Nightbane: It's fine. I've been working on some new ice
abilities. One of which I could actually use your help on. So
what's up? Anything you want to talk about? We can talk while I
show you a technique I've been working on if you want. A power
I've been working on that will help us mix your lightning with
my ice much more easily.
Vin: Maybe we should send Goten to help him out? I sorta wanna
see how Itachi reacts to seeing him. She says with a joking
smile. After finding out Goten was an Uchiha, her curiosity had
gotten the better of her.
Goten: Who's he looking for? I might be able to help. I have a
network of informants thanks to time as a bounty hunter. I might
be able to help him track this person down. He says, now curious
himself.
Viktor: Aveline and Kera are safely with Ryu in the Land of
Dragons until we plan a counterattack. It's one of the few
places that I don't think that Zeus or his forces will be able
to get too since it's protected by a group of dragon gods, even
with the Black Sun and Hyperion war extending into their
territory. If he does manage to get there, then we have a backup
plan... Apparently Aveline is worried that Zeus will come for
her and Kera in order to try and corrupt them to his side. Raven
and Kenji are strong enough on their own, but Aveline is worried
that Kera might become a target for Zeus. Apparently corrupting
friends and family is a hobby for this other Zeus according to
Aveline. Kenji and Raven have been scouting Olympus to help plan
a counterattack on Zeus, but so far they've had little luck.
Everytime they get into Olympus, there's an alternate Artemis
who finds them and chases them out. The alternate is apparently
from Kindron and Hei's universe and was corrupted by Zeus long
ago. I haven't seen this other Artemis yet, but from what I have
heard, it makes me think it's a good idea we're hiding Aveline
and Kera from him cause I don't want to see what would happen if
Zeus got a hold of them.

V: Not much to talk about. Just the same maddening bullsh*t that
I need a break from. Sometimes I wonder why I was born with a
very messed up family...
Voltan: The sorcerer's name is Benjamin Richards. A crazy yet
powerful mortal who really don't like deities. Itachi even told
me that he and Artemis have arguments from time to time.
Mumfre: And we'll make sure that it doesn't come to that. Until
then, we just have to make sure that Kera and Aveline remain
safe. I trust Ryu and the dragon gods, but it doesn't hurt to
play it safe.

Nightbane: Well... Every family has drama. Gods, supernaturals
and humans all have their own stuff. But drama is both good and
bad. Honestly though, I think you have a pretty good family.
Maya, Sam, and the generals. You even have Vin and Rei. You may
be related to an asshole like Zeus, but you are also related to
some really good people. You're pretty lucky if you think about
the good that's come of how you were born.
Goten: Then I suppose it's a good thing I'm 100% human, huh? He
says somewhat jokingly.
Viktor: True. They have a backup plan if Zeus does get there. I
can't talk about it because they don't want it talked about out
in case word gets back to the other Zeus. I'd be more worried
about someone like Hyperion or Black Sun getting to them,
especially if Kindron is heading Black Sun now... I let Ryu know
that their stay there needs to stay completely secret. So far
Aigavlov has managed to keep them pretty hidden with a friend of
his he trusts.

V: smiles lightly You do have a point. There are those that I
don't regret meeting. Humans, half bloods, and deities believe
it or not. With everything that is happening, I'm glad that
you're still around.
Voltan: Heh. Well, he doesn't have a problem with halfbloods
like me and Ven but you should be good as long as you're not a
complete douche.
Alisa: Kindron wouldn't really... you know...?
Mumfre: Kindron may hate Hei but the only reason why he would do
it is if they get in the way. Worse case scenario, he try
getting one of our people on his side.

Nightbane smiles a bit. Nightbane: You wouldn't be rid of me
that easily. He says jokingly.
Goten: Well... I don't think he'll have a problem with me then.
I'm just a guy trying to survive in a crazy world. He says with
a shrug.
Dragunov: Killing people changes you... If Kindron is running
around killing people he considers enemies like I suspect, then
there's a chance he may try to use them against his brother.
From what Hei once told me, Kindron is somewhat jealous that Hei
managed to get a family while his was killed by Zeus. If he
chose to make his brother suffer, then Aveline and Kera would be
among his first targets. We can't afford to leave out any
possibility. Kindron is a landmine buried in a field. We don't
know where, when or what will set him off on us. It sounds like
he's already threatened V.

Voltan: We all are, amigo. But for now, let's relax. I don't
know about you but facing more than two old Order of the Dragon
members in the same week or so calls for a heavy drink.
Alisa: More like trying to get Ven on his side. The two has
suffered greatly. But the reason why she didn't turn yet is
because she had us who has been there for her ever since she was
a child. You take that away and what do you get? Besides,
knowing that the boy's main targets are his father and deities
like him, there's no telling that he'll turn against the deities
that are actually on our side... another reason why V didn't
turn in the first place.
Mumfre: He's not the only one with hatred in his heart. One of
our allies in both Eastern Europe and parts of Northern Africa
recently gave me the report of some gruesome murders from body
slashes and tortures to being scorched/electrocuted to death.
Most were Hyperion members. Others were people who are with our
other enemies. The recent one hit somewhere in Kansas. A gang
member was torn apart and thrown around like a rag doll before
being left to choke on her own blood.
As she discussed this, she sent the files of the events to the
others including to Sergei and Alisa. Alisa is used to seeing
murders like these but this... this is pretty disturbing. No
wonder the Russian President was on edge with paranoia recently.
She just hopes that he doesn't go back to his old hateful ways.

Nightbane: I can if you want. Might take our minds off things
for a bit. He starts forming an unusual ice, which Nightbane
condenses into a solid form by putting immense pressure on his
ice power and squishing it in it's solid form forcefully. When
he's done, the ice generated forms a new ice which seems to
generate it's own magnetic field. Super ionic ice. A type of ice
that normally can't be created on earth. With this ice, you
should be able to draw power from the magnetic field by
converting it into electricity. It's one of my new ice
abilities. He explains as he holds an ice ball in front of him
as it generates heavy magnetic energy.
Goten: Well, I'm too young to drink... He says casually. Even
though he looked fairly young, most people forget that he's only
about 17 or so.
Viktor: Yeah... I've been investigating some similar situations.
Not far from that one in Kansas was another incident. While
investigating it, I found an entire gang hideout that was wanted
for association with Hyperion. Everyone inside was frozen solid,
most of them in pieces. Some of them looked brutally beaten. I
saw what looked like heads punched clean off their bodies, holes
punched in chests, and some of them punched to pieces after
being frozen. If I didn't know better, the ice felt somewhat
familiar... Though I can't seem to place where I've felt that
kind of ice presence before. It didn't feel natural like most
ice users. It felt... bitter... Like the ice was conveying it's
own emotions or something.
(Eh fuck it, throwing in a teaser for the alternate Nightbane
too.)

V: That is pretty neat.
Voltan: Well, in certain countries. Since we're in Russia, I'm
sure that it'll be fine as long as they know your age. But I
guess we can settle with another drink if you're not a fan
anyway.
Mumfre: The same with the lightning... but it was dark filled
with immeasurable rage and hatred that make mine look like me
yelling at recruits acting up. I'm not sure who or what they
are. But one thing for sure, we have to warn our soldiers. If
any of them encounter these dangerous individuals, they cannot
engage no matter what.
Alisa: The general is right. We can't take any risks. Even when
we do have the equipment and firepower, we don't know what we're
up against yet. And I have a gut feeling that things will only
get worse.

Nightbane: I'm still working on certain other new ice abilities,
but this one should work pretty well for when we work together.
You should even be able to control it with your magnetism
abilities by controlling the magnetic field.
Goten: Yeah... I don't really drink, so I'll just take some soda
or something. I don't want to risk what alcohol might do to me.
Though he didn't say it, his body usually reignited his old
illness when weakened, and he didn't want to risk that happening
with getting drunk.
Dragunov: Agreed. We need more information. General Mumfre and I
might need to handle this one ourselves to find out what we're
up against.
Viktor: I won't complain... Though if you do need me, I will
help you out too. It sounds like these enemies are stronger than
we think.

Curious, V decide to test it out by trying to move the ice with
her finger and her lightning abilities.
Voltan: It's fine. Uh, this place have drinks here, right? I
don't know my way around this base.
Mumfre: We will notify you when things get intense.
Alisa: In the meantime, I'll notify both Presidents Witmore and
Pavlovich about this. They... both have the right to know.
Obviously, she's going to let Whitmore know due to what happened
in Kansas but she is a little hesitant with telling Pavlovich.
She knows that the president has changed but there were things
that she couldn't simply forgive and forget. Especially with him
trying to either execute or lock up her niece for being a
powerful half blood.
