Another Day in the Life of Reggie Rowe

Reggie had requested a transfer to New Orleans and taken a new
job as a detective in the SCIS division under Pride. Today the
kids like Theo were at school while Caleb and Eleanor were off
training with Pride. Reggie has the whole office/bar to himself.
SCIS offices are attached to Pride's blues bar which allows him
to give orders while running his passion. SCIS handles the
supernatural cases especially murders and other felonious crimes
in the New Orleans Police Department.
Reggie sits at his desk with a fresh cup of coffee and goes over
filing some recent solved cases. He has some blues playing with
Cab Calloway being the lead. Reggie: Finally, I can get some
paperwork done while the office is quiet.

Delsin having since return to the mortal plane and learning of
his brothers new job Delsin figured now was a better time as any
to see his brother once again . From the power vault he would
burst into smoke and travel into a nearby shadow using his new
found shadow walking ability in conjunction with his smoke ,
Delsin found it easier to travel in smoke form he would go
through the shadow realm before entering Reggie’s office in a
puff of smoke from under his desk and regain form under the
desk smashing his head under it before bursting back into smoke
and appearing in front of Reggie , rubbing his head in pain but
then giving a very big smile to his brother Been a while
Reggie Bush Delsin would refer to Reggie by his childhood
nickname for his ability to run very fast

At first, Reggie was going to pull his gun out of instinct when
he hears Delsin hit his head under Reggie's desk. He's glad that
he didn't though once Delsin becomes solid in front of his desk
and calls him by his childhood name. Reggie: Jesus Christ,
Delsin. You're supposed to be dead. Reggie then rushes to the
other side of the desk and hugs Delsin.

Delsin would hug his brother almost burying himself in his chest
n his tight embrace and you were supposed to be taller then me
but it’s funny how life works huh? I met Jesus too he’s a pretty
cool guy we were playing basketball when all of the sudden I’m
in a tube and some Irish dude is telling me he’s taking me to my
family . I just came from the house and you’ll never believe
this bro . Delsin would release his brother and sit in a chair
in his office that loser Kieran decided to marry my wife when
I’m dead . AND HE KNOCKED HER UP !!! Delsin would make his head
explode into smoke and reform to portray how mind blowing this
revelation is although he assumes everybody knows and when I
spoke to Anna bro I know that fire still burns for me . Delsin
would then pull a joint from behind his ear. Having left his
signature hat with his daughter Delsin is just letting his hair
flow with the wind very unusual as he is almost never without
his hat

Reggie: Delsin, wow.. may be you should have a seat and a stiff
drink before we talk. He says with a bit of hesitation in his
voice as steps back from the hug. Reggie: What will you have?
Whiskey? Scotch? Tequila? Delsin would be able to tell that
Reggie is delaying in giving him some news.

Tequila is my fancy but the last couple days I’ve had just bring
everything you’ve got Delsin would spark his Joiint but he would
not smoke it traditionally he would levitate the Joint and
absorb the smoke through his skin , something that always
freaked out Reggie I know you hate it but it’s the quickest way
to feel it Delsin would then puff out a large smoke cloud and
absorb it all back into his body to keep Reggie’s office from
stinking You know for a cop your pretty hard to find. If I
didn’t have this nifty new teleportation flying overseas would
have taken forever

Reggie goes through a door connecting the SCIS office to the
blues bar and grabs a bottle of Patron tequila. He returns with
the bottle and a short glass. He pours Delsin a few shots in the
glass and hands it to him. Reggie: That's probably because the
SCIS division of the New Orleans PD is also part of a government
operations known as U.N.I.T. and S.H.I.E.L.D. So it's a little
top secret of a division and understandable why I was hard to
find. Reggie then takes a seat behind his desk. Reggie: As for
Anna and Keirran, I already knew about their marriage and the
pregnancy. I was the one to give Anna and Keirran my blessing
for the marriage since Anna's father was murdered. If you came
here first, may be I could've broken the news easier than Anna
and Keirran. I'm sorry that you found out the hard way, bro.

Delsin would bring to drink however he would spit it out upon
revelation and stand straight up WHAT?? Why would you do that
Reggie?? To that pencil neck geek of all people. Reggie I’m
going to kill him even if it takes 100 years. After what he said
to me he’s lucky he’s even able to breath out of his mouth
without a respirator. Even if Ana only found her way go earth
because he stayed behind. What we built was real and special .
And for only THREE YEARS to pass by and she’s already shacked up
with this loser playing family with MY FAMILY Delsins emotions
were started to get out of control as items on Reggie’s desk
would begin to levitate and the ground would begin to mildly
shake

Reggie: Calm down, Delsin. I gave them my blessings because I
saw someone brave enough to want to raise your kids and protect
Anna. You have to admit that your kids can be a handful.
Everyone encouraged Anna to date again after you died as we
didn't want to see her raising two kids alone. Keirran was just
the first one to accept the kids instead of running away. I saw
that as admirable and wasn't fully aware of their past. So what
if he's trying to gain redemption. Isn't that what we all want
in the long run? Redemption for something that we failed to do
at one point in life. Reggie says with a kind tone of voice. He
then takes a sip of coffee. Reggie: Besides if I knew there was
a past history between them, then I would've been more hesitant
about agreeing to their marriage.

You know for a cop bro you’re pretty dumb. So just because
somebody is willing to take care of my kids you give your
blessing like that? And for no type of background check or
anything ? All the resources we have in the world and you didn’t
use one ?? Reggie whose side are you on ?? Delsin is just upset
that his wife is with somebody else a lesser man in delsins
opinion he would drop his head into his hands before extending
his hand to Reggie Show me everything you saw Delsin is asking
Reggie to allow Delsin to see the event play out through his
eyes using his telepathy and his absorption
