The Kashkara screams as it is pummeled with the energy spears.
It falls to the ground, trying to regenerate. Currently, it
couldn't get up, but it was slowly regenerating as it tried to
move again.

Elias use normal flames to try to harm the void creature,
believing that normal elements should have an effect on it.

The Kashkara screams and thrashes around as it is set on fire.
Since it was still trying to regenerate, it couldn't defend
against the fire. Eventually, the screaming and the creature's
thrashing stops as it appears to die once it had been burned
sufficiently enough.
As the Kashkara dies, a lightning strike lands in front of them,
opening a portal to the next test.

The six hybrids were startled at first but Hana brought down the
shield once they know that the monster is dead. The group then
cautiously walk through the portal, on guard for whatever is
next for them.

As they come out of the portal, they would be on the coast of an
island. At first glance, it seemed like a normal island with a
small settlement in the center. However, while humans could be
sensed hiding on the island (and them trying to suppress their
presence), there would also be a kind of void creature that
could be sensed in groups on the island as well, seemingly
hunting down humans and animals.
[b]There was nothing around them, except for a small table with
another cassette tape player labeled "Play Me."

As the tape plays, Raiden Kindron's distorted voice can be heard
again.
Tape: Congratulations on passing your first test. Here lies your
second test... On this island, there is a type of void creature
infesting the island. They are known as Shriekers. Your job is
to save the humans who have gone into hiding. At the other end
of the island, Omega is waiting to give the humans safe passage
to my domain... You all know what it means to take a life.
However, with this test, you will learn what it feels like to
save a life. Save as many humans as you can. Kill the Shriekers
if you wish, but I warn you. Their numbers often grow faster
than you can kill them. And beware of their intelligence. You
will find them to be clever hunters who are able to adapt and
strategize better than you might think... With that, the tape
ends.

Han: Damn. So our previous idea might not even work.
Genzo: So what, we're suppose to save a bunch of mortals? That's
lame.
Hana: You got a better idea?
Genzo: You want to play hero like that goody two shoes Zeus girl
(V)?
Hana: Hell no! But did you hear the tape? We'll be wasting time
and energy if we try to go after this thing!
Elias: She's right. Look, I couldn't care less about saving them
as much as everyone else here. But if we do this, we should be
able to pass and make it out in one piece.
Genzo: Fine...!

As they talk, not much changes, as what can be assumed to be
shriekers were still focused on the humans in hiding.

Elias silently bring the group over and devise a rescue plan.
Thanks to Theo's Far Sight ability, he manage to find some safe
routes for the humans in hiding along with locating Omega. Elias
plans for each of them to find the group of humans in hiding and
shepherd them to safety. Due to their abilities, they can use
the environment to their advantage. They break and go over to
the humans, each of the separately going to their own
perspective group of humans to help them out.
