Amalia: I had a feeling that rescuing my father from the Void
was beyond your power but helping me find Malice and offering
protection is always useful. I'm just not sure how to repay you,
Lucifer. She says with a soft, warm smile as she places the menu
down for a moment. Amalia: I don't have much other than what I
need for my ability to work, and not many know how to use
aether.
Gor: We'll see if your devil can perhaps help her. He says as he
takes another drag of his cigarette.

Lucifer: I wish it was not as I would have done it for myself
years ago, but that’s a story for another day. He picks the
tablet up. As for repayment, come work for me or rather with me.
He says studying her. You don’t seem like the type to be held
down in one place for long thus working at Lux the way others do
poses you no benefits. And you stay away from Kendrix and Club
Eternity as well as his allies. They get no use out of your
abilities. In exchange, I give you my copy of the ritual, or
ferry you to a place called the Olympus Universe. Malice has his
hands in Hyperion there. Demand enough and you’ll get him. And
you get my protection. I’ll give you something to keep you safe
while you deal with Malice. My protection will also be permanent
to this universe, like a boon. I come when called.
Maz: I have hope for her.

Amalia gets a genuine smile on her face as she listens to
Lucifer. He is the first version of himself who didn't ask for
her soul. That impresses her. She also has to admit that she
could use a break from dimension hopping for awhile. It has
gotten a bit tiresome. So if Lucifer can get her to the universe
that Malice maybe in then she'll take the deal. Besides Amalia
likes the Lux and won't mind working for Lucifer. Amalia: You
drive a hard bargain, but we have a deal. I could use a rest
from dimension hopping and wouldn't mind working with you. I
agree to the terms especially staying away from Club Eternity.
The place didn't vibe right with me from the outside anyways.
She then holds her hand out to seal the deal. Amalia: I just
hope you can find use for my bodyguards too.
Gor takes another drag of his cigarette. He then looks inside
and raises an eyebrow. Gor: It seems that your devil has done
what others have failed. I wonder under what conditions.

He shakes her hand with his free one. There's no grand display
of magic or any sweeping feeling that courses from it. It just
leaves a heavy weight lingering behind that would seep into the
very heart of her. She hasn't sold her soul to him, but she has
sold a piece of herself, and his slow curling smile says he's
pleased as punch about it. His hand falls away. Lucifer: Your
father must be very important to you, but I must admit he didn't
teach you to negotiate very well. He doesn't elaborate further.
Instead he turns his attention towards ordering dinner before
settling the tablet in front of her. Lucifer: Order dinner, Miss
Amalia. We'll eat and then I'll help you on your way. And rest
assured, I'll find work for them too.
Maze tips her head to look inside. For a brief second, she
catches Lucifer's eyes through the window. Her lips press
together at what she finds before she turns away. Maze: None
you'll like I'm sure. He's ecstatic. Amalia any good at very
specific wording?

Amalia: He tried his best to teach me everything he knows before
he was banished to the Void. She takes the tablet and order a
California and three shrimp rice balls. Amalia: So what will you
expect of me other than what we agreed upon? Bartending perhaps?
Gor laughs heartily and smokes his cigarette. Gor: Amalia is
young and foolish. She has the tactical negotiation and speaking
skills of a high school student at best. I am sure I will not
like the terms, but I have no say in her decisions.
