Zoe silently watch the match with Itto once the two reform with
their team.
Kanna: Thanks. That's reassuring, Hei. She says with a nervous
chuckle. She listen to the announcer along with what Hei said
about Yukionna family Well, you and I both know that people get
that C class rank other than skill. Discrimination seems to be
the top reason. She mutters sarcastically about the last part
but seems to have somewhat of a point since some Makai residents
aren't fans of hybrids. Hell, Kanna is an S rank despite her
being a hybrid. Although most don't even dare to mess with her,
it's clear to say that if she's not really a Darkfire, things
would've been much different. Though some people in her family
still give her crap for it.

Koto gets ready, and motions. Koto: Both fighters: Fight! She
says as he Kindron and Aziel's match begins.
Kindron and Aziel draw their swords, and vanish from sight due
to their speed as they start with sword combat. Kindron focuses
normal flames rather than dark flames (since it would give him
away), and uses his flames to counter Aziel's ice power that was
coming from her sword. Kindron's katana turns red hot as his
flames cover it, while Aziel's sword had a thick coating of ice
over it to protect it from the flames and enhance the sword's
cutting ability. Every sword strike that meets, the two release
blasts of steam and shockwaves from the clashing of their swords
that were radiating out into the crowd. Thankfully, the steam
wasn't too bad, but it did make it pretty hot for those sitting
close to the ring.
As Kindron and Aziel clash and vanish, Koto does her announcer
duties. Koto: Whoa! I hope we got that slow-mo on the cameras,
because I don't think we're keeping up with these two! She says
cheerfully. You can just feel the shockwaves of every strike!
That's power you can feel even in the stands! And those sitting
close to the ring are going to be getting free steam baths
thanks to this fight! She says jokingly.
Hei: I know the ranking system isn't perfect. But if she's too
powerful, she shouldn't be competing. If she's at a high enough
rank, she's too strong for this tournament. He says to himself.
It was obvious he was just trying to keep the rules of the
tournament, since he tried to make sure the tournament was well
balanced in terms of the people competing. It's not just
speed... Their strength and ability is far beyond the power
levels this tournament was supposed to allow. He says as he
analyzes the fight, keeping up with Kindron and Aziel's combat.

Kanna: Now that you mention it... it does seem strange. Either
these guys are really strong A+ ranks, close to becoming an S,
or has been juicing. But their powers seems to be somewhat close
to what we can do, mainly on a basic scale.

Hei: Indeed. These two are not just some low level Makai... It's
no exaggeration to say the tournament could be decided by
whoever wins this match. It won't surprise me if everyone else
starts quitting after seeing the competition in this match. He
says in response as he watches the fight.
Meanwhile, Aziel and Kindron clash again and jump back, both
preparing attack spells.
Aziel: Ice Palace. She says as she summons a large throne of
ice. As the large ice throne appears behind her, hundreds of ice
spells are all cast at the same time.
Kindron, who was surprised, fires magic wave of flames in
response, releasing a huge wave of flames to try and overwhelm
the ice. Kindron: Blazing Inferno! He says, casting a fire spell
to blast Aziel's ice magic. There was a moment of hesitation
where he almost cast his Black Inferno black flame pillar spell
to counter it, but caught himself before he did and only used a
basic fire spell.
The fire and ice blast in the center of the ring, creating an
explosion of fog and boiling water from the ice and fire
colliding, which was starting to rain down on the crowd. The two
elemental powers seem far stronger than what was supposed to be
seen in the tournament, with Kindron and Aziel both seeming
barely even tired despite using so much raw elemental power.
Koto: Wow! Get out your ponchos and your umbrellas! These two
just brought a boiling shower! The audience is gonna be soaked
at the end of this fight! I hope someone is selling towels in
the shops! Shes says jokingly as the two attacks collide, as
Kindron and Azest continue to their blasts of elements at each
other.
Even up where Hei and the others were sitting, the water and
steam seems to reach them, making Hei create a sparks of
electricity to dispel the water that came at them, but not
enough to block their view of the fight (though right now, it
wasn't a fight so much as them both trying to overwhelm each
other's magic.

Kanna: Who knows? Maybe one of the S ranked watching may want a
cr*ck at fighting one of them, your brothers especially. Where
are they anyway?
Kanna was about to use her blue flames to shield herself and
dispel the strays of AOE magic but stop when Hei use his
lightning.

Hei: Kendrix is watching. He wanted to watch from the shadows so
he could be closer to the ring. He's probably hiding in one of
the shadows down near the ring. Kindron, on the other hand, said
he had paperwork to do... But I think that was a load of crap.
There's no way he'd miss this. I suspect we'll see him here at
some point. He says, not realizing that Kindron was closer than
he realized.
After a moment, Aziel and Kindron stop their magic, realizing
that they were just wasting magic at this point.
Aziel: A battle of magic will just end in a stalemate... It's a
waste of time. She says to herself and Kindron.
Kindron: I agree. He says, his voice lower and more gravelly
compared to his normal voice. I say we focus on our swords since
we can counter each other so easily with our fire and ice being
opposing elements. He says a he focuses the flames to his sword.
His sword glows red hot again, as the flames were enough to even
cause the arena to moisture in the air to evaporate.
Aziel: Yes. I agree. She says flatly as she starts focusing the
magic from her ice throne into her sword and seems to improvise
an ice sword technique as her sword once seems to get coated in
ice energy, chilling the very air into a mist due to how cold it
was. Unlike Kindron, who had training in how to focus magic into
a sword, this was Aziel's first time using such an attack, so
she was trying to be careful not to destroy her sword in the
process of focusing her magic.
Meanwhile, Koto keeps on doing her announcer duties. Koto: It
seems the two warriors have stalemated each other, and are going
to focus on their swords... The two seem to be focusing their
magic into their blades, and seem to be intent on striking the
other with their magic sword. It's hard to tell who has the
advantage in this fight... But it seems like we're about to see
even stronger attacks from these two fierce competitors! She
says into her mic.

Kanna: Huh. Hey, who knows? Maybe he's doing the same thing
Kendrix is doing but has a front row seat down there. Would be
kind of funny if he disguised himself as a coach or something to
cheer the kids on. She says the last part jokingly

Hei: I don't mind him being here. I just hope he isn't causing
trouble. he says in response to Kanna's comment.
Meanwhile, Kindron and Aziel charge each other, swinging their
swords at each other.
When the two blades met, there was an explosion of fire and ice,
which released even more steam and water into the air and onto
the crowd.
Koto, grabbing a poncho, throws it over her head as the rush of
water comes down. Koto: And there it is again! Another clash of
fire and ice, folks! I've never seen this much extra power
coming off two contestants before! She says as she watches.
For a moment, it was hard to tell what was happening, but soon,
the vapor dispelled enough that it was now visible that Aziel's
blade had sliced clean through Kindron's katana. The top part of
the katana flow past Aziel, cutting her shoulder, while Kindron
was stumbling back holding what remained of his katana. However,
as a result of Aziel slicing clean through his blade, Aziel's
blade had also cut through Kindron's mask and cloak, which
practically explode off his body as the rush of slashing power
had shredded most of his cloak, and split his mask into pieces.
In response, Kindron touched his hand to his face, realizing his
mask was shattered, and the massive weight of his coat had just
been slashed through. Even his shirt had been mostly shredded,
and Kindron even had a slight cut on his body where the sword
had cut through his dark energy defense he had put on under his
cloak to protect himself.
When Koto sees the attack landed on Kindron, she jumps. Koto: Oh
wow! It seems the ice blade sliced clean through Kirsch's flame
sword! And it seems he's been unmasked for the first time since
the tournament began! Those piercing red eyes! The jet black
hair! Wait... Why does he look familiar? She says to herself.
Even though she knew how Kindron was, she'd never actually seen
him outside of a few random pictures, so she didn't really know
that it was Kindron.
Up in the stands, Hei, who had seen that Kindron was the
swordsman in the black cloak, starts to vent anger in his aura,
and grabs the railing in front of him so hard he crushes the
metal in his grip.
Meanwhile, Kindron looks to Aziel with a smile, summoning his
black soul sword, Kuroigetsu and ignites black flames around it
while his black flames regenerate the slight cut on his body.
Kindron: That was really good. You're stronger than almost any
opponent I've fought so far. He says with a smile as he brings
his sword up.
However, as he does, Kindron's wrist is grabbed by Hei, who had
vanished from his seat and appeared to stop the fight. As Hei
grabbed his wrist, Kindron looks over to Hei.
Hei: Paperwork, my butt! I knew that excuse was a big load of
crap! He says angrily.
Kindron: What are you doing?! He says to Hei.
Hei: Did you REALLY think we'd let you continue this charade
after you were exposed?! Rest assured that you're definitely
disqualified! He says angrily.
Meanwhile, Koto touches her earpiece, and goes back to her
duties after the shock of seeing Hei. Koto: Ladies and
gentlemen, I have gotten word that the match is on hold pending
an investigation of the contestants.
Aziel: No! Let us finish this! I won't take a win on
disqualification! She says to Hei, not intent on winning without
using her own strength to win.
Hei looks to Aziel. Hei: Oh don't worry... I'm requesting you be
disqualified too. Now that I know you were fighting my brother,
and remaining doubts are gone now. I want your rank reevaluated
immediately. No mere A rank could land a hit on my brother... I
don't care how much he was holding back! He says angrily to
Aziel.
Kindron breaks free of Hei's grip and grabs Hei by the throat
hard. Kindron: Disqualifying me is one thing... But don't take
your anger out on someone who did nothing wrong! He says
angrily.
Hei responds by grabbing Kindron by the throat back, as the two
start to release dark energy as they seemed almost ready to kill
each other.
Koto just looks at Kindron, Hei and Aziel's interactions. Koto:
Uh oh... It seems like Lord Kindron and Hei Darkfire might give
us a bonus match to watch! Both of them look like powder kegs
ready to expl- She says before being cut off.
Hei: Shut up! He says to Koto. Koto responds by whimpering and
ducking under her desk.
Meanwhile, up in the stands, Yuri was laughing. Yuri: Oh my
god... Why didn't I think of that?! I could have been fighting
in this tournament too If I'd had a cloak and sword! If he'd
have invited me, I'd have joined his team! She says, enjoying
the drama of the situation.

Zoe and Itto were watching the fight up to the point where
Kindron was exposed. When that happened, Zoe and her team were
shocked, especially since they've never seen him in person
before.
Kanna face palm herself and angrily swears in Japanese when
Kindron got exposed. Meanwhile, Ace is laughing his ass off
about the situation. Kamari looks pretty shocked and is almost
speechless
Kanna: Of all of the hair brained schemes he pulled out of his
ass, he does this?!
Kamari: I mean, I know that he wants to fight those with
potential but this is a large step. A pretty bold one though.
Kanna: Don't encourage him. She growls in annoyance
Kamari: Hey, I'm not! I'm all up for letting the lower ranks
shine and try to grow stronger! That's why I'm up here. She
responds defensively with her hands up
As the two talk, both Kanna and Kamari notice the tension
between the brothers. Kanna prepares to go over there but in a
flash, Jon Talbain appears in the ring to break up the commotion
by grabbing at both of them by the collar.
Jon: Both of you, knock it off! He demands with a glare as if he
was disciplining his pupils The last thing this place need is
for you two to turn it into a war zone. Like it or not, your
brother is right, Kindron. This tournament is for A+ ranks and
below. Your time will come to shine in three years. Now thanks
to you, not only are you disqualified, but the staff has to make
sure and double check the contestants to see if there's anyone
else doing the same thing.

Kindron lets what remained of his shirt rip off as he wiggles
free of Jon's grip on his collar. Kindron: I'm not upset over
being disqualified... And delaying things isn't going to hurt
anything. If anything, it's going to let the contestants prepare
for what they may face. This fight shows them that they must be
stronger and more adaptable to win. He turns to Hei. What I'm
upset about is him trying to get someone else disqualified who
did nothing wrong.
Aziel: I'm not so weak I need someone else to defend me. She
says to Kindron sarcastically.
Hei scoffs at Kindron. Hei: I'm trying to keep the rules of this
tournament. How can anyone here who's not above A rank defeat
someone who can go toe to toe with an above S-rank like you. He
says to Kindron. If we don't disqualify this woman, she'll
easily win the tournament because I'm certain she's S rank or
above. She may be classified as C rank, but I want her
re-evaluated. In fact... We might as well reevaluate everyone
while we're at it. If a C-rank like her is able to take on my
brother, then there may be others incorrectly ranked that may
have unfair advantages.
Yuri looks down and thinks for a moment. She then calls down to
Hei and the others. Yuri: Wait... So how did Kindron get into
the tournament in the first place? I know they vet all the
contestants to make sure they're proper ranked and stuff. And in
that process, Kindron would have had to take off his mask and
cloak, right?
Kindron sighs. Kindron: Kirsch Xercis is an official identity,
meant for me when I don't want to reveal my identity. The
identity of Kirsch was supposed to be the original identity of
the hunter Wolf Mask... I created it for that purpose, but
people figured out quickly that who I was because I was careless
about my presence. So I used that identity in the tournament.
And when I removed my cloak and mask, I used shapeshifting to
appear as my alter ego. He explains in response to Yuri's
question.
Yuri: Wow... He really put a lot of effort into this. Now I'm
even more pissed I didn't think to try this. She says
sarcastically.
