Past RP: Evelyn Encounters Adrik

Things were supposed to be simple. Help out a young woman who's
trying to stay clean. Okay, it's not so simple. Especially since
the woman was a former prostitute of Moscow Horde. But the
Bratva are more than capable of helping out. Especially since
this young woman has so much to do in life. Who knows? Maybe she
can go back to school. Get a job. Of course, thanks to Darkov,
the Moscow Horde has been on Bratva's ass like a bunch of
desperate lions. And this young Bratva member and young woman
are the latest victims. The young man tried his hardest but was
outmatched by the human turned demon who holds the battered
Bratva at gun point while his lackeys hold the woman by the
wrists.
Demon: You two are gonna serve as examples for the Horde.
Especially that little whore over there. We're the ones truly in
charge here! Our word is law!
The kid thought his life was over until a miracle happened. And
man, it was one hell of a miracle! The demon was impaled through
the chest by divine light in form of a beam. The demon gasp in
pain and shock. Before he can even say anything, a gun was
pointed at his head and his brain was blown out from his skull.
The now lifeless body drops onto the ground and there stands
Evelyn Hérisson, a powerful nephilim of alchemy and magic. The
lackeys try to hold the woman at knife point in fear
Lackey: S-Stay back, angel girl! You don't wanna have her harmed
do ya?
Lackey 2: Dude, she's an angel! Those self-righteous pr*cks
don't care about hostages! She'll kill us all!
Evelyn snaps her fingers and two light spears impale the lackeys
through the heart with pure light while avoiding the woman.
Their grip loosen which made the woman rush over to the young
Bratva member. Evelyn silently walk over to the duo and puts her
hand up, using her angel powers to heal their wounds.
Bratva member: Thanks, Eve. I owe you one.
Woman: You know her?
Bratva: Yeah, she's my second in command. A badass nephilim of
magic.
Evelyn simply pat the member on the shoulder before helping the
duo up on their feet.
Woman: I take it that you're the silent type. Regardless,
thanks. We would've been floated in some river or worse if it
weren't for you.
Evelyn nod her head once. Her calm expression then harden when
she sense someone close by. She sharply turns around, her back
protecting the two as she glares at the hiding spot she has
sensed, gripping the gun in her hand as she points it at the
presence she sensed in the shadows. Although she cannot talk,
her eyes is more than enough to say for the erson to bring their
ass out right away.

Adrik sighs at the demons that had been used by a different
member of the Horde. He had been against the war from the get go
and knew the pure blood demons would go too far as enforcers. He
slowly makes his way into the shadows from where he was standing
and observing the demons at work. He knows that if he doesn't
confront Evelyn and the other Bratva member that Darkov would
never let it be. He walks through the shadows and out walks out
in behind Evelyn. Adrik: Like how I feel about this war, I was
against using lesser demons to do the work of stronger
nephilims. Of course, in this case our stronger members summoned
without listening. Now, you have someone who owes huge debt to
Horde after loan she took. Unless you plan to pay the $300,000
that she owes, then I recommend that you relinquish the young
woman to me and be on your way especially since you are in Horde
territory.

The trio turn their attention to Adrik who came out of the
shadows. Evelyn continues to stand her ground as she glare at
Adrik.
Bratva member: You damn blood sucking bastards! First you kill
us for no reason, your goons kidnapped an innocent woman for God
knows what and now you're bleeding money?!
Woman: N-no. It's fine.
Evelyn put a protective arm up in front of the woman and her
comrade as a sign of telling them no
Woman: Seriously, sweet pea. It's fine. turns to Adrik Look. I
don't have the money on me. I'm working on it. I have half of
the money on me right now. Just give me the end of the week, I
swear.
Evelyn doesn't trust Adrik fully despite him being somewhat
reasonable. Man, I hope he at least know sign language was what
came to mind before she communicates with Adrik using American
sign language.
Evelyn: "A huge part of me don't want to pay you due to what
your parasite of a boss has done to Bratva. Business or not.
But, I also don't want their blood to paint the streets. You
seem like a reasonable man, though. One with a brain in his
skull at least."

Adrik: That is fine. I will give you until the end of the week,
but you must have it by then or I can no longer promise that the
streets won't be your other job. He says to the young woman
after she promises to have the money by the end of the week. He
then looks to Evelyn and feels lucky that he knows sign
language. Adrik: I'll take that as compliment as I try to be
more thoughtful about situations and only resort to violence as
a means of defense. Now, if you wish to help the young woman
then you could help her earn the rest of the money she owes for
the loan.

Woman: Alright. Also, with all due respect, the streets can kiss
my ass. I'm done. I want a real life.
Evelyn sigh softly, glad that Adrik isn't a blood thirsty
maniac.
Evelyn: "Alright. I'll take them out of your territory and help
them. You'll have your money by then and you'll give your word
to not harm the woman. Well, you and your men who aren't
psychopaths."

Adrik: Then I recommend making sure that you get money because I
will not be one to come to you if you fail. He says to the woman
and then pays close attention to Evelyn as she signs. He then
responds to Evelyn. Adrik: Very well. If you can get money by
end of this week, then I will make sure that I am one to
retrieve money from you. Most of my men are psychopaths so it
will be just me.

The woman shivers at the thought of the other psychopaths who
will be after her. Meanwhile, Evelyn just silently nod.

Adrik: Dah, I give my word that I will be alone on Friday. Do I
have your word that I will get the money and live? Adrik says
with a reassuring tone of voice and honest look to his face.

Bratva member: You kidding me? Evelyn is a woman of her word.
She won't screw you over if you don't. Just keep that rat
bastard of a demented boss you got out of this!
Evelyn sighs sharply at her comrade which made him shut up. But
she does agree with him due to the expression on her face.

Adrik: One must have reassurance during such tense times as
these, comrade. Adrik says to the Bratva member in a calm voice.
Adrik: I swear upon my mother's grave that I will be alone.
Darkov will be nowhere nearby transaction. He says as he walks
backwards towards the shadows. Adrik: I will see you on Friday.
Do svidaniya, comrades.
