As they separate and make their way towards the human families
that are in hiding, the Shriekers still seem focused on the
humans. However, some do change focuses from deeper in the
island to curiously track down the new presences they sense on
the island (which would be the group).

She says as she approach her group. One by one, the half bloods
attempts to usher their groups to safety, especially thanks to
Theo's Far Sight ability to guide them.

As they would try to get the families out, there would be one
lone human in the forest the group would be able to sense, who
was unconscious and with a broken leg.

Aeron immediately turn to Han. The two exchange silent nods
before Aeron runs off into the woods to help the unconscious
human.

As they got close to the human who was unconscious, a group of
Shriekers who had suppressed their presence jumps out to
surprise them with a loud screech that would not only be a
signal to the others, but also a way to disorient them (which
would show why they were named Shreikers). It wouldn't just be
Aeron, but Hans would also get jumped by a group as well since
he was fairly close with their screeches as well.
It would be revealed that the human had been laid there as a
trap to lure more people trying to rescue the human by the
Shriekers, which would show why Raiden Kindron warned them about
the Shreikers intelligence. It would also show that they could
suppress their presence when needed to help them better sneak up
on people.

Aeron roared in pain as he covers his ears. Han also screams in
pain, forcing his Shinto underworld powers to spring up as dark
nether energy spikes shoot up from the ground and try to impale
the Shrieker in the throat.

Some of the Shriekers are impaled by the spikes. In response,
the others jump into the trees, but don't take their eyes off
what they see as their next meal. However, the danger was that
other Shriekers were coming after being called.

Although staggered, Han stumbles toward Arron and the human with
the broken leg.

As the Shriekers attack again, they are suddenly attacked by the
blur of a machine in a cloak and wielding an energy scythe. As
some of the Shriekers jump back away, the robot, revealed to be
Tau, one of Omega's reploid creations, looks to them. The
Shriekers try to shriek at him, but Tau just releases a slashing
wave at the Shriekers. The Shriekers retreat, confused as to why
their attacks don't affect Tau.
Tau was one of Omega's creations, a supernatural hunter, that
Han would likely recognize as one of Omega's higher level
creations that usually stuck around Omega or around the higher
staff of Black Sun.
After chasing off the Shriekers, Tau turns to Han. Tau: You have
been successfully rescued, Organic. Omega ordered me to give
your group a hand. He says to Han. "Organics" was how he
referred to people, given the fact they were organic beings and
Tau was artificial.

Han: Um, thanks.
He says as he tries to collect himself. Meanwhile, Aeron goes
over to the injured human and pick them up.
