Saskia has the same relaxed expression on her face but listen to
her husband's warning about this jinn since she also know that
many jinn are known to be sneaky, especially the ones from the
Islamic pantheon.
Saskia: We already plan to help the girl find her father so
there's no reason for you to make the deal to her. As for the
information about Kindron Darkfire, you say that he has new
abilities that can screw with us?

Amalia takes Malice's warning to heart especially after hearing
Demerest say that souls are his usual price. She much rather
trust Malice and Saskia than trust this Wishmaster. Amalia: Let
me get close to this Kindron and observe his powers. I can then
copy them in whoever you wish, Lady Saskia and Lord Malice. I
could also tell you his plans and movements if I gain his trust.
Let me prove my worth in more than just giving you more power
and get to study the subject of imprisonment. I can custom build
a prison for either torture or whatever use we need it for. We
just need a volunteer to be the Warden of the prison. Someone
who will not mind spending however long you keep Kindron as a
prisoner. She knows that the "volunteer" position is a permanent
position as the Warden and the core are bonded together.

the snap of our fingers. He says as he snaps his fingers. He
then turns to Amalia. What if I can guarantee that I won't take
your soul or the soul of your father as payment? He says. I came
here willing to bend my normal rules for this deal. That is how
important this deal is for me. I don't ask for much in return.

Malice thinks for a moment. Malice: Oh I can think of a few
people who might be able to handle that. He turns to Amalia.
Does the person have to be strong? And are there any
restrictions on people we can use for that function? [b]He says
to Amalia.

Saskia remain silent as she listens to everyone, though is
concern about what Demerest stated earlier about Kindron's
powers.

Amalia looks to Demerest with a resigned look. She's not sure if
she should trust him or not. The others of his kind who tried
and failed all wanted either her soul or to copy her power to
control Aether. Amalia: You would forsake taking my soul or my
father's soul for the ability to wield Aether. You have the
power to create anything you want from nothing similar to what I
do with Aether. Amalia reaches in her pouch and pulls out a hand
full of Aether. She then wills the Aether to turn into a white
dove, has it fly over, and land on Demerest. Amalia: Difference
is I have to risk my neck in the Void collecting what powers my
creations and gifts. Are you willing to go into the Void and
risk your safety to collect the raw blood of Void? She then
looks back to Malice with a smile. Amalia: There is no special
requirements other than the volunteer be a living person. You
might want them to be someone you don't need elsewhere because
once the power core and the Warden have bonded then they are
bonded forever. Destroy one and destroy both type of deal.
Gor and Crunk relax a bit as they see Amalia handling Demerest.

Demerest smiles. Demerest: Yes, I will let you keep your soul to
gain this power you possess. There are other deals, other souls
I can take in the meantime. As for my power. It's true that I
have power beyond most beings. But I can only use it when
someone wishes it. Outside of that, most of my power is limited.
He says in response to Amalia's statement about his power. He
then pets the dove of aether as it lands on his shoulder.
Malice smiles. Malice: I see. I have some ideas. I'll find
someone who can act as my volunteer. I definitely will have to
make sure I choose the right person.

Amalia gives it some deep thought about Demerest's offer. She
weighs the possibility of giving into hope that Demerest can do
what others have not. Amalia: As long as my father and I get to
keep our souls, then you have a deal. I'll make the wish and
then teach you how to use aether. Agreed? Amalia then looks to
Malice. Amalia: Once my father is secured, then he can help me
build a powerful core guaranteed to hold anyone. The two of us
working together can collect more than enough aether for the
core. She then looks back to Demerest for his answer.

Demerest nods and takes out a contract. It was a written
contract that had a strange energy to it that seemed to come
from Death himself. Demerest: This is a contract signed by the
big Death (the older Death). I have already put in that I will
not take your soul or your father's soul. And in exchange, you
teach me that power you possess. With this contract, Death
himself will make sure your soul and your father's souls will go
where they are supposed to go when you die, and I will have no
influence on where your souls go. He explains to Amalia.
Malice thinks about who would be best for the job as warden.
Malice: I'll give it thought as to who would be best for the
job. I would choose Balor, but I'm afraid he might get killed by
Kindron just to spite me. And it should definitely be someone
who isn't going to try and fight him for fun.

Saskia: We have too many with a itchy hand to fight Kindron or
the girl. Maybe if I take a peek into the void for a second, I
might find someone.
