1st of June - summer according to the Met Office, but I still
think of the solstice as the start of summer. It's been a sunny
day - mostly - and I've enjoyed watching the birds on my bird
feeder. It's been lovely watching families of starlings,
sparrows, blue tits and gold finches bringing their young ones.
And I've been reading or doing crosswords most of the afternoon
and now I'm thinking about what to have for my tea.

Funnily enough , whenever I picture you , I always picture you
in your beautiful back garden. Can you still garden alright
theses days ? Sadly I can’t do the bending any more. I
remember that you had a very mature established garden , so
maybe it’s full enough to keep the weeds at bay.
It may be the first of June , but my feet and hands are
still cold. And mostly always are .

I'm breaking up and don't know where I am.
It all seemed to fall apart a few days ago.
I fell down in Norwich and couldn't get up until a strong man
pulled me up.
I got on the wrong bus trying to get home then fell asleep on
the bus and didn't know where I was.
By the time I did get home i was just about crawling and I've
been in bed ever since.
Missed two medical appointments because I thought I was still in
last week.
Took me an eternity to type this post and I had to back track
continuously to correct gobbledegook.
At one stage I fell asleep whilst typing and when I woke up my
screen was covered by endless zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I must have had my finger resting on the 'z' all the while I was
sleeping.
I ought to have just clicked on 'post' so that you could see it
all

Oh you poor thing, I hope you have somebody to take care of you
Mike. I don't even have the confidence to go out alone any
longer.
I heard somebody say that getting old is a privilege but it's
sometimes hard work. I had a weekend away in Beverley over the
early May bank holiday and fell down a step into the lounge of
the apartment as soon as I arrived.
I was a bit bruised and sore but I kept myself dosed up with
pain relief tablets so as not to spoil things for my daughter
and son in law and we had a lovely few days. Beverley has lots
of lovely pubs and we enjoyed some good pints of ale in a few of
them. It also has two ancient churches, St Mary's the parish
church and the Minster.

I’ve just this moment hit Send on an email to you . I guessed
that something had happened because you were so quiet these last
couple of days .
So very sorry that you have now confirmed it.
It’s happened before Mike , and after a while you get your sea
legs back under you … this too will pass .
We will be praying for it to pass quickly
🙏🙏🙏

Just thought I'd pop in and say a late good morning. The
weather's nice, sunny but not very warm. I'm starting a new
jigsaw puzzle and have just finished sorting the pieces. I've
done jigsaw most of my life but recently when I decided to start
doing them again I went online to look for one and am amazed by
all the accessories you can buy these days ranging from about
£10 into the hundreds - even a stand to hold the box lid so you
can see the picture easily. I modified a small adjustable table
so I could them sitting on my sofa. I think doing jigsaws must
be one our nations guilty secrets. Do any of you do them?

Whoops …silly me , I meant to hit quote , but I hit the modify
by mistake . Sorry .
I was still asleep or just waking up when you first came on…xx
[/quote]I did that once; and now I'm afraid of changing someone
else's post by accident. I'd rather not have the ability to do
that or the ability to remove posts. I'd be happy to let admins
have those abilities not me.
