The combatants enter the arena, ready to face off. Both Zoe and
Jack bow in respect of the fight before going into their
fighting stance. Meanwhile, Scylla and Gorn shows their own
respective fighting stances before getting ready. Of course,
there's some mixed emotions in the crowds. Although many are
excited to see the fight, there are some Makai who are mainly
rooting for Team Haema just for the sole reason of wanting to
see Zoe being put in her place while other Makai are wondering
why the hell is a human competing in an arena, let alone her
being in Makai in the first place due to the rules.
Jack: No matter what, give it your best.
Zoe: The same to you. I won't go down so easily.
Scylla: Hmph. You got some spirit. Hopefully, you'll maintain
that during the fight.
Kamari: Well, we all know that only those with Makai blood can
come here. So her being here is enough proof that she's no
ordinary human. Either way, those stick in the ass old geezers
need to stop living in the past and change a few things. That's
the only way we can truly progress as a whole in Makai.
Kanna remain silent as the others talk. Kanna knows Zoe and her
family better than anyone else and can agree with certainty that
the Zolnerowich family don't go down so easily. They'll get
right back up. Not to mention that Morrigan herself stated that
Zoe's ancestor was a Makai resident. But even if that wasn't the
case, both her and Jon knows that Zoe is strong.

(I did not realize this one was waiting on me. I'm so sorry. I
thought I was up to date on this one)
Once Koto had realized the two finished their conversations,
Koto motions to the two teams. Koto: And you may begin! She says
to the two teams.
Aziel: I don't fully understand how it works with human, but in
our family, we know that a human lived here in this world that
had no Makai blood in him. It's where my family, or those that
remain, get their holy power. Of course we don't know if the
person got here on his own, or if he had help. But I suspect
that there may be more humans here than we realize. She
explains.

((It's cool. I didn't wanna bother you about it since you were
busy with some stuff. That and me being in and out))

The two young Makai males almost immediately start clashing
against one another. The two begin using martial arts to try to
overpower the other. After a minute of being evenly matched, the
two then power up their ki and start kicking things up a notch.
Meanwhile, Scylla use her wind powers to blow Zoe away before
sprouting her tengu wings and flying into the air, believing
that she easily make quick work of the human by trying to knock
her out. She scans for a weak spot to try to take Jack out but
out of nowhere, Zoe bolts up and delivers a right hook to the
jaw. Stunned, Scylla shakes her head and narrow her eyes at Zoe.
Scylla: How? I--
Zoe: Sorry to break it to you, but not all humans are that
fragile. Now, let's try this again.
Scylla grits her teeth but obliged as they begin fighting each
other in the air.
Kamari: That's... quite unheard of. But I guess anything can
happen. Though hopefully those suspicions aren't really true for
their sake. Last thing we need is a literal manhunt.
She says as she watch the fight. When she notice that Zoe is
still in the fight, she couldn't help but grin
Kamari: Hell yeah! That's what I'm talking about!

Koto: And our battle begins! The warmup seems to be martial arts
for the men, and even more elemental power for the two ladies.
So far, both seem to be evenly matched, but who knows how this
could end? She says as she narrates the fights.
Hei: I imagine in order to get here, your ancestor would have
had Makai help from the ice woman who was the source of your
makai blood. And your ancestor who was human wasn't a normal
human given the holy power that he's passed on in your family.
So I'd say he's more an exception than the rule when it comes to
humans who get into the Makai realm. He explains to Aziel.

For the two teenage males, the fight escalated when Gorn got cut
by one of Jack's attack. The blood swarm around his hands,
forming a gauntlet which he strikes Jack in the chest, sending
him skidding back to the wall. Gritting his teeth, Jack barely
had time to dodge a barrage of solid blood shards coming right
for him. Although two nicked him in the arm, Jack quickly
regenerate the wound and put up a wave of flames to counter the
barrage of blood shards.
Meanwhile, the two teenage females continue their clash into the
air. Although trying her best, Zoe is struggling against Scylla
due to her having the advantage in the air. Zoe manage to get a
few lucky hits in thanks to her lightning but Scylla's ki and
her tengu powers is becoming a problem for Zoe when Zoe got
kicked through a pillar and crashed onto the ground. Zoe cough
and struggles to get back up as Scylla floats in the air.
Zoe: Damn she's good.
Scylla: Had enough?
Zoe: Hell no! We... barely even... started!
Scylla: Then try to keep up. Last thing your partner needs is
for you to be dead weight.
As the others talk, Kanna silently watch the two v two fight.
She grit her teeth when Zoe got slammed into the ground but is
silently proud that she's not out of the match yet.
Kanna: softly to herself: C'mon, kid. Remember what that furball
taught you.

Koto: And it seems the Wasabi team members both are taking some
hits! But these fighters look far from done! This fight is
definitely starting to heat up! She says as she watches the
fight.
Hei and Kindron watch the fight silently, not having much to say
at the moment.

During the fight, Jon Talbain silently watch the fight down at
the coaching sidelines where the teams normally are. As this
happens, a male oni walks over to Jon.
Oni: You must be really desperate, wolf boy. Letting a bunch of
rookies fight some heavy hitters.
Jon: What do you want, Kyo? He asks annoyed
Kyo: Geez, can't a guy say hello? He ask cheerfully That's
harsh, even for you. I'm hurt.
Jon: Every time you show up, it's anything but simple.
Kyo: And that's what keep things entertaining~. But enough about
me, I see that the rumors are true. That you out of all people
have a human as an apprentice. That's really funny since you
hate those hairless apes. And yet there's one fighting for her
life in the ring.
Jon: She's different. She's stronger than even she herself
realize. And that's something that she'll show these idiots out
there who thought otherwise.
As Jon talks, Zoe continues her fight with Scylla. Right when
Scylla thought she got Zoe, the Zoe turns out to be a duplicate
made out of ki, which left her open to the real Zoe's ki infused
punch to the gut. Once stunned, Zoe continues the combo until on
the fifth attack, she grabs Scylla's left wing and throws her to
a pillar, leaving a medium sized crater. Zoe fires a ki ball at
Scylla but she barely evaded it in time, causing her to
painfully hover to the ground... where Gorn roughly slides
besides her. Jack walks over to the two opponents with his fire
aura pulsing. Zoe teleport next to Jack, ready to finish this
but both of their opponents gets up, also showing that they're
not giving up either.
Kyo: Huh. Not too shabby for a bunch of children. Can't wait to
see what they can really do.
Jon: Don't even think about it. They're just kids, not toys. Try
anything and I'll snap your horns off.
Kyo: Okay, okay, calm down. Jeez. I'm not like those hairless
chimps out there in the mundane realm.

Koto: Oh, and down goes Scylla! Right through a pillar! But she
dodged that blast of ki, so she must not be down and out just
yet! She says as she watches Scylla get knocked through a
pillar. It seems Team Wasabi has gotten the upper hand!

Jack: Ready to end this?
Zoe: Let's get it, fire boy.
Their ki sense kicked in and the duo leapt back when a surge of
demon power flares up from Gorn. Gorn shifts into his demon form
and glares at the duo.
Gorn: Don't get so full of yourself!
In a burst of speed, Gorn lunge forward. It happened so fast for
Zoe. The last thing she saw for a second were Gorn's claws
reaching for her face... only for Jack to push Zoe out of the
way and put his arms up to reduce the damage, only for him to
get tackled.
Zoe: Jack!
Zoe was about to go help but barely dodged a wind attack from
Scylla, making her shout in surprise.
Scylla: Pay attention, human! This fight went on long enough.
It's time to end this.

Koto: Wow! And Gorn brings out a demon form as he gets back in
the fight! It seems the tables have turned again!
