help out Special
Forces since the Zeus thing. But there hasn't been much for them
to do other than helping SF take on supernatural threats.
Goten: Well... People around here sound interesting. He says,
having stayed silent for a while.
Dragunov: If I recall, the gangs were affiliated with
Hyperion... Which means this is probably a Black Sun/Hyperion
conflict. If they're fighting in America and Russia so casually,
then they must be confident we're not a threat to them.
Otherwise they'd be more careful to not draw attention.

Voltan: I'll say. Leaving the house today wasn't a total bust
after all.
Mumfre: They're getting arrogant. I expect this from Hyperion
more but still... this doesn't make any sense.
Sam: "I... think I know why. Mom, you and Uncle Sergei need to
hear this.
There's weariness in Sam's voice. Mumfre knows that this isn't
good if Sam calls the generals in family terms.
Mumfre: "What happened? What did you find?"
Sam: "A body that didn't look like it was in a human size
blender. Still, it looks mangled but I can tell you this:
They're not Hyperion members. It's a trick. I know this because
this dead chick by us was an ex Delta Raven soldier."
Mumfre's eyes widen in shock. Special Forces stopped Delta Raven
years ago. There were a military organization that were like
Ragnarok but more extreme. They were killing half blood children
for being born, making them worse than actual monsters.
Sam: "That's not the worst of it. I found a blood stained file
next to the body. They're files of secret organizations that use
hybrids like demigods and other creatures that are deem threats
to mankind as weapons. They're mainly orphans. Hell, even normal
humans and sub humans like the faunus aren't safe. And I can
tell you this, this explains why our perp was so p*ssed.
Mumfre: Sergei, this is bad. Although I despise Hyperion, I
hated Delta Raven even more. Especially for what they tried to
do to V years ago. You think our perp is trying to send a
message?

Nightbane: Yeah... Tough honestly I could have probably used
Araragi and Shinobu's energy drain abilities during the Zeus
battle... But probably better they weren't there. We were lucky
enough to survive the fight ourselves.
Goten: I'm okay with it... I managed to get a job done, so I'm
good with that.
Vin: We're just lucky we arrived in time to help you guys... I
was starting to get worried seeing a Hyperion and Black Sun
member working together.
Rei: I remember a file on that Scarecrow guy... Apparently he's
had associations with Hyperion and Black Sun, including a number
of other organizations.
Dragunov: It's hard to say what's going on... I feel there's
still information we're missing. I had heard of Hyperion and
Black Sun using third party groups in areas they have no
presence so that no one will track their presences into places
that have rejected the organizations. We can't discount the
possibility that they may have been Hyperion. But still... This
sounds like we just fell into a very personal conflict even if
they aren't Hyperion. He says in thought, stroking his chin as
he tries to analyze the situation like he typically did when he
was thinking.

Voltan: Yeah, Crane is an absolute nut job. Word of advice: Stay
away from him. Bag face's fear powers will mess you up. I've
seen it before and let me tell you, it's not a pretty sight.
Mumfre: It sure as hell looks like a very personal conflict.
Remember, usually there's something shady like lesser
organizations use large conflicts as an advantage to do some
very messed up things. Especially ones right under our noses.
That was when Sam sent something to the generals. It's a message
written in blood. Cryptic. Next to the message is a severed head
of an infamous ex scientist of Delta Raven.
"I want the pathetic brat spawn of Jupiter (or Zeus. Doesn't
matter, all of his children are no good). Since you people and
probably the President have a leash on her, I want her to come
alone to the place where it all began. She will know what I
meant. If anyone else follows, I will make you wish that you
were one of these pieces of scum. This warning especially goes
to the two knuckleheads generals."
Sam: "This freak is so f*cking dead"
