Dubhán Pays Vendetta a Visit

of Mount Olympus)
It had been ages since the last Dubhán had last visited Mount
Olympus. He decided to take the long way up and nimbly makes his
way. Being a lesser goat god comes with a specific benefits.
Dubhán doesn't usually make house calls to other deities but
makes an exception for Vendetta. He often makes fun of her and
smart-arses her, but he does consider her a friend. He's even
reduced how much he helps Shamala in order to maintain the peace
with Vendetta. He's known both was for a long time, but Vendetta
is his oldest acquaintance.
Once at the top of Mount Olympus, Dubhán introduces himself to
the guards and ask for audience with Vendetta. They were very
against Dubhán's unannounced visit and told him that Vendetta
wouldn't be seeing him without prior notification and
appointment.
Dubhán: An appointment? Since when did a friend of Vendetta need
an appointment to see her?
Guard: Ever since the troubles with her enemies began.
Dubhán: Of course. Of course. He says with a sigh. Dubhán then
walks away bit doesn't leave. He instead walks out of sight and
to the nearest patch of shadows. He then walks into the shadows
and straight into the main audience chamber. Dubhán: Oh, Venny?
Are you here?

As he appears in the audience chambers, a group of holy knights
surround him and hold their swords to him.
Holy Knight: Intruder! The holy knight says to Dubhán as the
other surround him.
These holy knights were like the holy knights created by Zeus
and Michael, except that Vendetta and Spyte had found them
before they were complete and managed to free them from their
magic programming control that the other knights were designed
with. After being freed and developed as the last of the holy
knights before Spyte and Vendetta shut down Zeus's holy knight
creation labs, the large groups of them had started working as
security for Olympus, as they followed Vendetta. They looked a
bit different from the other holy knights, and took on a
different appearance from Zeus's knights, but still all had one
uniform look.

Voltan was hanging out in Olympus when he heard the guards
rushing to find the intruder. Grumbling, he gets up and runs off
to see who it is. This place has security for a reason.
Whoever's the dumbass to show up is going to learn the hard way
real quick. He manage to make it where the guards surround a
man. He shuffles through to see the man with an unamused look on
his face.
Voltan: Give me one good reason why I shouldn't let these men
here toss your ass off from here.
Voltan is wearing a dark hoodie over his head though his face is
shown. Although unamused, he's actually annoyed. He promised V
that he'll help make sure things here are alright while she's
out on a date with Nightbane. Although Voltan doesn't recognize
Dubhan at first, Dubhan probably does since Voltan was the
demigod Hazeldine son of Ixchel who was with V and another
demigod during her battle against the Order and helped her
defeat them. Not to mention that he only has one eye hence the
eye patch.

Dubhán raises his hands with the holy knights surround him with
swords pointed. He maintains his human form instead of losing
his cool and going god mode. He looks about the room and guards
until Voltan speaks. It took Dubhán a hot minute while Voltan
was speaking for Dubhán to recognize him. He gets a small,
confident grin as there is someone that he can speak to and
hopefully not get ran through by the holy knights. Dubhán: I'm
surprised that you don't recognize me, lad, but of course, we
met during more stressful years so long ago. The war against the
Order of the Dragon had quite a bit going then. Plus I have been
busy trying to survive within my own pantheon so have not been
able to visit more often. Dubhán says to Voltan with a twinkle
in his eyes. He hopes that Voltan will recognize him now.

The holy knights keep their swords pointed at Dubhan, not sure
if he was friend or foe.
The head holy knight turns to Voltan. Head Knight: Shall we
expel him, or hold? He says to Voltan, seeking clarification
from Voltan about what to do next.

Voltan raise an eyebrow at Dubhan but his expression change to
something similar to annoyance as he bring his hand to his face
and pinch his nose in agitation with his pointer finger and
thumb. With a short sigh, he looks up to the guards.
Voltan: Don't expel him. I know this arrogant jackass. Everyone
back to your posts, I'll have a chat with him... alone and away
from Olympus. But if he tries anything, feel free to kick his
ass.
Those words alone tells Dubhan to not be on his f*ckery along
with what was stated before of getting a damn appointment not
being bullshit.

Dubhán keeps his hands up but gets a quizzical look when Voltan
mentions leaving Olympus. He wonders what could have happened to
cause such a high alert. Dubhán: What is going, old friend? Why
must we leave Olympus? What is with the security? When did
Olympus become a military compound instead of a happy, lavish
place?

As though in response to Voltan, the head knight motions to the
other knights. Head Knight: Stand down. He says to the other
knights.
The other knights lower their swords and step back away from
Dubhan, although they remain on guard in case they need to
fight.

Voltan doesn't say anything. He march over to Dubhan. In a swift
motion, he grabs at Dubhan's ear like a Hispanic relative
disciplining a bad kid and look back at the head knight.
Voltan: If Ven, Vinny or the gang ask, tell them I'm just
dealing with a thorn in the ass from the past and to not worry.
Meeting said pain is up to debate. I'll be back.
As he says the last line, he use his demigod powers to use earth
teleportation to a small town in Greece close by Mt Olympus.

Dubhán swats Voltan's hand away from his ear lobe. He gives
Voltan a frown with a serious look. Dubhán: Seriously, what is
going on with you? Why be so inhospitable towards an old friend?
Did I not support Vendetta's war against the Order and the
Scarlet Sisters? I know I've been annoying in the past but only
because Vendetta use to hunt monsters. Does that grant such a
greeting?
