Kamari's body turn pale as she notice the gruesome sight. Trying
not to hurl, she sticks by Yuri as she try to analyze what the
hell happened here.
Kamari: Obvious guess is that one of the staff probably was
working with whoever was sick enough to do this...
Her voice comes out a bit shaky despite trying to keep her
composure.
Kanna: Gotcha!
Kanna makes a wide fanged grin as she use her semblance Akuma.
Dark blue fox fire flames comes from Kanna's sword and takes the
form of a giant kitsune head. The head attempts to chomp down on
Julianna which if succeeded, it will trap and burn her before
creating a massive explosion. One interesting characteristic of
this semblance is that those with absorption powers, especially
those who can absorb flames, cannot absorb this semblance. It
can even bypass flame immunities since it's not ordinary flames.
Morrigan: Whatever it is, at least we have the advantage for now
thanks to the children.

Yuri: I would guess that too... But why not at least clean up
the corpses and get new judges? She says with a sigh. She then
looks around. We can figure that out, but first... Any ideas on
what this "core" we're supposed to be looking for is? Because I
have no idea what we're looking for, or if there's even anything
that can be considered a core would be in here... What were they
guarding if there's nothing here? She says as she looks around.
Other than the blood, body parts, and the black goo, there
wasn't really anything particularly different about this room
compared to the other areas taken over.
Julianna tries to use her magic aura to defend against the
attack, and tried to use Jonathon's fire abilities to try and
absorb the flames before realizing that she couldn't absorb
them, nor was she immune to the attack. When the attack does
explode, Julianna is caught in the attack. While it doesn't kill
her, it is obvious it was effective on her when the smoke
clears. While her magic aura took most of the attack, her magic
aura was barely visible after Kanna's attack overpowered much of
her aura, and the mask was broken, revealing one of her eyes.
There was also blood running down her forehead, and she could
barely move as she had blood running down her arms and legs.
Julianna starts to regenerate in bursts of purple flames, which
were the magic flames of Aeon.
Julianna: That's a power I need... I'm going to have to kill her
and take that power for myself. Then I can kill the others
easily. She says to herself, ready to go after Kanna first if
she were to recover.
Hei: Now's our chance! If we restrain the girl, we can work
together! If we make physical contact with her, we can go into
her mind and server the connection between her and whoever
controls her! He says as he moves to capture Julianna with his
wires before she could fully regenerate.
Kenji looks to Julianna, and uses his wings to fly to her as Hei
restrains her. Kenji tries to figure out how to help, silent as
he looks at Julianna.
Meanwhile, the numbers decreasing were showing that the group,
like Zoe's were actually winning, and that there were actually
limits to the number of Yurei that could be summoned in one
summoning of the Realm of Darkness.
Up in the stands, Olivier Yosef was standing up in the announcer
area, watching the chaos start to die down.
Olivier: Maybe there are limits to how many Yurei can be
summoned from the Realm of Darkness at a time... That's good to
know. I thought we were going to be fighting an infinite army...
She says to herself, noticing that the numbers were not
replenishing quickly unless someone died and was turned into a
Yurei (Which wasn't really happening at this point since the
groups had taken out most of the powerful Yurei and it was
mostly just fodder at this point).

Kamari silently clap her hands together and close her eyes so
she can concentrate. She then open them, revealing fiery amber
orange eyes with black sclera. She use her spatial awareness
powers to find the core so she and Yuri can destroy it and put
an end to this madness.
Kanna has a crazy fox like grin on her face once the smoke is
cleared. A mischievous snickers comes from her as she catches
her breath.
Kanna: Heh... Not bad for a nobody.
Ace: That's good and all but I think you made yourself a big ass
target.
Kanna just scoffs as she prepares herself but doesn’t jump in
yet since Hei and the others are doing it. Jon manage to come up
to Kanna since most of the Yurei are dying out thanks to Zoe's
new sword.
Jon: I see things are turning up fine for you.
Kanna: I'll say. I've noticed the kids are doing great over
there. Still worried about Zoe though... at least I got that
knight to focus on me and not trying to turn my godkid into a
Yurei.
Jon: I'll keep an eye on her and make sure that Julianna doesn't
come after her. You guys just stop her. And stay vigilant. I
feel that this is far from over.
Ace: You don't have to tell us twice!

As Kamari would concentrate, she'd find nothing in the room that
fit the description of a core, or anything of note that was
different from the other areas in the arena (Besides the body
parts strewn about).
Aziel: I'm just glad you didn't screw things up worse this time.
She says sarcastically to Kanna. Though she sounded insulting,
it was kind of her getting more comfortable with the group and
teasing Kanna.
Meanwhile, as Kenji was focusing, he was trying to command the
Yurei, which was stopping some of the Yurei in their tracks
while Julianna was focused with the other group. Some of the
Yurei fight Kenji's control, but they are stuck in place, making
them easy targets to strike down for the groups still fighting.
Hei tries to go into Julianna's mind, trying to connect with her
spirit. He tries to connect with Morrigan's own soul attempt,
assuming that she was going to try and connect with Julianna the
same way she had connected with Kenji's soul.

Kamari: Nothing. Damn it, this doesn't make a lick of sense. Are
we missing something?
Zoe use this opportunity to take down the Yurei that are stuck
in place with the blade, along with her friends covering her
blind spot. Meanwhile, Kanna just groan in annoyance as she gets
ready to restrain Julianna, trying to find a open blind spot
since everyone is jumping the hell out of her.
Morrigan attempts to do the same thing to Julianna as she has
done to Kenji though she is prepared in case the daemon decides
to show his face. Worst case scenario, she pulls Hei out of
there.

Yuri: I don't know... I heard Kindron say something this time
was different. But if this isn't an important place, why were
that primordial and the assassin girl guarding it so hard? She
says, trying to figure out if they indeed were missing
something.
Kenji uses his power to make sure the Yurei being cut down
couldn't escape, which has mostly led to most of the powerful
Yurei being taken out. At this point, the other Yurei were
starting to realize they were losing and were trying to go into
the arena into hiding from the group.
Meanwhile, inside Julianna's mind, they'd find the real
Julianna's spirit chained up and unable to break free in her
mind, which was a symbolic representation of Julianna being
under Kavras's control. She sees them appear, and seems to watch
them, but seemed unable to speak or do anything, which is
evident by her just staying silent. However, unlike with Kenji,
there was not just a thread that led back to Kavras. This time,
there were chains all around them that all led back to Julianna,
hiding which ones led back to Kavras and which ones didn't lead
to Kavras. Some were wrapped around her, some seemed to go into
her spirit, and some seemed to connect her spirit to her mind.
Kavras appears in the mind as well, walking up to the group.
Kavras: Well well... I see you brought backup this time. He says
cheerfully to Morrigan. A Darkfire, huh? Not a bad choice. He
says jokingly. He then motions to the chains around him. I
thought I'd make a game out of this one since I knew you'd try
to free the girl. There's chains all around you, but only one
breaks my hold on her. But pick the chains carefully... Choose
the wrong one and you may break her mind, or worse, her
spirit... Brain death, maybe death... Or you may sever her
connection to her spirit and turn her into an instant hollow...
Won't THAT be fun? He chuckles. Go ahead and test your luck. he
says jokingly.

Kamari: Either A: They were decoys and some stuff of nightmares'
gonna come out and rip our ovaries out or B: We might be missing
something. Just don't know what.
Itto: Don't let them hide or escape! We need to get rid of all
of them! He says as he and the others support Zoe.
Morrigan: furrows her brows at Kavras I should've known better.
Ya just couldn't help but be a real pain in the ass, can't ya?
She says sarcastically to Kavras but steps in front of Hei as a
way of making sure that Kavras focus only on her and not him.
Though she talks lowly to Hei to a near whisper. Be careful
'round this one. I'm not sure how much you know about daemons
but this one is a huge threat if we're not careful. In other
words, don't act like your brothers. She says the last part
sarcastically but at the same time seriously, since the
Darkfires are known to throw hands first and ask questions
later... if the person ain't dead yet. Damn crash outs.

Yuri: I don't know either. She tries to sense the area around
her, but senses nothing. So, what should we do? Destroy the room
and move on? Or try something else? She says to Kamari. Since
Yuri wasn't much of a strategist (Since she preferred to just
raw power anything in her path), she wasn't sure how to proceed.
Kenji continues to keep the creatures in place. And as the last
of the creatures is killed, all that was left was Julianna.
However, as all the creatures were destroyed, it did raise
Julianna's power, making it harder to keep her restrained.
Thankfully, Kindron used his dark energy to put Julianna in a
dark energy telekinesis hold to try and keep her in place.
Hei: I see. I've read about them. But I'll be careful. I'm more
of a strategic "wait for my opportunity to cut their throats
out" type compared to Kindron and Kendrix. He says. He then
looks at the chains. If we want to save her, Im guessing we need
a way to identify which chain to break. He says to Morrigan.

Kamari frown as she look around. Taking a deep breath, she clasp
her hands together and mutter something in Turkish. As her hand
glows bright purple, she slams the palms of her hands onto the
ground, attempting to cleanse the black goo and bodies with her
flames, best case try again to figure out what the hell is going
on.
After the bodies are cleared up, Rudy and the others regroup
with Itto, Jack and Zoe. Both Jon and Kanna notice this as well.
Itto: We did it!
Rudy: Great job, everyone! Now it leads to one more problem.
Zoe: Oh... right... She says flatly with a hint of sadness,
knowing that Julianna must be stopped.
Rudy: You don't have to do this. You can let us handle this.
Jon: Just keep her away from Julianna. If her mind is strayed
away from her, then all the better!
Morrigan: Right. Think you can lend a hand? Two souls are better
than one.

The room does seem to take damage from the flames, but seems to
regenerate, including the bodies going back to how they were
before once her flames had gone out.
Aziel: Don't worry. I think they're trying to save her. She says
to Zoe's group, motioning toward Hei and Morrigan.
Meanwhile, inside Julianna's mind, Hei gets an idea. Hei:
Right... So, I can use my electricity to highlight all the
chains that are connected to her mind. Meanwhile, you highlight
all the ones connected to her soul. Together, we should be able
to narrow down the number of chains that go back to that daemon.
He says to Morrigan. He then uses his electricity to send a
charge through Juliana's mind. The electricity moves through all
the chains that were connected to Julianna's mind, which would
show half of them that were connected to her mind.
