Blessing Rita , praying for all your ‘bits ‘ to behave
themselves as you work again..
Trusting that the time of ‘resting ‘ has worked wonders on your
body .

Greetings Rita, you must be thankfully nearly at the end of your
work day, I’m in neutral mode after coffee and toast, but like
the song says, ‘work to be done battles to be won’ hopefully you
had some blessing for being back with the geriatric crowd.
Prayer and painkillers seem to be the order of the day for a lot
of the saints, “the, they shall recover bit”, the recover
doesn’t seem have a time date stamped on it.
We are praying that as your stress level lowers so will the
health issues.
With age I’ve noticed my pain threshold is not what it used to
be, or Helen’s slaps are just
stronger😂🤣😂 just joking.
Don’t they say, necessity is the mother of invention’s, but if
my memory serves me which it often doesn’t, it would have to be
necessity that would move me from Woodingdean.
Anyway, ‘the time has come the walrus said’ for me to arise, my
daughters on hol’s so I’m garden watering, then “trash bins out,
trash bins in” then I do the hokey cokey and turn around and
it’s a mail delivery on her front step and off I go again.
I think they registered that over 1 million attended the
“Stampede” this year, only 80 days to hockey season’s opening
but how long before football starts at Brighton?
If we had a million dollars we would pop over and surprise you
at your new home, blessings Dave.

Thanks for the kind words, I did struggle about mid morning but
took two strong painkillers and the rest of the shift went okay
xx
No news on the house swap as there are a couple of more
viewings, so looks as if we won’t know anymore till next
week…..more waiting !!!
Dave, Woodingdean isn’t too bad in summer but in winter it use
to be a bit of a nightmare to get home with the bad winters we
use to get. We would often get snowed in while Brighton would
just have rain !!!!
Xxx

How frustrating….in this world which seems so much faster than
it used to be…some things are still “hurry and wait “.
We are praying for a wonderful and blessed conclusion of the
matter . x

Still waiting for news on the swap, another delay………….
Still dealing with my injured knee and pulled muscles, but as of
today I can refer myself for physio.
‘Still ‘ is a funny word isn’t it …kind of denotes a negative,or
a sigh. Yet to ‘ Be Still ‘ is a positive, it’s to wait, hold
on, quiet yourself, breathe.
Patience verses impatience’s ……………….think I am kind of in the
middle !! 😂😂

Sorry to hear the 'old' knee is 'still' a problem; here anything
Orthopedic is about a three year wait, my mate's is on a list
waiting for a replacement knee, at his age it might be a
heavenly one that comes first.
Funny how an "Im" can totally change a context, I always thought
I had no "Im" but my reactions now totally refute that; except
if it will work for my gain, in the case of Tim's coffee drive
through, I can on occasions display incredible patience 'after'
I have my coffee and donut in my sticky fingers.
Is Costa's still a drop in for you? now I don't have the 'old'
dog not as many Tim's visits.
Say Hi to Dan for us xx,

Yes Costa is still a drop in for me, but not as much as I need
to start at 8:00 most of the time. You keep mentioning those
donuts Dave, still haven’t had any cake or biscuits ( which is a
minor miracle for me ! )
The waiting lists for ops are long here as well, not sure about
physio though - guess I will find out 😂

Well that surprised me today ………..we have a house swap in place
( 7way swap ) Looks like I will be moving. Xxxxxxxxx
On Sunday I decided , as an act of faith, I would start packing
a few things and started sorting a few things out. I started
that months ago and then because of all the lets downs I
stopped.
It will get a bit complicated with all the new contracts that
have to be signed , but it will be worth it. I have mixed
emotions about it all, saying goodbye to Woodingdean will pull
at the heart strings. However I am excited to be right next door
to Sarah and no more big garden to worry about. I can truly
Potter in the garden next year.
Xx
