Evelyn watch Adrik leave in the shadows for a solid minute
before turning to the others. She then silently motion them to
follow her so she can escort them back to base.

Adrik had sent word to Evelyn that he would be able to meet on
Friday around 1:00 pm. He walks out of the shadows at the
appointed time and waits for Evelyn and the young woman to
arrive with the money. He hopes for the woman's sake that Evelyn
and Bratva was able to raise the money needed.

Evelyn shows up to the appointed area at least five minutes
early with the woman by her side. The woman is obviously worried
though she remain by Evelyn's side since she feels protected by
the young nephilim.

Adrik sees Evelyn and the young woman arrive in the area and
slips out of the shadows. He walks towards the two of them with
a serious yet friendly look on his face. Adrik: Greetings,
ladies. I hope that everything went well this past week and that
you have the money.

The woman gives Evelyn a brown envelope full of money. Evelyn
takes it and walks over to Adrik, handing it over to him so he
can take it.
Woman: It's all there. You can count it if you want.

Adrik takes the envelope, opens it, and quickly counts the
money. He then gives a satisfied nod. Adrik: Very well. Your
debt is now paid off. Please beware of loan sharks in the
future. He says as he stashes the money in a pocket inside of
his jacket.

Adrik gives a bow to Evelyn and then straightens up. Adrik: The
pleasure was all mine. I too appreciate that it did not come to
bloodshed. Please have good day. He says with a smile to both
ladies. Adrik: I must take my leave. I have other debts to
collect.

Woman: I feel like there's a loan shark joke in there somewhere.
Evelyn: "I am curious, though. Why work for a man like Darkov?
You would've been better working with us, or taken over the
Horde yourself."

Adrik gives a small smile at Evelyn's words. Adrik: Darkov saved
my life more than once when it comes to CIA funded Weapon X
program. Since then I have become the keeper of the lunatic
asylum. He then gets more serious. Adrik: Trust me. Since that
program and finding out what former 2nd in command was doing, I
have become 2nd in command and no one wants to see what would
happen if Darkov goes down again. There are those more insane
and twice as blood thirsty than revenge driven Darkov.
