Amalia turns a bit in her seat to look at Lucifer with a smile.
She gives him her hand and stands up with an elegance, leaving
her barely touched drink behind. Amalia: What a coincidence. I
just hope that I won't take up too much of your time. Shall I
inform my bodyguard of my departure or should we just let him
have fun? She says with a charming smile as she gives her golem
bodyguard, Gor, a telepathic command to follow behind but try to
be unnoticeable.
Gor grins a bit and then begins to walk towards the exit. This
brings him towards the balcony steps where Mazikeen would be
walking down. His suit and wrestler physique makes him stand out
in the crowd. Some people move for the intimidating figure of a
man while others just get moved out of the way. If Mazikeen pays
attention to Gor, then she would sense that he is definitely not
human as he is soulless and radiates an aura of a construct.

After she stands he turns, tucking her arm into the crook of his
elbow as he leads her through a side door close to the bar. It
leads out into a side street of Japan. It’s a warm evening, but
slightly breezy. Lucifer: He can tag along if you feel so
inclined. Anything to make a lady feel more comfortable. Now is
there anything you’d like to see in particular?
Mazikeen informs the bar manager of their absence before
discreetly following after them at a distance. She does notice
Gor crossing the space due to the number of individuals rapidly
giving him space. She doesn’t make a move towards him yet, but
she makes a note that he’s likely with the lady that just left
with her boss.

Knowing that Gor is her main source of Aether other than a few
balls in her purse, she decides that it might be best if Gor
comes along just in case trouble finds them. It wouldn't be fair
to leave Lucifer to defend her after all. She is surprised that
Lucifer doesn't have a bodyguard of his own. Amalia: We might as
well let him tag along instead of startling your guests. As for
a destination, I'm so new that I haven't thought of any place in
particular. Care to show me some of your favorite places? She
says with a pleasant smile as she follows Lucifer. She
psychically commands Gor to meet them at the front door.
Once getting his new commands, Gor continues his way to the door
where he will meet up with Lucifer and Amalia. He continues to
walk through the crowd with an intimidating presence of sheer
size.

He walks with her out from the side street onto the main
thoroughfare. It’s quite busy at this time of night and she can
see the line for Lux is trailing far down the sidewalk. She
picked a good time to arrive, any later and she would’ve likely
been waiting for awhile. As he guides her through the crowd on
the sidewalk he looks back briefly for Mazikeen. Lucifer: Now
that I can do. There are a few excellent places just here. Japan
has always had a fantastic food scene and despite all the
ecological damage, it hasn’t changed much in that regard. Just
adapted. There are a few restaurants and cafes that I frequent
nearby. And a music store which is closed at this time. It’s run
by a lovely elderly gentleman and he services my piano.
Maz passes Gor as she exits through the front easily fading into
the group of patrons leaving. The only thing that gives her away
is the fact that her energy reads differently than a humans
otherwise she’s unremarkable when she chooses to be.

Amalia follows Lucifer out from the side street to the main
street. She's amazed by the number of people standing in line
for the Lux. She's definitely glad that she got in when she did.
Amalia: I would love to try some of the local restaurants and
cafes. I have heard much about the delicacies of Japan and
always wanted to try the food. As for the music shop, I'll have
to check it out when they're open. How is the art scene in
Japan? She says with an excited smile.
Gor looks to Mazikeen but takes no real notice. He then receives
a psychic command to walk out the door and follow Amalia and
Lucifer. He does growl a bit in frustration as he didn't mean to
lose Amalia and Lucifer. He walks out the front door and looks
around. He quickly spots Amalia with Lucifer and begins to
follow the pair to their next destination.

Lucifer: It’s thriving in a manner of speaking. It is nowhere
near as prominent as it was before all the disasters, but that
isn’t to say it’s died out. Much of the traditional cultural art
scene has remained, and as people settle here for one reason or
another many outside art forms have become popular too. There’s
a museum here in the city that’s nice if you’re into art
history. The farther they get from the club the thinner the
crowd seems to become though it’s by no means not a busy street.
He pulls a face as if he’s thinking for a moment. There’s been a
lot of street art that’s popular too. It’s a form of escapism
and creativity I think. People looking for hope.
Mazikeen continues to follow weaving around people. When the
crowd thins out she shifts more towards the less lit area. She
gives a silent laugh at Lucifer’s mention of hope. The lack of
it had been making their current business model rather popular.
Plus she hadn’t seen Lucifer be positive enough to mention it in
awhile.

Amalia: People always look for hope in desperate times. It's
rather an endearing quality about humans. She says to Lucifer
about his remarks of escapism, creativity, and hope. She didn't
mean to refer to people as humans as she sees herself above the
average human. She looks around and notices how the crowd is
getting thinner but doesn't feel uncomfortable about it. Instead
it feels more like she can breath though she hated to miss the
opportunity to bestow a gift of power on someone. She can have
fun with that later. Amalia: I find street artist fascinating in
all honesty as their art tends to be more raw in nature.
Suffering brings out such beauty in art as it pulls at the soul.
Gor continues to follow Lucifer and Amalia from a slight
distance as telepathically commanded. He gets less pushy as the
crowd dies down but there is no relief in his nature.

Lucifer: Indeed it does. Suffering changes people I think, and
not just humans. You experience enough of it and you realize
things about yourself. Good or bad. The world’s best artists and
thinkers were often beings who went through immense pain and
turmoil. It’s interesting that’s way. He tilts his head in the
direction of a nearby sushi place asking silently if she’s up
for it. I’ve always admired humanity’s ability to make bad
things beautiful or worthwhile. They’re resilient in that way.
Maz: Well she certainly made him focused and dedicated to his
job. She speaks quietly to herself as she continues on being a
bit relieved at the loss of the crowd. She hates all the eyes on
her in those types of environments. It also makes it incredibly
hard to do her job and based on her ever so slight scowl, she
wishes he hadn’t left on such a busy evening.

Amalia nods yes to the offer of sushi. Amalia: I think that's
why I enjoy the work of some of the greats like Van Gogh. Now
there was a man who understood suffering. He even cut off his
own ear though the reason is debated. So many believe it to have
been out of some twisted love, but I myself more readily believe
that he was suffering from some kind of acute infection. She
says with a true interest in the conversation. It had been a
while since she had intelligent conversation and not people
wanting to see what she could do for them. Amalia: And what of
you, Mr. Morningstar? Any favorite artists?
Gor continues to follow at a steady pace behind Amalia and
Lucifer. He shows a bit of relief as the crowd thins as this
makes his job easier like it does for Mazikeen.

Lucifer: If I was to be a bit vain I might say the Geef
brothers. Brilliant sculptors. Although they didn’t get the
likeness quite right, Joseph at least made his too beautiful for
the church to deem worth keeping. He leads her in the direction
of the sushi place, pulling the door open when they arrive.
Lucifer: Francisco Goya is also a favorite. He was a Spanish
court painter. He went deaf due to illness and his paintings
took a darker turn. Then he lived through the Napoleonic Wars
and I think he managed to capture the horrors and darkness in
humanity from that quite well in a figurative way.
Maz slows to a stop next to a nearby shop window pretending to
peruse the display while they enter the restaurant. She’ll wait
for a few minutes to pass before she enters in after them.
