"I am Kuriel. God of Destruction.Or Demon of Destruction, if you
prefer..." - Kuriel Zechariah
"There cannot be creation without destruction."
"Muriel and I are both strong. If you cannot defeat her, then
expect to fail to defeat me."
"Maybe I'll bring disaster on you and the people you care about
if you continue to anger me."
"I don't tolerate morons... So think hard about your decision to
challenge me."
"They call me a walking natural disaster... And they're not
wrong."
"You gave it your best shot. But you losing was never a matter
of if, but when."
"Your luck has run out... Now be destroyed." - Kuriel before
killing an enemy
"I am not like my sister... I am easy to get along with as long
as you show me the proper respect."
"I hope that's not your best. Because if it is, you won't be
able to fight a cold, let alone me."
"The elements give life, and they also take it away. Creation
and destruction are two sides of the same coin."
"I will work for you for now, Kendrix Darkfire... But I have no
interest in your business ventures. So if you die, I won't shed
a tear. I do not seek your brand of evil."
"You wish to learn destruction, young man? So be it. I will help
train you. You need someone in your life who can train you
without trying to kill you. You will be my apprentice and I will
transfer my responsibility to you should something happen to
me." - Kuriel to Kaleb Darkfire (Muriel and Kendrix's son).
"I did not become a demon by choice. My sister and I became
unbalanced when she became a demon. We could not be two separate
forces... We have always both been an extension of the same
force. So I had to become a demon in order to address the
balance. But by then, irreversible damage had been done to the
world as the result of our powers no longer being in sync. My
power raised to a level that Muriel couldn't counter, and as a
result, the world suffered. As beautiful as destruction is, it
only works when working alongside creation. Without creation,
destruction simply erases everything beautiful in this world."
When he walked outside during a storm.
Kuriel: Ah... A beautiful day. He says, looking up at the storm
while rain was falling on him.
Ally: Really? It's depressing as hell. He says sarcastically.
Kuriel: You don't get it... Rain washes away the filth of this
world and provides nutrients to the plant-life, and lightning
destroys things that don't belong. Storms are pure. Nature at
it's most beautiful, when it's starting over from scratch.
Ally: What about a nice sunny day? Nature blooms new life with
sunlight.
Kuriel looks over to Ally.
Kuriel: Sunlight can also heat up and cause fires. The right
heat can destroy anything, bringing it back to nothing. Another
beautiful display of nature starting over from scratch.
Ally: Okay... I REALLY don't like you. He says sarcastically.
"He's a little easier to deal with than Muriel. At least he
holds back unless someone ticks him off. He's actually pretty
reasonable compared to most of Kendrix's people. I kind of wish
he was in charge of everything." - A demon about Kuriel
"You call yourself a god of destruction... Just like a demon to
claim to be a god." - An angel about Kuriel.
