       for other questionable decisions they'd made, and what I found
       revolted me. I couldn't be part of that system that was
       responsible for some pretty horrible things. But I wasn't about
       to become like Maria, and perpetuate that cycle of violence. If
       I was going to fight for something, I was going to define it for
       myself... Define the kind of world I want to create. A world
       where people protect each other, and can put aside their
       differences to help each other. And that's why I started the
       Covenant Tide Pirates. I'm lucky that I've had some good friends
       I've made along the way."
