I; ve been in bed and couldn't get off to sleep. I asked for a
song but it hasn't yet come so here I am at 1am.

Ouch , sorry . That is often Dave or my story …the other night I
last looked at the clock at 2.30 am! I guess I finally dropped
off shortly afterward . Hugs x

Pat I’ve tried the one ‘ and He shall give the old men dreams’
my premise being sleep has to come first in my mind before a
dream but————————, we will pray for sleep and a song for you in
the morning. 🎼🎼🎼 As we tuck down in
faith.

I have woken up with songs a few times, but this is a new
experience. I have sleepless nights from time to time - usually
about once a week. I often feel I should put those times to
better use than scrolling on my iPad or reading. I use to hate
it when it happened before I retired and knew I had a shift the
next day, it was like working a night shift my body would just
feel so out of sync.

Oldie but a goody .
A captain of a battle ship saw a strange light rapidly closing
in on him . He ordered his signalman to flash the message to the
other vessel saying - “Alter your course ten degrees south.”
Back flashed the reply -“ Alter your course ten degrees north “.
The captain snapped a second order - “ Alter your course
NOW”. - I am the captain!
The response was , you alter your course , I am seaman third
class Smith !
The captain was infuriated , flashing back- “Change course
immediately, I am a battleship.
The quick reply was - “ Alter your course NOW, I am a lighthouse
! “
The word is “ I Am The Lord , I change not! “ :)
