39 days , do you have a calendar up ticking of each day ?
Do you go along to some games or just follow on the tv ?
Yes Brighton had another good match , be interesting to see how
they fair when they play in the European matches. Not sure when
that season starts.
The move does look promising and we are talking about moving at
the end of October early November. I will certainly start
packing and sorting a lot more things out now. Sadly my juries
have not healed, so it does limit me doing some things. I am
waiting for physio but as it could be up to 5months I am going
to pay for a private physio assessment and get the money back
from a work insurance, it won’t cover loads of appointment but
it will at least help me to know what exercises I should be
doing ect and I need advice about work.

I should have a doughnut to celebrate …..we have completed the
swap again. Forms now being sent to all the councils and housing
associations. They will then decide whether it will all be
approved, takes up to 6 weeks , the if that goes through we can
sort out a move date

Goodness Rita , it sounds so complicated to me…I’d probaly end
up in the wrong house with the wrong family haha…you are so
brave 👏👏👏

We have Oilers news which does a daily countdown and shares
what’s happening Rita, which is not much; my son in law used to
have tickets for the first upper balcony at the Saddledome for
the Calgary games and I would go with him especially when the
Oilers were playing here but the Covid thing shut things down
and the price of permanent seats has now gone through the roof.
So another Doc’ took the seats and Alan gets to go by invite
now🙃🙃🙃.
So the answer to your maidens prayer is, so I only get to see
them when they TV them on certain feeds, to invest in all there
televised games for me is to expensive.
Are Euro games televised for you or blacked out, for me it’s
‘not available in your area’🤬🤬🤬.
They have cleaned out a lot of the old staff, and replaced them
including the some of the coaching staff, it seems like a one
out, two in, sort of thing.
The team is pretty much the same as last year, traded a few and
brought in a few old new ones, nobody sensational as I see it.
Odd really, you are old at 30 in the hockey world.
Our summer is officially over, and it will soon be, ‘I wrestle
not with flesh and blood’
But the Autumn leaves that float by my window and land in my
grass.
But as a wiser than I said, ‘if I wasn’t doing that, I would be
doing something else that might be worse’
Thanks for keeping us posted on the potential merry go round 7
way move🙃😇🙃.
Who actually gets to move first, then is it a domino effect?
I was thinking on ‘3 score years and ten and after that
——————————-‘ I think that they should lower it to the just ‘3
score and after that—————-‘ it seems aches and pains are
starting earlier than they used too or am I just imagining it?
We have visitors in a couple of weeks so I’m having to do stuff
I would leave if they weren’t coming, did get Bro to fix the
downstairs toilet as Helen says that I broke the last one I
installed, how nice selective remembering is🙂.
We’re praying for Pat and the issue with her daughter in law, I
only lived at home for my first 15 years and then a couple
before Helen and I married and my mum drove H up a tree on how I
liked certain foods done, all of a sudden I was her only son in
need.
Is there a mother son thing that comes into play when the
daughter in law appears?
Well the time has come the Walrus said, for me get our tea xx.

Like you with the hockey Dave, some matches are on tv, some are
not televised. It’s hit and miss. I no longer have sky as it was
just too expensive and I wasn’t watching it much, so I
cancelled. I think my eldest can get most of the matches as he
pays for a special football channel.
Well we thought our summer was over as the cold nip in the air
could be Felt on the way to work, then suddenly we get a heat
wave and today has been the hottest day of the year !!
Hope your time with your visitors goes well xxxx
Move date everyone will no doubt start moving early in the
morning, and we will just see how it goes, that’s what happened
when we did the three way swap. I can leave things in my
daughters ( boxes ect ) if there is a bit of an over lap.
We have done nearly all the paperwork xx

Well another Friday, just had a late brekky; the bed sheets due
to a cooler morning seemed as though they were to heavy to move
early this morning.
Rita, what would we have done if you hadn't decided to move for
a united diversity theme ????
Was the hot day forecasted or it just happened, good job the old
bikini was not boxed and packed ;) ;) ; how does Dan do with
the heat, Helen's like a wet noodle on hot days!!!!!!
David, David how does my garden grow?, not to well I think,
Helen says I didn't till the ground properly and my scattering
was to late in the season, but the upside is the wild Horse
radish harvest is looking good, funny you take man's hand off
stuff and it just does what it does best.
Maybe that's why the early church bloomed until man's hand got
involved.
Isa penned. "Behold my servant,___________________" Jesus the
pattern Son only had the Father's hand on him plus "I will put
my spirit on him" the plus seems a bit reluctant in these days:
I think there is a lot conjured up in "Behold my servant" many
want sonship without the servant bit, who is willing in the
Spirit to wash feet I ask "myself"!!!!!!!
T and T (tea and toast) to avoid any confusion is over, time to
gird up for what's left of the day.
A little bit of the diverse might go a long way ::) ::) ::)
maybe time for a stir up the diverse???

You get use to diversity living in Brighton !!😂
The heat wave has been for the whole week, looks to end on
Monday. Ironic that it came as the children headed back to
school after the summer holiday that consisted of mainly rainy
days !!
Dans favourite friend is his fan - he also has it on all night
throughout the year. He hates the really hot weather. Think he
likes spring and autumn.
I have a meeting with my line manager today, going to get advice
from the occupational therapist about my leg and knee. I can’t
use the hoover and all the walking is not helping. I am in
laundry more, which helps but whether that is totally good I am
not sure. I am paying for a private physio assessment on
Thursday to get some advice as well. It may be that I may have
to be released from my contract on medical grounds ( the last
resort ).
I have been having counselling for the last few months, arranged
and paid for by work when everything happened with Sarah. It’s
been really helpful and God has used it in a very positive way.
Right at had better get up and ready to go to work in a boiling
hot laundry !!!!!!

The joys of getting older and spilling things. So yesterday,
after cleaning my bedroom and changing my quilt cover. I
proceeded to sit on my bed and read, reached out for my cuppa
and knocked it over- bonus of having Sarah next door , she came
round and cleaned the carpet with her cleaner.
Sat in bed tonight , reached out for my fruit tea, knocked it
all over the same piece of carpet - Sarah had to laugh as she
came round and cleaned it again.!!!!!!!
My middle son, David, is up in Scotland fitting out a train
carriages, apparently they usually take the carriages to the
joinery firm in Northern Ireland - so this has raised a question
in my mind as to how they transport the train to the joinery
firm !?
So much easier flying to Scotland with the tools and doing it on
site - We did joke about him just getting use to the Irish, now
he has to deal with the Scottish !!
Just a few ramblings in the early hours of Tuesday morning -
should get some sleep x

Hi Rita,
Join the 'Getting Older Club'.
But you'll take a while before you catch up with me.
With great regularly I too knock drinks over whilst in bed.
I have low cabinets on both sides of my bed and have to take
great care to only place drinks on the side furthest away from
'electrics'.
Just imagine a cup of water all over electric plugs, or over
things like a laptop!!
