Password trouble with some companies.

You may want to change some of your passwords with Google,
Apple, Netflix and others since there was some kind of data
breach where it's thought hackers stole nearly 200,000,000
passwords. Better safe than sorry.

I just it it when that happens . Sigh!
I hate having to change my passwords,.
And I’m always afraid that something will go wrong and I’ll get
locked out! :'( .
Same here. First I said I didn't think I needed to
change mine; but when I got around to doing it, it was easier
than I thought. I have so much trouble remembering passwords,
I have a card file usually used for recipes but mine has cards
in alphabetical order for various sites.

I write mine in a little notebook, but an alphabetical file
sounds better and easier to find.

I used to write mine in an address book with removable pages and
I could keep the pages in order; but I wound up with some
pages with lots of crossed out items. Some pages for the
letters had very few entries too while others had too many for
one page. I gave up on the notebook although I still have it
for some addresses which I didn't put on cards.

Agree , me too, I have a small black note book . It has all our
numbers and passwords in it.
It seems more and more things are online now with no options .
But I still refuse online banking , I still go into the bank ,
not sure how longer they will let us.
Whenever I check for my Lab results I feel shaky . It soo hard
and convoluted , my daughter has shown me more than once how to
get where I need to be , but it makes me so nervous doing it.
I am not comfortable with even the easiest thing in technology.
But it’s here to stay! :'(
I do do online banking because it's easier to pay so
many bills that way. However I still want to have a bank where
I can go to cash checks (which is seldom) or to deposit cash. I
closed an account with one bank after it closed its local branch
office since I would have needed to go to the next town to do in
person banking. The comedy is that that bank still sends me
various offers in the mail. I just toss them. If they want to
waste their money, let them.
Banking sites are more secure than sites like Facebook or
Google. Once a bank knows what computer or cellphone you use,
they can trace the connection you make to see if it's the same.
If it's a new computer or cellphone, be ready to jump through
hoops again to convince them it's really you.
My credit cards are rather secure too. One of them sends me an
email every time I use it, telling me someone used the card. If
it was me, I do nothing; but if someone else used it, I'd know
right away.
My problem now is trying to figure out how cash transactions
will be done when all the pennies disappear here in the states.
My guess is stores will always round up, so if I owe a penny,
I'll have to pay a nickel.
My healthcare website is a nightmare. I think maniacs designed
it.
