I’m going to try Smilys Dave’sway ……tell us if his way works and
is visible to everyone.
These are the smiles from our own iPad selection ….not the tiny
smilies on the board …but,I didn’t know if they would work on
forum or be visible to those without a Mac device .
I can see Dave’s , because, we are both Mac users ..but can
everyone else see them too?
😊🙄🤔🤔
I have posted 4 above this line .

“Giving thanks always for all things unto God “(Ephesians 5:20).
No matter what the source of the evil, if we are in God and
surrounded by Him as by an atmosphere, all evil has to pass
through Him before it comes to us.
Therefore we can thank God for everything that comes, not for
the sin of it, but for what God will bring out of it and through
it.
May God make our lives thanksgiving and perpetual praise, then
He will make everything a blessing!

Thought this was a good un’ to start the week,
One of the Psl starts, O COME, let us sing unto the Lord, let us
make a joyful “noise” to the rock of our salvation, let us come
before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise
unto him with psalms, sing unto the Lord a new song, sing unto
the Lord, and this is my thought for this week.
The LORD REIGNETH, let the saints rejoice, Dave’s modified
version.
So give thanks with a grateful heart.

Sorry this is a bit late , by accident I read your earlier posts
this morning ( I have the posts set up to show recent post on
page one , but accidentally pressed page 2 )
So I decided to take a look at Ruth
Well the first thing that struck me was the fact that it was a
famine that set the Husband on his journey with Naomi to Moab.
Now in a later verse Naomi relays that God had provided food for
his people ( in other words God had ended the famine ) So Gods
planning had directed them To Moab !!!!
The Husband died, so he didn’t just up and leave them. Also
later when the sons die…….. now if we believe in Gods ultimate
sovereignty over life, this was equally used. I say that because
it left the women with the freedom to make their own choices
with regards to where they went.
Naomi ‘ Hears ‘ about Gods provision of food and knowledge that
the famine was over. Once again ‘ timing ‘. This is what led
Naomi away from her wider family.
She realises that ‘ going home ‘ was not ‘ going home ‘ for her
daughter in laws -so she does the right thing and allows them to
make choices. One daughter in law I’d driven back, but Ruth is
committed and driven by something much deeper within her to
remain with Naomi
Naomi is full of self pity and believes that God is so against
her ( don’t we do that when things go wrong ) and yet the bigger
picture reveals that this lady is just so relevant, so valuable
and she is used in such a mighty way.
The final thing that struck me from chapter one …the words ‘ as
barley harvest began ‘ ………..once again incredible timing with
regards to them arriving back in Bethlehem. We know it’s
relevance, she doesn’t ……….
It’s been good to look at this book again and the Lord has been
speaking personally to me as I have read it, kind of glad I got
the wrong page in your corner Dave xxxxx
