"Anyone call a mercenary?" - Kane Barba (Crow Mercenaries
Version)
"Who do you need me to shoot? My trigger finger's getting
anxious."
"You want to eat me?! Eat this!" - Kane shooting out a monster
trying to eat him
"There are some things a man has to do for himself. And right
now, shooting is one of them."
"Take yourself a stance, like you mean business." - Kane
training someone to use a gun.
"You got to be prepared for anything and everything." - Kane
pulling out a weapon for an ally.
"If you're good at something, never do it for free..." - Kane
why he became a mercenary
"I hope those fire abilities didn't melt your brain, my friend."
- Kane to an enemy with fire magic who was not very tactical
"I love hunting creatures who think they're too skilled to
die... The look on their faces when I blast their brains out is
always satisfying."
"I recommend you keep that gun holstered... Shows his gun.
Unless you got a desire to be waking up in hell..."
"Yeah, I was part of that 'suicide squad.' Waller called it Task
Force X, but we all knew what we were being forced into when we
were put into Waller's little team. Most of us that went with
the team probably weren't coming back. And those that refused
Waller, definitely weren't coming back."
When Amanda Waller recruited Kane for Task Force X.
Kane smiles as he holds one of his revolvers, loading it as
Waller walks up to him.
Kane: You looking to hire me? Or looking to jail me? He says to
her without looking up at her.
Waller: What's the difference? She says, curious with no sign of
fear on her face.
He points his gun at Waller, cocking it.
Kane: One gets you more dead than the other. He says jokingly
with a smile.
Waller: Lucky for you. I'm hiring. And offering a generous sum
for your services.
Kane smiles as he spins his revolver and puts it in his holster.
Kane: I had a feeling but didn't want to assume. He says
jokingly. You government types still manage to surprise me.
Never thought you'd come to me for a job. He says to Amanda
Waller.
When Kane met someone who had heard of his skills.
Person: I heard you were a demon.
Kane: Part demon.
Person: They say you have the power to read people's fears and
kill them.
Kane chuckles. Kane: Is that what they say? It's nothing like
that. I'm just good at reading people, and I always got people
to fear me the old fashioned way. I learn to understand people,
and use their fears against them.
During a mission
ARGUS Member: Good luck.
Kane: I don't need luck. He says as he **** his revolvers.
"It was never about money with you... All you care about is
finding people you get to shoot." - An ARGUS member about Kane
"Not a lot of people can wield a revolver the way that man does.
I've seen him shoot some pretty dangerous creatures with those
things. He even has special ammo he carries designed to kill
most creatures. He carries armor piercing rounds, incendiary
rounds, liquid nitrogen rounds, and even has taser rounds. And
those are just the ones I know about. ARGUS never had to try and
control him, because with Kane, it was always business. He
didn't care who he had to kill, and Amanda Waller practically
