Exiles WIP: Nightbane "Frostbroker" Shiraki

Frostbroker." - Nightbane Shiraki
"The Draconium Corporation thanks you for your business."
"Disobey me again... His eyes turn red as the air chills. And
I'll kill you myself."
"Real power isn't strength. It's the ability to bend the world
to your will."
"I've given you a great deal... It's up to you to take it or
leave it."
"I have a rather cold presence. But don't let it get to you. I'm
much easier to get along with than you think."
"I can't rage out. Not when I'm the head of such a prestigous
company under the eyes of everyone. That's a lesser employee's
privilege."
"We play the hands we're dealt. A good businessman knows how to
take advantage of any situation, even if it's not a favorable
one."
" 'Treat your soldiers like family, and they will follow you
into the valley of death.' " - Nightbane quoting Sun Tzu when
someone asked him about why he treats his criminals so well.
"Would you like some pizza before we fight? My people make the
best pizzas in the business. When I ask for extra cheese, they
put on extra cheese." - Nightbane jokingly to an enemy
"You never understood, did you Kindron? You try to scare
criminals off the streets, but there's always criminals to
replace them." - Nightbane to Black Wolf Rider Kindron
"The Order of the Dragon is good at worrying people. Worried
people demand the government to pay for my products to help the
government fight supernatural threats. And that raises our stock
prices."
"After your little PR hole you dug for yourself, I'd say you're
lucky we're putting on this farce at all. Shrugs. But hey. It's
your party, you can cry if you want to." - Nightbane when their
ally got difficult about their televised event.
"You can't touch me. You heroes have rules. And I follow those
rules. The government supports both the Draconium Corporation
and the Order of the Dragon. We operate within the government's
parameters to control crime. They know we manipulate the system,
and they don't care as long as I help them maintain their status
quo. They need villains after all... Villains that can make them
out to be the heroes they want to be in the public eye." -
Nightbane to an enemy
"This world needs heroes and villains. The only way we can
control this world is if we control both sides. It's a cycle
that must be observed. Without heroes, we stop developing new
tactics. And without heroes, villains become complacent and stop
becoming stronger. You want the world... You can't wipe out one
side or the other. You need to control both... So that you can
take advantage of the intelligence and the strength that comes
forth."
"You are under a misconception that we are a weapons contractor
and genetic enhancement company. We are not. What we are,
really, is a minerals/material distributor and pharmaceuticals
company. We do not make weapons, or genetic enhancements. What
is done with our materials and pharmaceuticals is not up to us.
And what criminals do with it is not your concern, but that of
the police. And the police rely on our materials to stop
criminals. So stop trying to play the hero or villain. Both
sides use our supplies, and we do business as needed, with
strict ethical and moral guidelines, of course." - Nightbane to
an ally, explaining the Draconium Corporation.
When an employee wanted to leave the Order of the Dragon.
Nightbane gives the man his payment.
Nightbane: As agreed. He says with a smile.
Employee: Good. I'm done. I'm leaving the organization, and you
can't stop me. He says.
Nightbane: I could stop you... But I'm not interested in doing
so. You're free to go. He says confidently.
Employee: What? They say, confused.
Nightbane: I am not going to hold you against your will or
threaten your family if that's what you were expecting. This
isn't some crime boss movie... Forcing you to stay wouldn't help
either of us. Instead, I'll simply say goodbye, and say that you
can come back if you ever need work with your... unique skills.
I'll even help support your new endeavors if you need any help.
Through legal channels, of course. I assume you're leaving to
start a more... legal type of business. And I respect that.
Employee: Really? They say, surprised by Nightbane's response,
having expected to have to fight their way out.
Nightbane smiles. Nightbane: I like to be the cool boss... No
pun intended. He says jokingly.
"He's a CEO by day. But he is the head of the Order of the
Dragon, and the man known as the Frostbroker. This is the only
guy who's ever had the nuts to risk the Black Wolf Rider coming
after him." - Someone about Nightbane.
"That man can command even the strongest supernaturals with just
words alone. The people in his Order of the Dragon organization
are afraid to go against him. Sure, he treats you nice, but if
you become his enemy, he won't hesitate to end you and everyone
you care about."
"That cold presence of his isn't just for show. If you cross his
organization, expect to be turned into a popsicle without
hesitation or regret. Hell, he hired me to help take on the
Black Wolf Rider just because he was a threat to his
organization. And I heard that he used to be friends with the
Black Wolf Rider, and betrayed him." - The Blood Rider (Black
Wolf Rider Kindron's rival) about Nightbane
