       Please Pray for My Neighbors

I ask for your prayers for my neighbors. There were a
grandfather and grandmother living there with three boys. I
learned today that the two grandparents died within a week of
each other. I forget which died first; but I'm guessing it was
the grandfather since I never saw the grandmother. She must
have been ill and bedridden; and perhaps he died first and the
three boys couldn't take proper care of her? Or perhaps God
thought it best that they go to the other side together?
Their father lives in Florida; but the kids don't want to go
there to live with him. He must not be a very good father; and
now I wonder if he ever sent the grandparents money to help pay
for additional expenses. So many things I don't know! They said
they wanted to at least finish this school year here in
Carlisle. I believe the woman there to help them is their aunt.
I spoke to her briefly while she was working at cleaning up the
house and clearing junk out. They were also taking some of the
junk out of the back yard. There is a dumpster out front, and
all kinds of trash had accumulated upstairs. She wasn't very
pleasant when I talked with her briefly.
I do not know what will happen; but I think those three boys
       need prayers.

Oh that’s sad Kerry, wonder what happened to the mum. Yes, will
add them to my prayers, certainly not easy losing your
grandparents, home, friends ect all at the same time if they
have to go live with the father, but if they don’t go there then
       where would they go?
What ages are the boys Kerry ?

Thanks for adding them to your prayers. They definitely need
       them.
I wonder too what happened their mum. Did she die or leave her
husband? Could that be why he couldn't take care of them and
they don't want to live with him? I'd guess the sons are
       between 11 and 16.
I used to see them and a young black kid who used to do things
       in the back yard.  One day I smelled marijuana and mentioned it;
and the black kid denied it. I laughed and told him I should
know what I smelled since I smoked it when I was younger. He
laughed back. The black kid was very pleasant, always said hi
to me when he saw me. Some days we had short chats about other
things. Maybe I should have told the grandfather about it, but
I didn't. Then all of a sudden, the black kid wasn't there
       with them anymore.
