Dark Hellsing WIP: Lucein Enkard (Dark Hellsing Universe Version
       )
By: Zorbak the Ebil Moglin Date: August 26, 2025, 3:50 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
"I am neither Alucard nor Hei. I am something new." - Lucein
       Enkard (Dark Hellsing Version)
"My Black Hellfire consumes fire itself."
“You pretend to feel something long enough… it becomes real.
       That’s how monsters are born.”
"You are strong, but fighting isn't all about strength."
"I get so bored with all these weak opponents... So try your
best to entertain me for a while."
"I shall educate you on how a real vampire does battle."
"Those who refuse to give up are entitled their time to trample
       upon the weak."
"You may be strong, or fast, or durable, but it doesn't
       matter... I'm still better."
"Whether it be knives at short range, or guns at long range, you
       have no edge on me."
"Neither humans nor monsters can fight what I have become... A
       true king of the shadows."
“I butchered every voice inside me until only I remained. Now I
       wear their silence like armor.”
"I see you for what you really are: Nothing but a failure of a
creature who cannot even fight past their own weakness."
"My weapons are designed by Darkfire Technologies. They're
designed so that whatever I shoot doesn't ever get up again."
"I don't care for your robots brother... But they are efficient
at least. I guess I should thank you for letting me use them." -
Lucein to Dark Hellsing Kindron about his Alucard and Hei
       robots.
"No world waits for you to be ready. If you fall, don't expect
help getting back up. Fight until you can survive on your own,
so that no one else will fight your battles for you."
"My soul is not just spirit power like Hei Darkfire's Darkfire
power. My Alucard side gives my soul demonic and angelic
properties depending on which side of my spirit energy I fuse
into my elemental magic. So I can summon black hellfire, and
       divine lightning."
"It doesn't matter whether one is vampire, werewolf or human. We
are all killing machines, dressed in human skin or fur or
whatever appearace we take. In order to survive and get what we
want, we do terrible things. We are all liars and betrayers."
"I do not know how I came to exist. I only know that Alucard and
Hei battled each other, and somehow, their essences mixed
together when they both should have been dead. Somehow, their
blood mixed and their respective ability to gain powers from the
blood of others came through. When it was done, I was born from
the remains of both vampires. And now I am my own thing, a
fusion of both Hei and Alucard."
"I am a culmination of Alucard's demonic vampire power, and
Hei's magic Darkfire alchemy. But I also combine Alucard's raw
ability and instinct with Hei's natural talent and discipline.
With Alucard's ability to regenerate using the lives of others,
and Hei's regeneration making him extremely difficult to kill, I
am nearly unkillable. And with those powers, I am far beyond
anything you could ever hope to defeat."
"My guns are quite unique... He fires six shots. The gun
revolver chamber spins and new bullets appear in the chamber. It
uses space time distortion to turn back time when I fire my
weapons so that they can fire again without me having to reload.
It's like turning back time on the gun to a time when it was
fully loaded, and I can fire the same bullets over and over
again. My weapons can fire as many shots as needed to take a
target down, and each of my guns has a unique aspect that make
them able to kill anything I desire. Just like me... They NEVER
       stop."
“From cursed blood and darkened skies,
Let the wolves of ruin howl and rise...
Invoke the Shadows: Shinblight Retsuveil: Zero Protocol." -
Lucein using his Darkfire Awakened/Tepes Zero form, Shinblight
       Retsuviel.
During a talk with Dark Hellsing Kindron.
Dark Hellsing Kindron: You disobeyed my orders. You were to
observe, not kill. She says angrily.
Lucein: I removed a threat. Observation is for scientists. I'm a
blade. You don't ask a blade to observe, you use it to cut.
Dark Hellsing Kindron: You're not a blade... You're a soldier.
He walks up and his eyes glow red. MY soldier.
       Lucein smiles.
Lucein: I don't belong to you. Even if half of me is your twin
brother. He says darkly. Either send me on missions to get the
job done, or don't complain when I do your job for you.
Dark Hellsing Kindron: He grabs Lucein by the throat. Don't test
me, Lucein. I can kill you and replace you with one of my many
Alucard robots. Or even design a Hei robot... He smiles. Now
there's a fun idea. I'll have to go work on that. He says as he
       releases his grip on Lucein.
Kindron:You didn't do what I told you to do. I don’t pay you to
       improvise.
Lucein: You don’t pay me. You deploy me. Like a virus. Like a
curse. He says with a smile.
Kindron: Then act like one. Controlled. Precise... Not picky
about who you kill. He says sarcastically.
Lucein: He smiles and steps closer. I do. And you complain when
I do. He says sinisterly. If I don't kill enough people, you
call me soft. If I kill too many, you call me ruthless. Which is
it, brother? I grow tired of your games. He says with a glare.
       During a fight.
Lucein releases wires from his wrist device under his jacket,
and catches an enemy with them. The enemy struggles but cannot
       escape Lucein's wire lines.
Enemy: I know all about how Hei Darkfire fights! You can't
eletrocute me! I'm imm- He says before being cut off by Lucein
shooting him in the head and blasting his head open thanks to
his revolver. The body falls to the ground, and rots away as the
effect of the revolver's special dark energy bullets cause the
body to rapidly age until it dies and rots away.
Lucein retracts his wire line with a smile.
Lucein: I still have guns to shoot you with. He says jokingly.
During a talk with Dark Hellsing Seras Victoria.
Seras: They said this power would make me stronger. All I feel
       is… hollow. She says softly.
Lucein: That’s the point. Kindron doesn’t build warriors. He
builds weapons. And weapons don’t cry. He says to Seras.
Seras: Do you? She asks curiously.
Lucein: He chuckles. I snuffed out my emotions long ago... He
then thinks. But maybe that's the Hei side talking. He says
       jokingly.
"I didn't know how my twin brother fused with Alucard... Only
that they are now fused permanently into one being. He embodies
the most dangerous parts of the two most dangerous vampires
alive. He's annoying, but very useful." - Dark Hellsing Kindron
       about Lucein
"The hell kinds of guns are those?! His pistol shoots black
holes?! What kind of weapon does that?! And apparently his
weapons are all different as well!" - An enemy when they saw
Lucein's pistol, Black Singularity, firing bullets that exploded
       into small singularities.
"Do you even know how to listen to my orders, Lucein? Integra
listens to me, which means you should too. Not only is she your
master, but I am your brother." - Dark Hellsing Kindron to
       Lucein.
"Lucein Enkard is my opposite. I gained Alucard's powers, and
became a hybrid of the two, but Lucein is more of an Alucard who
gained Hei's power. And while I maintained myself when I fused
Alucard to my being, Lucein actually is a fusion of the me and
the Alucard from the Dark Hellsing world. He is more Alucard
than me, and I am more me than Alucard. It doesn't help that the
Hei of the Dark Hellsing world is one that was a human turned
vampire with magic based alchemy skills. We are like mirror
reflections. He's dangerous. And I think one day I'm going to
have to fight him... And I don't think I can beat him alone." -
       Hei Hellsing-Darkfire about Lucein
Name: Lucein Enkard (Dark Hellsing Version)
       Title: The Crimson Revenant
       Age: Unknown
Species: Vampire (Mixed Darkfire and Tepes Family powers)
       Gender: Male
       Hunter Group/Team: Dark Hellsing
       Customized Guns:
       - Crimson Testament (Custom Lever Action Rifle): Lever-action
rifles are a classic firearm design, originally developed in the
mid-19th century and widely used in both hunting and frontier
combat. These rifles operate using a mechanical lever located
beneath the trigger guard, which cycles the action, ejects spent
cartridges, and chambers a new round. The design is known for
its reliability and speed, especially in close- to mid-range
engagements. Most lever-action rifles use tubular magazines,
which are loaded from the front and allow for multiple rounds to
be fired before reloading. The addition of a scope enhances the
rifle’s accuracy at longer distances, though lever-actions
traditionally excel in fast, instinctive shooting rather than
precision marksmanship. These rifles are typically chambered in
medium-power cartridges, offering a balance between stopping
power and manageable recoil. While lever-action rifles are
strong-grade weapons and can be customized with modern materials
and optics, they do have limitations. The tubular magazine
design can restrict the use of pointed bullets due to safety
concerns, and the lever mechanism can be slower to operate
compared to semi-automatic rifles. Lever-actions also require
more deliberate movement to cycle the action, which can be a
disadvantage in rapid-fire scenarios. However, with proper
technique and training, these rifles can be wielded with
impressive speed and accuracy, especially in styles that
emphasize mobility and quick target acquisition. Lever-action
rifles are often favored for their ruggedness, historical
appeal, and versatility across different environments. Still,
they can be outmatched by higher-capacity or faster-firing
weapons depending on the situation and any enhancements like
supernatural modifications. And like all firearms, they are
subject to mechanical wear, environmental conditions, and
vulnerabilities such as overheating or jamming under stress.
Also, rifles can be manipulated by supernatural powers that
manipulate the metal in the rifle, such as earth manipulation or
magnetic manipulation. And depending on the ammo, there are a
number of bullets that may or may not carry additional risks,
such as high caliber bullets having much higher recoil, which
users have to account for. For Lucein, his rifle uses high
caliber rifle shells that are custom made to be stronger than
any normal rifle rounds. His rifle is made of a tough material,
and fires its custom shells with the force of anti-tank rifles.
Also, his rifle's shells are also infused with dark energy,
which split space-time through gravity manipulation enchantments
in order to pierce through even the toughest armors. These
shells hold special infusions of energy, and are designed
specifically for taking out strong supernaturals, as long as
they are vulnerable to space-time splitting (which almost all
       are).
       - Crimson Testament Rifle Customization and Bullets:
Lever-action rifles are traditionally known for their mechanical
reliability and rapid cycling, but this particular rifle,
custom-forged for Lucein, transcends conventional weaponry.
Built on the frame of a reinforced anti-materiel platform, the
rifle fires with the force of an anti-tank round, its recoil so
immense that only beings with enhanced strength or supernatural
resilience can wield it without shattering bone. The weapon is
fitted with a precision scope calibrated for both daylight and
nocturnal vision, allowing for pinpoint accuracy across vast
distances, even through fog, shadow, or arcane interference. The
lever mechanism has been modified for high-speed cycling,
enabling Lucein to fire six devastating rounds in rapid
succession, each one capable of altering the course of battle
with a single pull. The rifle’s true power lies in its
ammunition, six custom-forged cartridges infused with dark
energy harvested from collapsed dimensional rifts. Each bullet
is laced with silver, making it lethal to vampires, werewolves,
and other silver-sensitive entities. But the silver is merely
the surface layer. Beneath it lies a core of gravitationally
warped matter, bound by occult sigils and quantum stitching.
When fired, these rounds do not merely pierce, but they split
spacetime at a fundamental level, creating micro-fractures in
reality that allow the bullet to bypass conventional armor,
magical wards, and even temporal shielding. And thanks to the
design of the rifle, he can reload it instantly, as the rifel
has sigils that turn back time on the rifle when it is empty to
a time when it was fully loaded, allowing Lucein to fire
repeatedly, and reload instantly to continue firing. Despite its
immense power, the rifle is not without limitations. Its
six-shot capacity demands precision and restraint, and the dark
energy within the bullets can destabilize if mishandled or
exposed to certain frequencies. The weapon’s metal frame, while
reinforced with runic etchings and vampiric bloodsteel, remains
vulnerable to extreme heat, magnetic disruption, or dimensional
collapse. Still, in the hands of Lucein Enkard, a fusion of
vampiric instinct and assassin discipline, the rifle becomes
more than a tool. It is an extension of himself, and he is able
to take out enemies close or far away with this rifle. However,
while strong, the bullets can still be dodged by fast enough
opponents, or opponents can find other creative ways to avoid
the bullets. Because of their ability to split space-time,
simple blocking the bullets is not enough, but they can still be
       dodged.
       - Black Singularity (Custom Pistol): Pistols are compact,
handheld firearms designed for close-range combat and quick-draw
scenarios. Most modern pistols are semi-automatic, meaning they
use the energy from each fired round to cycle the action and
chamber the next bullet, allowing for rapid follow-up shots
without manual reloading between each shot. These weapons are
typically chambered in calibers ranging from low-recoil rounds
like .22 LR to high-stopping power cartridges like .45 ACP,
depending on the intended use. Pistols are favored for their
portability, concealability, and ease of maneuvering in tight
spaces, making them ideal for sidearms or backup weapons. Their
design often includes ergonomic grips, safety mechanisms, and
customizable features such as threaded barrels, laser sights, or
extended magazines. And depending on the weapon, there are
plenty of ways to customize pistols. Some examples could include
changing how fast the pistol fires, or changing the caliber of
the bullets used. And thanks to their size often being smaller
than rifles, some pistols can be wielding alongside other
weapons, or some can even dual wield pistols. While pistols are
strong-grade weapons in terms of versatility and speed, they do
have limitations. Their shorter barrels reduce accuracy and
effective range compared to rifles, and their lower magazine
capacity can be a disadvantage in prolonged firefights. Pistols
also require more precision and control to be used effectively,
especially under stress, as recoil and muzzle rise can affect
shot placement. However, with proper training and technique,
pistols can be wielded with deadly efficiency, especially in
styles that emphasize agility, stealth, or dual-wielding
tactics. Pistols are often used in specialized combat styles,
such as close-quarters marksmanship or acrobatic gunplay, and
can be enhanced with supernatural or technological modifications
to increase their lethality. Still, they can be outmatched by
heavier weapons depending on the situation, and like all
firearms, they are vulnerable to environmental wear,
overheating, or jamming. Their metal components also make them
susceptible to magnetic or electrical interference in certain
combat scenarios. Also, depending on the modifications, some
pistols may have certain weaknesses others don't, such as those
with higher caliber bullets will have more recoil and less
firing rate than those with lower caliber bullets. For Lucein's
pistol, his pistol is a heavy and powerful gun that fires
powerful shots. The bullets themselves create small
singularities, which engulf an area and then compress everything
within into a single point, which destroys almost anything
       caught in it.
       - Black Singularity Customization and Bullets: Forged and
infused with dark energy, this high-caliber pistol channels dark
energy into every round it fires and each bullet is infused with
dark energy for one specific purpose. Its frame is reinforced
with obsidian alloy and extremely powerful steel, etched with
crimson runes that glow faintly when the weapon is active. The
grip is molded for Lucein’s hand alone, and the barrel is lined
with micro-channeling conduits that stabilize the volatile
energy within each shot. As it looks, it is a hand cannon,
designed to fire high intensity shots. Each bullet fired from
Black Singularity is a condensed sphere of dark energy,
engineered to detonate into a miniature singularity upon impact.
These singularities have a limited radius, but within that
space, they exert immense gravitational force which pulls in
anything within the range of the singularity's expansion. And if
multiple shots are shot and struck together, they can combine
their singularities to form an even bigger singularity that will
be more likely to consume whatever is near it. Targets struck by
these rounds are not just wounded, their parts are pulled into a
singularity where the parts engulfed are ripped from the person.
And if the person cannot be pierced or ripped apart, the
singularity will consume the entire person (meaning that this
weapon actually can completely consume those who are
"invulnerable." The pistol does not require silver or elemental
enhancements, as its destructive power bypasses conventional
weaknesses. What is pulled in is compressed to a single point,
and is never seen again. Despite its overwhelming power though,
Black Singularity is not without risk. The singularities it
creates are unstable, and if fired too close to allies or
volatile terrain, they can cause unintended collapse, or could
even be used against Lucein himself if he is too close to the
shots when they impact. The temporal loop, while flawless in
execution, is vulnerable to those who might be able to negate
its temporal functions. Also, opponents may not be able to block
these shots, but they can actually still dodge them. As long as
they are not hit by the bullets or the singularities, they are
not pulled in. As long as the opponent doesn't get too close to
the singularities (It would require the opponent to be touching
them), they won't be affected by them. The gravity of the
singularies is only intense where the singularities are, and
outside of the area of where the singularities are physically
present, there are no gravitational effects (meaning opponents
outside of the singularity won't be affected).
       - Oblivion Creed (Custom Revolver): Revolvers are mechanically
operated handguns that use a rotating cylinder to hold multiple
rounds, typically six, though some models carry more. Each pull
of the trigger rotates the cylinder, aligning a fresh cartridge
with the barrel and firing mechanism. This design, dating back
to the early 19th century, is known for its simplicity,
reliability, and ruggedness. Revolvers are often chambered in
powerful calibers like .357 Magnum or .44 Special, offering high
stopping power in a compact frame. Unlike semi-automatic
pistols, revolvers do not rely on recoil or gas systems to cycle
the action, which makes them less prone to jamming and more
dependable in harsh conditions. They are also easier to
maintain, with fewer moving parts and a straightforward loading
process using speedloaders or moon clips. However, revolvers do
have limitations. Their lower ammunition capacity and slower
reload speed can be a disadvantage in prolonged engagements, and
their bulkier frame may reduce concealability compared to modern
pistols. Revolvers also require more deliberate trigger
discipline, especially in double-action mode, where the trigger
pull is heavier and longer. Despite these drawbacks, revolvers
can be wielded with deadly precision, especially in styles that
emphasize accuracy, timing, and psychological intimidation. They
are often favored in duelist traditions, bounty hunter
archetypes, or supernatural settings where reliability and raw
power matter more than rate of fire. Revolvers can be customized
with engraved barrels, weighted grips, or elemental
enhancements, and are especially suited for characters who value
tradition, control, and symbolic presence. Still, they can be
outmatched by faster-firing weapons depending on the situation,
and like all metal-based firearms, they are vulnerable to
extreme temperatures, magnetic fields, or arcane interference.
And of course, depending on the revolver, some are better
designed for specific functions. For example, a revolver with
higher caliber bullets will have far more stopping power, but
won't be able to be fired as fast. Also, revolvers are usually
only effective up to a certain distance. Depending on any
customizations, some revolvers may have certain other weaknesses
       as well.
       - Oblivion Creed Customization and Bullets: Where holy weapons
burn away the wicked with holy power, Oblivion Creed is the
opposite of normal holy weapons. This revolver is the antithesis
of sanctity, that is designed to destroy anything it is fired
on. Its frame is constructed from tempered black steel,
reinforced with alloys designed to harness black energy. The
barrel is longer and heavier than standard revolvers, designed
to channel high-caliber rounds with brutal precision. Every
detail of the weapon speaks to its purpose: to pierce, infect,
and erase. The bullets fired from Oblivion Creed are infused
with temporal dark energy, engineered to fast-forward the
timeline of whatever they strike. Upon impact, the round
initiates a rotting effect, aging the target forward in time
until the body literally rots away completely. This effect
starts at the point of impact of the bullet, and the dark energy
radiates is absorbed by the body or the object that this gun is
fired on. The effect spreads outward from the point of impact,
carried by residual dark energy that clings to the object or
person that is shot. For those shot with this weapon, the dark
energy rots away the body or object, and the effect spreads
through the dark energy and the body's response to the rotting.
What starts from the point of impact will soon spread through
the whole body. Unlike Black Singularity, which consumes through
gravitational collapse, Oblivion Creed destroys through
inevitability. It does not need to engulf its prey, because it
simply ensures they reach their end no matter how long it takes.
The revolver’s rounds are heavier, louder, and more punishing,
designed to punch through supernatural defenses and initiate
decay from within. While this gun doesn't use special silver
bullets, this gun actually is far more dangerous to not just
supernaturals, but any being that may be vulnerable to time. Any
being or object can eventually rot away, and these bullets take
advantage of that. If shot by one of these bullets, the only way
to keep the effect from spreading is to amputate the part of the
body affected, so that the effect does not spread. However, as
one might guess, these bullets can still be dodged, and as long
as the opponent is not hit by the bullets, they will not suffer
the effects of the bullet. Also, these bullets are not affective
on beings who are not affected by time, such as deities that
aren't affected by time (like Toranoraos or Xeles). Lastly,
these bullets are extremely dangerous to both Lucein's allies
and enemies, so Lucein has to be careful who he shoots these at
so that they don't hit an ally.
       - Crimson Testament, Black Singularity, and Oblivion Creed
Weapon Design: Temporal Rewind: Bound into the core of Crimson
Testament, Black Singularity, and Oblivion Creed is a singular
sigil engraving, which is an ancient dark energy sigil that
manipulates time itself. This power, etched into the heart of
each weapon with infusion of dark energy and sealed by Lucein
Enkard’s own essence, allows the firearm to defy the laws of
causality. When the final round is fired and the chamber doesn't
have any ammo left, the sigil activates, rewinding the weapon’s
timeline to the exact moment it was last fully loaded. The
effect is instantaneous, silent, and seamless, and requires no
input from Lucein, almost as though the weapons have the will of
their own to always have ammo to fire. This temporal loop is not
a mechanical reload, nor a magical refill. It is a full
chronological reset of the weapon’s state, bypassing physical
laws and memory alike. The bullets are not conjured anew, they
are the same bullets, replicated from the point backward in
time. These weapons all have this infusion and forging, and are
able to endlessly turn back time on themselves. This skill makes
it so that Lucein does not have to ever reload his weapons, and
can endlessly fire his weapons as he desires. By doing this,
Lucein doesn't have to worry about keeping ammo on him, and the
only time he has to reload, is if he were to use different ammo
(which he rarely ever does). Because of this mechanism, Lucein
isn't vulnerable when reloading, because he never has to reload
his weapons. The weapons have no limits to how many times they
can be reloaded, as long as Lucein himself is alive, and the
weapons are still bound to him. However, while a useful skill,
this portion of the power only applies to the ammo, and this
skill only works on rewinding to the last time the weapon was
loaded (meaning it won't change ammo, but will refill the
chamber with the last ammo fired from the gun). Each weapon has
its own state that it reads, and that state is returned to when
this ability is used. But this can be negated by those with the
ability to manipulate time. If they can prevent the weapon from
rewinding time, either by damaging the core of the weapon where
the temporal sigils are stored, or destroy the weapon entirely,
       this rewind may not work.
       - Crimson Testament, Black Singularity, and Oblivion Creed
Weapon Design: Damage Rewind: Crimson Testament, Black
Singularity, and Oblivion Creed's temporal rewind has another,
unintended effect on the weapons that grants them another power.
This dark energy engraving does not just reload the weapon when
it rewinds the state, but it rewinds the weapon back to the
point when it was last loaded. Because this turns back time on
the weapon back to the time when the weapon was fully
functional, it negates any damage done to the weapon when the
temporal rewind rewinds the state of the weapon. This activates
only when the temporal rewind is triggered to reload the gun,
and brings the entire weapon back to the state it was in when
the gun was fully loaded. That means these weapons are able to
reverse any damage done to them since the last reload the guns
had their temporal rewind with, which gives the weapons their
own power of regeneration through temporal regeneration. The
weapon becomes, once again, the instrument it was at the moment
of readiness. The enchantment is so precise that even
microscopic fractures in the firing chamber are restored,
preventing misfires or catastrophic failures in future
engagements (as long as the weapon didn't have the issue when it
was first loaded). However, the sigil’s power is conditional. It
cannot restore damage to the weapon’s core, since the dark
energy housing where the sigils themselves reside is what
controls this rewind. If this central matrix is compromised, the
restoration fails, and the weapon will not be able to do the
temporal rewind, and could even cause a dangerous space-time
event if guns try to use their temporal rewind with a damaged
core. Each weapon has its own state that it reads, and that
state is returned to when this ability is used. But, like the
initial temporal rewind that causes this effect, this can be
negated by those with the ability to manipulate time. If they
can prevent the weapon from rewinding time, either by damaging
the core of the weapon where the temporal sigils are stored, or
destroy the weapon entirely, this rewind may not work, and
damage done to the weapons will not be able to be turned back.
Also, this skill only works when the guns use their temporal
rewind to reload, and cannot use this skill simply to regenerate
the guns. If the gun isn't emptied, the temporal rewind will not
trigger, and the gun will not revert back to its earlier state
       (which leaves it vulnerable).
       Other Weapons:
       - Seidenzan and Shikoen (Magic Blade Katanas): These are Hei's
swords that he used to wield, after he was trained in a dual
wielding sword style, which are now wielded by Lucein. These
swords are two katanas that Lucein can now wield, each with
their own abilities. Shikoen is a sword of darkness, which is a
magic katana that harnesses the standard Darkfire black flames.
By channeling his elemental power into the blade, the sword is
able to generate black hellfire, which is one of Lucein's main
elementals. Using this, Lucein is able to do things like
generating fire waves to melt objects, super-heat wounds that he
stabs with the sword, or can even fire slashing waves of
concentrated dark flames that can even slice through certain
armors and shields. And just like Lucein's normal black
hellfire, the black hellfire is able to consume other flames as
well. Seidenzan, on the flip side, is able to harness Lucein's
divine lightning which uses Lucein's positive spirit energy
combined with his lightning magic. By doing this, Lucein to
channel his divine lightning through the blade's power, in which
the blade uses highly condensed lightning vibrating at ultrahigh
frequencies to enhance the cutting power of the blade to the
point that it is able to slice through metal with ease. By using
Seidenzan and his holy lightning, Lucein is also able to
interrupt the flow of nerves in the area he stabs, doing damage
to the nerves and interrupting the nerve's abilities to send
electrical signals. When used, this makes movement of the part
of the body Lucein stabs extremely difficult, and Lucein is able
to use this lightning in battle to do things like electrocute
opponents upon stabbing them, create piercing lightning attacks
that can pierce stronger materials, or fire slashing waves of
concentrated lightning. These two weapons are very useful in
combat, even though Lucein doesn't use them much since he
usually prefers either guns or knives depending on the
situation. However, Lucein does still have these swords, and can
use them at any time. These two swords, including their special
abilities, can still be dodged, and certain abilities will only
affect someone if the attacks actually land (for example,
someone's nerves won't be interrupted if they dodge Seidenzan
and aren't hit by the sword's lightning or the flames of Shikoen
won't hurt an opponent if they avoid the flames and won't be
burned by the flames if they avoid the flames). And if an
opponent can negate the magic of these weapons, they can prevent
Lucein from being able to use these weapon's special skills.
Other than that, the weapons are still katanas, and still have
the same weaknesses as normal katanas. These blades, if broken,
will be unable to be able to use their special abilities, and
the blades elements can still be countered like normal elements,
as well as the divine/demonic aspect of the elements can be
       countered as well.
       - Hei's Combat Daggers: Lucein has a number of the
knives/daggers he always carries when in his assassin outfit,
which are the same kinds of daggers Hei used. He keeps a number
of these on hand, and usually uses specially enhanced knives.
His daggers are usually enhanced with special runes that are
designed to negate regeneration of opponents he uses the knives
on, though some may also be iron or normal metal, depending on
what Hei is fighting and what kind of knife he needs. These
daggers are short range weapons, which are designed for stabbing
opponents up close, or using them for assassination missions as
well as parrying attacks from other bladed weapons. Lucein does
has certain other variations of his knives, such as magic
knives, or knives with certain other aspects made of special
materials. He can attach these to his metal wires that are
connected to his wrist devices, making a sort of rope spear out
of his wires and daggers that are usually connected to a metal
line that Lucein is not only able to use to spear opponents, but
can run his holy lightning through these lines to electrocute
opponents from a distance if the wire or knive makes contact
with an opponent. These daggers are usually black in nature, and
shaped like a tuning fork with a space in between the blades.
This space has a few advantages, such as being able to trap, and
even snap enemy weapons with enough strength in close combat as
the space in between is designed to put pressure on blades that
get caught between the blades when Lucein twists his blade to
the side. All of these daggers that Lucein does have are all
suited most for close combat, with his wires and dagger
attachment being good for medium range, and these are the
weapons Lucein is very skilled with thanks to his Hei side, even
though Lucein usually defaults to using guns first. However,
when it comes to certain knives that have special properties, he
has to wield these with gloves so he isn't affected by the
knives, and if the knives are turned on him, he can also be hurt
by them. These are also close range weapons, and this means that
aside from his wire attachments, Lucein can't use these to
attack at long range unless he throws them. And of course, these
knives can still be defended against like any other bladed
weapon, if one can account for Lucein's vampire strength and
       speed.
       - Grapple Devices and Wire Lines: Just like what most expect of
someone with Hei's skill and powers, Lucein has special grapple
devices and wire lines that he uses in battle that he wields to
battle his enemies. He has two grapple devices, one on each
wrist hidden under his jacket, which shoot out wire lines that
he can use in battle, even controlling them with his
electricity/magnetic manipulation. In addition to the lines in
the grapple devices, he also has wire lines connected to his
belt, which can be used as well. Lucein is usually pretty
prepared with these lines, having multiple lines and can even
fire out multiple lines at once from these devices that the
lines are contained in when not in use (though he usually only
does this with one line). Lucein is able to use these lines to
trap or tangle opponents, and can do a variety of things using
them. For example, Lucein can do things like pulling an arm or
leg off that he's trapped, or he could do something like run an
electric current through his wire line or steel thread to
electrocute opponents he's trapped, which are basic skills he
utilizes when using these lines in combat. And of course, Lucein
can also use these to get around by firing them at things like
structures or trees to swing around when he's not doing things
like using his vampire wings to fly. While the wire lines are
clearly visible (usually), they are easy to lose track of, and
sometimes these lines can be hard to see at times. Lucein has
even been able to break someone's neck with these wire lines
after wrapping them around someone's neck, which is another way
he uses these wire lines. Lucein has Hei's mastery of these
lines, and can also attach his combat knives to these lines to
essentially utilize a rope spear type attack by throwing his
knives with these lines attached. Typically, these are very
difficult to break, as they are made out of a metallic wire
which is designed to support the weight and strength Lucein
holds. However, that doesn't mean these wires are unbreakable,
as some stronger opponents could essentially break these,
usually with strong bladed weapon attacks or just raw physical
strength if the person is stronger than the metal in the wires.
Also, these attacks used when using these lines can still be
dodged or blocked as long as one isn't hit with electricity from
       Lucein's electricity power.
       Outfit Customization:
       - Darkfire Custom Combat Clothing: When it comes to clothing,
the Darkfires have customized their clothing a lot over the
years to optimize it for battle, which has led to the clan
having many options for custom clothing. Some Darkfires do it
themselves, while others may seek out other Darkfires to do so.
When it comes to customization, there are a multitude of
factors, and depending on the materials available and the
knowledge of the Darkfire, the Darkfire can take many things
into account when customizing their outfits. For example, the
Darkfires often try to make their clothing as flexible as
possible, in which they use flexible material to not hinder
their agility and flexibility in combat. The Darkfires can
customize their clothing in multiple ways, from the material
their outfit is made of, to lining their clothes with special
materials. Some examples of materials include the steel thread
lining that Darkfires use to make their outfits bulletproof,
which is sewn into the fabric as a lining that acts as defense.
Another option is adding elemental dust to their outfits, sewing
it into the fabric as well, which allows Darkfires to store it
in a place where they can easily activate it with their aura.
The Darkfires can also make weighted clothing to help them
train, usually adding weight into the lining or making it out of
material they can manipulate to be far heavier than normal. For
the most part, Darkfires don't wear the clothes they do to be
fashionable (even if they could start a clothing line if they
wanted to), but wear the clothes they do to be functional in
combat. With all the options available, it is up to the Darkfire
to figure out how they want to customize their outfits. However,
while there are many options, not every option is optimal, and
some options may conflict. For example, flexible fabric and the
steel thread do not go well together, as the steel thread is not
flexible enough, and may hinder the flexibility of the fabric.
Also, some materials may be more difficult to put in, such as
trying to put fire resistant substances into clothing may be
difficult. This requires knowledge and adaption for the
Darkfires to create clothing, and they must often figure out how
they want their clothing before preparing it. Also, while it is
possible to prepare different outfits with different attributes,
this must be done outside of battle, as preparing custom outfits
takes materials, time and a lot of preparation. Lucein, even
though he's not necessarily a Darkfire, still customizes his
outfit thanks to his Hei side, and has Darkfire customization of
       outfits.
       - Darkfire Clothing Aspect: Weighted Clothing: Those familiar
with how Hei and Kendrix have weighted clothes will be familiar
with how some Darkfires will use weighted clothing to help them
train. This is meant to weigh down Darkfires, so that they can
adapt to the weight and eventually learn to move normally even
while wearing the weights. When they do finally adapt, they use
the weights as restraints, which hold back their true physical
abilities, or they use them to simply keep training. When
removed, the Darkfires then are able to fight unrestrained (if
they are able to remove the weighted clothing, of course), often
to the surprise of their enemies who may not expect it. Most
Darkfires will constantly wear these weights, as their adability
can be a double edged sword at times (meaning that Darkfires
adapt to the weights, but they may also adapt to the weights no
longer being there if the weights are not worn enough). When a
Darkfire needs to move without the weights, they simply need to
remove the weighted clothing. There are a few ways to prepare
this. The first, and most obvious, is to sew weights into the
clothing's fabric, which will allow the fabric to hold the
weights. The other is that some Darkfires can change the
molecular makeup of their clothing with things like earth
manipulation, making it possible for Darkfires to customize
clothing using their abilities if they have the right abilities
to do so (and Darkfires can also have other Darkfires with the
right abilities help them if they can find the right Darkfires
to help). However, the downside to this is that Darkfires will
always be hindered as long as they wear these weights, and
cannot go too long without, unless they want to risk their
adaption adapting to not having the weights. Also, it is
important to mention that the fabric cannot handle certain
heavier weights, so there is usually limits to how much weight
can be put into the fabric, even among the earth manipulation
Darkfires. This means that there is usually a top weight that
can be reached before no more weight can be added (meaning this
training hits a plateau at some point). And while this is useful
for training, enemies who know they wear weighted clothing can
stop Darkfires from removing this weighted clothing by keeping
them on the defensive in combat and not giving them time to
remove the weights in their clothing. Lucein also has a weighted
jacket, which is one of the customizations he has made. He also
has weights under his pant legs around his ankles which is
designed to help train his speed and agility.
       - Darkfire Clothing Aspect: Weapon Pockets: As one might
imagine, clothing can have a lot of pockets that can be useful
to the Darkfires, especially the assassins in the clan. If one
wonders why some of the Darkfires wear such long jackets,
pockets in the jacket would be the reason why. When making
custom clothing, Darkfires typically like to be able to store
weapons on their person (usually depending on the Darkfire). So
when keeping this in mind, many Darkfires often want to have the
right amount of pockets to have all of their stuff. This is
especially important among the assassins in the clan, and those
that like to keep small weapons on them. These pockets can store
things like weapons, dust crystals, or many other things. This
depends on the Darkfire and their particular clothing, as some
have different preferences when it comes to where they store
their weapons, and some can get very creative. For example, some
Darkfires may hide small knives in their socks, and some female
Darkfires have been known to wear dresses while strapping
weapons to their thighs for emergencies. And of course, there
are also Darkfires who hide weapons up their sleeves, sliding
them out when they need to attack someone. Depending on the
creativity of the Darkfires, they can handle this in a variety
of ways, and depending on the outfit, many Darkfires will often
have outfits with many pockets to store the things they wish to
carry on them. Of course, there is limits to how much stuff one
can carry on them, even among the Darkfires. If they carry too
much on them, they will add additional weight to their clothing,
or they may hinder the flexibility of their clothing if too much
is stored in their clothing. While this can be somewhat
countered by using flexible fabric to make more room in the
pockets, some make steel thread pockets for stronger pockets
instead. This depends on the Darkfire, and every choice has both
positive and negative consequences. And the form of the clothing
matters too, as certain clothing may not allow for storing
weapons (IE not wearing as much clothing means less pockets to
store things). But for the Darkfires that do not carry many
items on them, they can still choose normal clothing. Most of
Lucein's pockets are on his jacket, where he has combat knives
of many kinds (he doesn't have to store ammo because of his guns
temporal shift always reloading them). He also has some knives
in his sleeve, which he can use as well.
       - Darkfire Clothing Aspect: Flexible Clothing: This is an aspect
of Darkfire clothing, in which Darkfires almost always try to
get the most flexible outfits for combat so that they will not
be hindered in their speed and agility. This is one of the
clothing options that Darkfires have, in which many customize
their clothes for combat. Darkfires make their combat outfits
out of special material, which is developed by the clan, or
could be taken from other sources (since flexible fabric has
been used in certain clothings). When used, this makes the
outfit the Darkfires choose to customize flexible so that they
can move easily in their clothes. This makes it so that the
Darkfires do not hinder themselves by the clothes they wear. And
since there are multiple types of flexible fabric, some of which
the Darkfires develop themselves (usually modifying known
fabrics). When worn, these fabrics allow the Darkfire to move in
any outfit they wear with this fabric, without having to
sacrifice any mobility and flexibility. As such, this makes it
so that the outfits the Darkfires wear don't hinder them, and
makes sure the Darkfire can be as comfortable as possible. This
can also be combined with other customization aspects of the
Darkfire's clothes, such as adding things like dust to the
lining of the clothes, or even adding additional lining into the
clothes. This can add additional benefits, while mostly still
keeping the flexible nature of the clothing. However, Darkfires
do need to be aware that not all linings work well with the
flexible fabric, as not all linings are as flexible. This means
that adding other linings will often reduce the flexibility of
the fabric. Also, while this fabric is flexible, it can still be
pushed to a breaking point and tear if not cared for properly.
Different types of fabric have different levels of flexibility,
and this flexibility is usually determined by the fabric itself.
And even though this sounds perfect, not all flexible fabric
will allow for all ranges of movement, as some outfits may be
restrictive depending on the outfit. And as one might imagine,
without any other linings, this outfit doesn't really do
anything for defense or attack, other than allowing the Darkfire
to move unhindered in combat (meaning they retain most of their
natural agility and flexibility when using this fabric). Lucein
also has his clothes made of flexible fabric, designed to allow
him freedom of movement. He has this more in his pants, gloves
and shirt, but has a little less of this in his jacket since his
       jacket is more for defense.
       - Darkfire Clothing Aspect: Elemental Clothing Modification:
This is another aspect of the Darkfire's clothing that they
customize depending on the Darkfire. Depending on the Darkfire,
they will often make modifications to their clothing based on
their elemental abilities. There are two ways to go about this:
Defensive or Offensive modification. For defensive modification,
Darkfires will modify their clothing so that they can more
easily defend against counter elements. They do this by
creatively adapting their clothes, usually sewing substances
into the fabric or using specific types of fabric. For example,
a water or ice user that wants to defend against fire attacks
may line their clothing with a fire resistant substance to help
them defend against fire attacks, or those vulnerable to
lightning may make their clothing out of a non-conductive
substance. For offensive modification, Darkfires will adapt
their clothing to more easily utilize their elements. For
example, a fire user may make their gloves out of a substance
known as ignition cloth that develops sparks when rubbed
together, or they may make an absorbent outfit to absorb
moisture if they are a water user, or lightning users may make
their clothing out of material that is easily able to generate
static electricity. This is the opposite of a defensive
modification, and lets users develop their outfits to work
better for them. This depends on the Darkfire and their
creativity, as there are many modifications one can make,
whether it is for defense or offense. Whether it's using a known
method to modify their clothing, or using a unique method,
Darkfires can modify their clothing in a multitude of ways
depending on the stuff they have access to, and there nothing
saying Darkfires cannot modify more than one outfit (Such as
some may have specific outfits outfitted with specific elements
in mind, but modify others with different elements in mind).
There is the option of sewing dust powder or crystals into the
outfit as well (See Dust Sewn Outfits for more info). The
downside is that this means Darkfires actively choose specific
ways to modify their clothing, and this does take preparation
outside of battle. While it can be changed, Darkfires have to
change their outfits outside of battle, since this takes careful
planning and preparation. Lucein has temperature regulated
outfits, designed to not burst into flames when he uses his
black hellfire. He also makes sure the outfits can conduct
electricity, so that he can use his lightning magic.
       - Darkfire Clothing Aspect: Bulletproof Steel Thread Lining:
This is another option among members of the Darkfire family,
mostly used among those that become assassins or have assassin
training. Many Darkfires can have custom clothing made using a
special steel thread that is developed by the clan (made mostly
among the earth user Darkfires who use their power to change
metal into the right form to make this thread). While some use
the steel thread for attack power, the main use of this thread
is that it is sewn into clothes, which adds a defensive layer to
the clothes that this is sewn into. One of the main appeals to
this is that, when wearing this, Darkfires don't have to wear
heavy armor over their clothes, and this allows them to maintain
proper mobility in combat (thus not hindering their combat speed
and agility). This defensive layer uses the steel thread to help
block attacks, making it able to dampen blows that the Darkfire
may take in battle. While there are different levels of this,
this defensive enhancement of clothes is great for defense
without being too restrictive in movement. The other advantage
to this is that outfits with this steel thread lining are
bullet-proof, which is another of the major appeals of wearing
clothing with this lining in it. For the most part, this is
another case of the Darkfire's preference of functionality over
fashion. This works best usually in long jackets and cloaks,
where some Darkfires (most notably those like Kindron, Hei, and
Kendrix) will wear longer clothing to cover themselves and allow
the defensive nature of their cloaks to protect as much of their
body as possible. Different Darkfires have different
preferences, so depending on the amount of steel thread used,
the exact amount of defense added is different depending on the
Darkfire. However, while useful, Darkfires do have to keep in
mind that this thread is not perfect defense, and even with
options like armor and defense enchantment among magic users,
the defense can still be broken. Typically, this is broken by
stronger attacks that can overpower the steel thread, or by
strong projectile attacks that may be too strong for the steel
thread to protect from. While this does protect the user
somewhat, it doesn't completely protect them as much as heavy
armor would (but heavy armor would sacrifice movement and
agility for defense). For Lucein, his jacket is the main
enhancement of his clothes that uses this. His jacket is bullet
proof, though he does put a little in the rest of his clothing
which is designed to help add a little resistance if someone
cuts his clothing. However, only his jacket is bullet proof, and
has strong enough defense to resist attacks.
       - Darkfire Clothing Aspect: Dust-Sewn Clothing: Many Darkfires
and Branwen users utilize dust powder/crystals, made using aura,
in combat to generate elemental energy. And there is one trick
that has been passed along among aura users for a very long
time: One can store dust in their clothing easily by sewing it
into their clothing. As such, aura users and others who use dust
can learn to sew dust into their outfits, which allows them to
keep the dust for battle. After careful preparation, the dust
can be sewn into the clothing, and the clothing will not look
any different from how it did before. However, the difference is
that now, when a Darkfire activates the dust in their clothing,
their clothing will light up with dust as they utilize the
elemental energy. This may be as simple as just normal lighting
up, or some Darkfires may sew certain patterns into their
clothes to make their clothing look better when it lights up
with the energy of their dust. This is great for the aura users,
and for those that use dust, since it lets them secretly keep
dust on them without anyone being able to take it from them.
Darkfires especially can utilize this in battle, which allows
them to use dust to generate quick elemental energy that they
can then use or absorb, making it great for their elemental
power. This is dependent on the Darkfire, and how the Darkfire
handles the customization of their clothing. Since the Darkfires
typically customize their clothing, this is a great option that
doesn't hinder other aspects of the clothing like flexibility of
certain fabrics, or the steel thread of certain outfits.
However, the downside to this is that only so much dust can be
sewn into one's clothes, so there is a limit to how much dust
one carry on them. Also, this dust does not replenish itself
when used, so eventually Darkfires will run out of dust and have
to sew more into their clothes. This is a lengthy process that
requires time, preparation, and a lot of dust. As such, this can
only be sewn in outside of battle, and Darkfires must be careful
about when to use or not use the dust hidden within their
clothes. The dust still has the same weaknesses as well, such as
fire dust being weak against other weaknesses of fire. Lucein
weaves fire and lightning dust into his clothes, which is
designed to allow him to use them if he is low on elemental
       energy.
       Familiars:
       - The Kuroen Wolves: Many are familiar with Alucard's hellhounds
that act as his familiars and as an extension of himself, and
Hei Darkfire's Darkfire power to create elemental familiars.
These wolves are a combination of those two aspects, mixed into
one. Alucard's hellhounds being actual familiars, made combining
this with Hei's elemental familiar creation able to create a new
kind of familiar. These wolves are made of black hellfire, and
are demonic wolf spirit familiars that utilize Lucein's power.
These wolves are as much an extension of Lucein as Alucard's
hellhounds were extensions of him, and Lucein is able to summon
them forth at will using Hei's elemental familiar powers. These
wolves act as Lucein's companions, and can fight on his behalf.
And unlike Hei's elemental familiars, these familiars are able
to act independently and strategize with intelligence that might
surprise some. These familiars are powered by black hellfire,
and are able to use this in combat to attack enemies. This black
hellfire allows them to burn and consume things with their
flames, and they can fire the black hellfire as projectile
attacks. These spirits are created and bonded to Lucein, and are
a part of him. This means that in addition to them being able to
attack and act independently, they are still connected to
Lucein, and Lucein can process information through the wolves'
senses as well. And while Lucein can summon these wolves in his
normal form, it's when he releases his restraints and uses a
form similar to Alucard's fused form with his familiars that
this really shines. In this form, Lucein becomes one with his
familiars, and the wolves attack as part of Lucein. In this
semi-released form, Lucein is able to manifest parts of himself
through the familiars, such as manifesting his arm and gun
through a familiar to shoot an enemy, or manifesting parts of
his body to create more familiars. These are his main familiars,
and are the mutations of Alucard's hellhounds. These are demonic
spirits though, and have the weaknesses of demonic spirits. For
example, strong holy power can counter these wolves. Also, these
wolves are made of black hellfire, so counters to this could
include ice manipulation (though it has to be very cold in order
to counter the high temperature of the black hellfire). While
Lucein can summon as many of these as his power can handle, he
does eventually run out of energy to summon these wolves if he
uses too much energy (which means running him out of energy will
make it so he can't summon anymore of these familiars).
