you had it."
"Let's see how well you enjoy my witch's magic. I was trained by
my grandmother, the best witch in the business."
"Perhaps I should torture you for a while... It might kill some
time, and your screams will be fun to listen to."
"I was abandoned. Forgotten. All because baby sister (Cress)
needed to be mommy and daddy's favorite."
"That's cute, sister... Trained by a fear demon (Barbas)? I
never needed power like that to take advantage of people's
fears."
When Lucifer met Azara after she was captured by Lucifer.
Lucifer: Tell me, what is it you desire? He says, using his
power to see desires in people.
Azara tries to resist, but falls into a trance as she talks.
Azara: I want... She says, hesitating. I want to kill my sister.
Cress was the favorite. My parents forgot about me after she was
born. And I want revenge on her. Not only for that, but she is
the reason they died... They died protecting her, not even
giving a second thought about me. She says, still in a trance
but hesitating now and then from trying to fight it.
Lucifer: Oh? I didn't see that coming. He says jokingly as he
lets Azara snap out of her trance. Well, it sounds like you have
a lot to gain by joining me... He says with a smile. He then
gets serious for a moment. With Crowley, it doesn't surprise me
that he would play favorites. But your mother. I highly doubt
she intentionally ignored you.
Azara: She didn't... She says, catching her breath from how
tiring trying to fight the trance she was in had been on her. My
sister always needed more support than I did. Mother just helped
her the best she could. Me becoming an afterthought probably
wasn't intentional. I was more naturally talented and was more
self-sufficient. She says, as though trying to convince herself
as much as Lucifer.
"I'm sorry... I tried to save your sister. But by the time I got
to her, Lucifer had already twisted her mind, amplifying her
desires. It seems a part of her resented that you were always
the favorite. She tried her best to hide it, but it seems there
was enough there for Lucifer to twist her into one of his
