Kamari notice the smell of the cotton candy and realize too late
of the knife. Although she tried to dodge, the knife hit her by
the side which made her squeak out in shock and pain (which
makes sense in her bat form) before plummeting to the ground
abruptly close by Yuri. This knife attack also force Kamari back
to normal, revealing that the knife is lodged in her stomach and
inches away from her liver.
Kamari: W-What the f*ck?!
Kanna nods her head and decides to take off her weighted jacket
and weights immediately, revealing her kunoichi outfit. She then
throw the shurikens at Aeon to at least try to distract him so
Kindron can cut the bastard's head off.
Morrigan: Do you even have to ask? Morrigan respond to Hei with
a playful tone before advancing first at Kenji, this time being
her turn to keep him busy with attacks so Hei can try to sneak
Kenji.
Jon: Worth a shot.
Jon says as he shoots small fire ki blasts at Julianna. He wants
to save his ultimate flame dragon technique for the right
moment.

Shia, the assassin she saw earlier, becomes visible as she
stands where Kamari was attacked with a cheerful smile. Shia:
Darn. I must have missed your vitals. I guess you avoided a
fatal strike, huh? She says to herself as she finishes off her
last two bits of cotton candy. Her presence was now there again,
and she could now be sensed after her attack. She then smile to
Kamari and points to the knife. Can I have that back please? She
says innocently.
Yuri: Kamari! She says, worried as she tries to get past Triton
to help her, but is blocked by Triton who appears in front of
her and tries to attack her.
Aeon and Kindron continue to attack each other. As Kanna tries
to throw shuriken's, the shurikens don't make it through Aeon's
magic aura, and bounce harmlessly off his aura. Aeon barely
looks over at Kanna before going back to his fight with Kindron.
As Morrigan attacks, Hei tries to take out Kenji. Thankfully,
the distractions from Morrigan allow Hei to land a few slashes
on Kenji, now that Hei was using his full speed and not holding
back. However, as one would expect, black flames regenerate the
wounds almost immediately as Hei's attacks land.
Jonathon and Radu continue to attack each other, and blasting
each other with flames. Not much was changing with them, as they
continue to attack and seem to be fairly evenly matched.
Aziel mixes in ice spears into the fire blasts, trying to mix
hers and Jon's attacks on Juliana. Juliana tries to avoid the
attacks, zipping around in bursts of space-time, vanishing and
reappearing to dodge the attacks.

Kamari hiss in pain as she struggles to get up. When Shia reveal
herself and started talking, Kamari curse to herself in Arabic.
Kamari: You know what? I deserve this. Saw a walking red flag
strolling by and ignored it like a dumb ass b*tch.
She grumbles to herself as she firmly grip the knife handle and
yank the knife out of her stomach with no hesitation.
Kamari: Then again, half of the damn people here in Makai are
psychos in some shape of form.
Kamari inspects the knife as she begins to get back up,
clutching her bleeding wound with her other hand as her
regeneration begin to quickly kick in. Though by the glare she's
giving Shia, she has half a mind to use it to slit that crazy
freak's throat.
Kanna: Are you f*cking kidding me?!
Ace: His magic aura is thicker than I thought. We need to use ki
to at least scratch the bastard. Demon ki to be exact, and...
Kanna: And a clear shot.
Kanna back hands a approaching zombie and sends it flying toward
the others like it was a bowling ball. Kanna then puts her ninja
training to the test by trying to get to higher ground and
killing any undead who gets in her way.
Noticing this, Morrigan use her dark powers to subtly infuse
Hei's weapons with her draining magic, attempting to drain
Kenji's health and powers inch by inch while she continues
attacking Kenji.
Jon decides to try to get close and go on the offensive while
Aziel maintains the distance. Meanwhile, the kids and Rudy are
handling themselves against the undead and keeping them away
from Zoe. Even though she's doing alright with the group, her
friends are making sure that she doesn't get jumped.

Shia chuckles a bit at Kamari's statement about leaving alone a
walking red flag. Shia: It seems we both made the same
mistake... I should have probably killed you, but I didn't want
to give myself away if I didn't have to. She says with a smile.
She then glances at her when Kamari glares at her. Shia: I take
it I'm not getting that knife back, am I? She then smiles. Guess
I'll just have to take it back myself. I could go get another
one, but that would be such a hassle. She says in an innocent
tone.
Meanwhile, frustrated, Yuri looks to Triton. Yuri: Get out of my
WAY! She says angrily as she spins and kicks Triton across the
face, sending him flying into the wall. Triton coughs up blood
under his mask, which comes out of the bottom of his mask as he
recovers. Once Triton was out of her way, Yuri rushes over to
Kamari. Yuri: You alright, sis? That knife didn't hit anything
vital, did it? She says to Kamari.
Aeon and Kindron continue their fight, clashing blades as they
continue to fly overhead. Neither seemed to overpower the other
currently, and the two were fighting evenly.
However, something did change in the fight between Radu and
Jonathon as Kendrix appears out of Jonathon's shadow and stabs
him through the chest from behind.
Radu: What are you doing, boy?! That was my opponent! He says
angrily to Kendrix.
Kendrix just smiles and jams his blade upward to Jonathon's
heart, causing him to fall to the ground dead once Kendrix
removed his blade. Kendrix: I saw a shot and I took it. He then
looks to his sword and then his hand. Wait. Something's wrong...
Why didn't I absorb his soul? I went through the guys heart!
Almost in response, Juliana glows with power as she suddenly
grows wings of flames in the same shape as Jonathon's wings.
Flames consume Juliana, as her power increases considerably, as
Jonathon's power gets added to hers. Juliana vanishes from her
fight with Jon and Aziel, and reappears next to Jonathon's dead
body. She then burns it with her new power, as though a
respective funeral. Goodbye brother... May your soul find peace
in the afterlife. She says. She then turns back to Kendrix. I
thank you for freeing my brother... Even if it was not your
intent. But know that none of you can take any souls lost here
today... not as long as I'm here. Any souls who die here go
where I choose. That is my unique skill... The Guardian of
Souls. I am able to send souls to the afterlife, or in my case
now, I can also send souls to the Realm of Darkness. She says.
She then glares at Kendrix as her flame wings spread and
vanishes for only a split second before reappearing. My second
skill is Legacy of Souls... A power where I gain the abilities
of those who's souls I free from the living realm.
Kendrix's shoulder explodes in a sea of blood as his arm seemed
to have been chopped off. Kendrix, surprised, falls to his
knees. Kendrix: Dammit... What the heck happened? I couldn't
track her at all! He says to himself. Though his arm regenerates
in a burst of black shadows, it still caught Kendrix off guard
and took him a moment to recover.
Radu: How strange... Her powers have been altered. It's not just
flames she gained. I think she gained other abilities from him
as well. He says in response to Kendrix as he holds his sword up
to Juliana.
Hei stops his attack on Kenji as he notices what was going on
with Kendrix and Juliana. Hei: About time you try to help,
little brother. And of course you end up making the situation
worse... He says sarcastically to Kendrix.
As the exchange was going on, Aziel just looks confused for a
moment as Juliana had disappeared, and looks to Jon. Aziel: It
seems we have more to worry about with this opponent than just
defeating them... She says as she notices Juliana's power jump.

Kamari just hiss at Shia like a defensive and wounded animal as
she gets ready to defend herself. When Yuri rushes over to her
and check up on her, Kamari gives her a reassuring wink.
Kamari: Eh, been through worse. Though close call toward my
drinking time, not gonna lie.
She responds jokingly, telling Yuri that the knife miss her
liver. Although she was being aloof, it was more of a close call
than she's letting off.
Kanna was condensing her fox fire flames as she continues to get
into higher ground. Once she notice an opening, Kanna launch
herself toward Aeon in a burst of speed like a bullet,
attempting to spear Aeon square in the chest with her condensed
plasma based fox fire abilities.
Morrigan stops as well as she notice this. Realizing what's
going on, Morrigan tries to warn Kanna but it seems to be too
late.
Jon also stops and realizes what was going on, which made him
growl.
Jon: We need to stop her now before it's too late. Who knows
what will happen once she gets all of their abilities.

Yuri looks back as Triton gets up, putting his large weapon over
his shoulder as he walks over to them. She looks at Shia for a
moment, then back to Kamari. Yuri: Well... At least you're okay.
I get the feeling we're going to have to work together on this
one to take them both out. Either that or call for backup. She
then senses what was going on outside with the others. I don't
think we're going to get any help judging from what I can sense
going on in the arena. So it seems like we're stuck with only
each other to rely on. She says to Kamari.
Knowing what happened to Juliana, Kindron tries to knock Aeon
out of the way when he sees Kanna's attack. However, Aeon
misintreprets Kindron's actions and blocks with his lance and
shield, which opened up him for Kanna's attack once he had
focused most of his power in front of him to block Kindron's
attack. The attack lands on Aeon in the back, spearing through
his heart, which surprises Aeon.
Aeon: I am... a... hero... I can't... be killed... by some...
nobody! He says before dropping his weapons and dying as Kanna
spears him.
Almost immediately, Juliana gains another power boost, exploding
with the magical energy of Aeon that radiates upward. However,
unlike Aeon's pink energy, Juliana's magic energy was completely
black, mixed with Jonathon's divine flames. And the intensity of
the wave of energy would be strong enough to knock everyone back
who were close by her, which currently was Radu and Kendrix.
Radu and Kendrix are knocked back into the wall by the force of
the magic aura. Though black, the magic wasn't dark magic, but
just the color of Juliana's magic aura compared to Aeon. And
with Jonathon's Morpho Knight power stacked on Aeon's Galacta
Knight power, Juliana had evolved even further as her powers
seem to combine together. Once she hears Jon's statement, she
turns to look at him. Juliana: It is not just my comrades and
the Yurei here... I can gain the abilities of your allies as
well who fall in battle. She says as she swings her sword, which
looked similar to Kenji's except that it was a mix of black and
pink, and releases a wave of evil black spirit energy that
destroys part of the stands in a show of power that surpassed
even the S rank makai. Though the power came from a lower ranked
makai, Juliana's power boost using Aeon's magic aura seemed to
boost it far beyond it's normal capability. That power was from
one unimpressive makai who died here. I doubt anyone will ever
know his name... I didn't think his power would pack a punch,
but I guess it's just that much stronger since it's now coming
from me. She says calmly.
Aziel scoffs. Aziel: You're right. We have to stop her. The
longer this goes on, the more power she gains. She says in
response to Jon.
Kenji, who was silent after Aeon was also killed, zips and moves
back over to Juliana, as though retreating temporarily from the
fight with Hei and Morrigan. Kenji: I take it Aeon's soul has
moved to the afterlife as well? He says to Juliana.
Juliana just nods silently to Kenji. Her look to Kenji was
almost one of sadness behind her mask, knowing that Kenji and
her were the only two still stuck under Kavras's influence. The
silent looks they gave each other almost told a story of their
own if one observed their expressions behind their masks. It
seemed almost like Kenji wanted Juliana to kill him as well so
he could also be free, but Juliana was not wanting to kill him.
Hei thinks for a moment before telepathically talking to
Morrigan so he wouldn't be overhead by Juliana and Kenji. Hei:
Morrigan... Do you think you could manipulate the soul of the
knight we were fighting if Kendrix and I restrain him? We need
to free him from whoever's controlling them so he can act on his
own. Sever any connections that hold any power over him. He may
be one of the few people who can help us defeat that knight
girl. If we free him instead of kill him, perhaps we can use him
to fight her without her gaining his power. But it will only
work if we severe his connection to whoever is giving these guys
orders. And then hopefully, we can do the same to her... It
won't be easy, but it may be our only chance to beat them. If
that girl gains the power of that knight we were fighting, we're
finished. He says telepathically to Morrigan.

Kamari: Oh, wonderful.
She grumbles sarcastically as she prepares herself for a fight
once her wound is fully healed. Kamari also notice the power
surge going on out there. She just hopes that everyone out there
is alright, especially her friends which shows on the look on
her face.
This comment p*ssed off Kanna when Aeon said that, prompting her
to rip his body in half out of sheer anger as it fades away.
Though that anger turned to regret when she realized what she
has done when she saw Julianna getting a huge power boost from
it, making her swear loudly in Japanese. She remain by Kindron's
side but her concern turn toward the kids who are handling the
undead. Meanwhile, Morrigan listens to Hei's idea.
Morrigan: It's worth a shot. We also need to be mindful of the
undead as well. She mentioned earlier that she gained a power
from an unknown makai and manage to amplify their powers. The
children are doing an okay job but they can't keep them at bay
forever. And worst case that she manage to get their souls and
abilities as well.

Yuri: Honestly, I'd say we could switch opponents, but I don't
think you're going to last long against that swordsman. He was
even giving me trouble.
Meanwhile, as Aeon's body was ripped in half, Kindron sighs.
Kindron: I finally have someone who can handle my full power and
the fight gets stolen from me. He says with a sigh as Aeon's
body falls to the ground. He then turns to Juliana and Kenji.
Guess I'll just have to fight one of them instead. Though he
says "one of them" like he had a choice, he knew he was going to
have to fight Juliana.[/b]
Hei: Yeah. But if we get the one we were fighting on our side,
it's possible he knows a way to beat her. Otherwise this battle
may not end favorably. All this girl has to do is play the war
of attrition and she'll eventually get stronger until she may
not be able to be beaten by us.
Meanwhile, Aziel looks to Jon. Aziel: I think to fight her now,
we're going to have to team up with the others who no longer
have opponents.
Radu and Kendrix, who were fighting off some undead after
Jonathon died, move to stand with Kindron and the others.
Radu: It seems we have two knights left to face. And I suspect
they are the strongest ones. He says to the group.

Kamari: Yeah, no thanks. I'm not even sure Itto can even dent
him on his own and he's the strongest out of all of my friends.
Besides, I want a bit of payback anyway for that sneak attack
move. Though we need to hurry. I don't know how long they can
take out there.
Kanna just growl softly at Kindron's comment as she brush past
him and look at the other two knights.
Kanna: Save it. I saw an opportunity and took it. Just wish that
it didn't end up biting us in the ass.
Jon: Agreed.
Morrigan: Right. Just keep them busy and off my back. And make
sure that your family doesn't kill the last one or do anything
reckless.
With that, Morrigan disperse into mist, hiding in the shadows.
As Radu and Kendrix come up to Kanna and Kindron, Kanna turn to
Radu.
Kanna: Anyone got any bright ideas? She grumbles sarcastically

Yuri: I agree. I guess I'll try and beat up the swordsman again.
Just try not to get yourself killed, yeah? She says to Kamari as
she readies her sword to start her battle with Triton again.
Kindron sighs. Kindron: Fair enough... I can't fault you for
that. I know you're just trying to help, but try not to make
things any worse. He says sarcastically. First Kanna's knife
broke Aeon's armor releasing his full power, and now she had
killed Aeon and made Juliana stronger. Though Kindron knew it
wasn't on purpose, he still noted that Kanna's actions were
hurting his fight more than helping.
Radu: We won't get anywhere just standing here. The longer we
wait, the more people die. He says as he rushes in to attack
Juliana. Kindron and Kendrix also rush in, attacking Juilana
from multiple sides. However, Juliana seems to easily be able to
fight the three of them off, especially since Kindron wasn't in
his full power form anymore. She turns and counters each attack
with precision and skill, able to turn and counter each of them
easily.
Meanwhile, Hei moves to attack Kenji before he can jump into the
fight and protect Juiliana, keeping Kenji on his toes so that he
could find an opportunity to restrain him with his metal wire
lines.
