This is my 'hers' for today, it will probably become my theme
       song as I walk on.
I've never heard this rendition before but a thumbs by me,
whilst in Cyprus the band had an impromptu skiffle group and
they would rock the NAAFI with this.!!!!

^ I never heard that song before, Dave. Thanks. I hope you
       like the Carter Family.

When I see a sparrow or any little bird, I think of what Jesus
said of sparrows. It will soon be spring, so I'm hoping to see
       some birds when out gardening.
Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one
of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many
       sparrows.

A sad story Whitney Houston she left to soon unfortunately,
Kerry the Carters I think were a bit before my Christian journey
but I loved those guitars and their song.
At our old neighborhood there was a garden hedge that I passed
when walking the dog, on extremely cold days on a rough count
there was an assembly of about 20 to30 sparrows in the hedge
huddled together, they must have sensed we were no threat as
they just hopped back and forth, never did see one fall.
Ps 119 vs 98 was penned saying, “ Thou through thy commandments
hast ‘ made’ me wiser than my enemies: for they are ever with me
       ‘
So who is ‘wise’ in this day, when rights and privileges over
       rule obligations and responsibilities,
So who is ‘strong’ in this day, Prov 16vs 32 ‘ He that is slow
to anger is ‘better’ than the mighty, and he that ruleth his
spirit than he that take to a city’
Who is ‘rich ‘ in this day, Ps 128 vs 2 ‘ For thou shalt ‘eat’
the labour of thine hands: ‘happy’ shalt thou be, and it shall
       be ‘well’ with thee’
Ms Houston unfortunately was not able to conquer her own
inclinations, Probably most of us also struggle in that area.
But her music is still around.

       ^ Hi Dave,
The Carters were before my time too; but my grandparents had
some 78 records of them. I never heard them at their house; but
when my Grandmother died, one of my sister's inherited the
records and we listened to them.
I think birds can sense things, like you and the dog weren't a
threat. It may not be Eden, but it's a hint, I think, of how
peaceful it was in Eden before the animals started to fear
       humans.
Genesis 9:2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be
upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air,
upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of
the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
Did Jesus return fully to Eden? Is there a hint about that when
       we read he was buried in a garden?  That reminds me of a song;
and let me give the Gaither version of it.

Kerry any idea on who the singer was on that song, when we were
having house meetings in Legal,Alberta ,one of the Bro's sons
who was about 3 and a half sang that song as his dad picked out
the tune on his guitar. So it has great sentimental memories,
sadly his son went on to become a Texas lawyer and choose an
alternate life style to boot but sometimes a seed needs a great
       deal of time.
As to "Eden" second time around, a long pause for thought!!!
will we need it??, in a " New heaven and a New earth scenario"
       ????
