30XX WIP: Mason Fletcher

strength to protect those who couldn't protect themselves."

there are metal bands and their fans out there who are devoted
Christians. Don't believe everything that those airheads in the

"Let me know if these jackasses keep botherin' ya, ma'am. Though
I doubt that they actually would."
~Detective Fletcher to a young woman after dealing with some
petty thugs who were harassing the civilian

"Listen up you spineless pr*ck! You think the criminals I have
to deal with out there are bad?! Keep f*cking with me and I'll
make you wish that you were dealing with Lucifer!"
~Mason to an angel who tried to use dirty tactics to make Mason
turn a blind eye. Spoiler Alert: It did not go well

Ally 1: So, what happened to Fletcher?
Ally 2: Oh, he had to take a day off.
Ally 1: Jeez, what happened to him?
Ally 2: Some goons manage to steal his angel grace.
Ally 1: What?! Is he going to be okay?
Ally 2: You should be asking that about the idiots that thought
taking his grace would make him any less dangerous. He beat the
ever living crap out of them. They were just lucky that they
didn't catch him in a bad mood.
Ally 1: Bloody hell. I hate to be one of those poor sods.
Tenrach: Oh come on, you angels are so uptight. If that wasn't
funny, then why are you smiling?
Tenrach's grin changed to something close to fear when Mason
roared at Tenrach with a extremely pissed look on his face that
would make demons sh*t bricks since that "prank" almost got him
and a few innocent people killed (think of a enraged berserker
Wolverine).
Mason: DO I LOOK LIKE I'M SMILING, JACKASS?!
Tenrach: SH*T...
"She's not a pet. She's my partner. Call her anything else
demeaning and you'll be picking up your teeth from the ground."
~Mason to a vampire thug he was arresting.
"We didn't come up with the name Blue Skulls. The civilians
started to call us that after Jane accidentally set her head on
fire and defeated a superpowered criminal. Lorenzo rolled with
it since it sounded cool at the time being."
"I know what it's like to feel hopeless. To feel weak and
powerless. You don't even have to say anything. If you want to
scream or cry your heart out, then do it until you can't
anymore. Just know that no matter how alone you feel at the
moment, there is at least someone out there who doesn't want you
to go yet."
~Mason comforting someone who was about to commit suicide.
"Yeah, I've been on Earth for a pretty long time. Hell, I was
probably there my whole life. But I didn't mind it. My time here
on this rock didn't make me weak. It made me strong both
physically and mentally. And I don't regret it at all."
