What a rotten shame that Sheffield United, having held a one
goal lead for three quarters of the match, then capitulated to
lose 2:1.

Mike our hockey team was leading 2-1 and then they had a team
brain cramp and allowed 5 goals in 20 mins.
My favourite hockey interview was when a losing team changed
coaches and the new coach was asked on local TV what had to be
done for the team to win, and he stared straight into the camera
and said, a classic statement “score one more goal than your
opponent”
So moving under a football anointing I take it Sheffield have
sold the farm as it were 😢😳😢. Oh well
there is always the ‘full Monty’

Brighton win 4-1 to Tottenham - now if Chelsea win their
championship game on Wednesday night, we get to play in Europe
next year xx
My eldest went up to Wembley today to watch Leyton orient play
Charlton Athletic - the winner would go up to the premier league
- sadly Leyton didn’t win. Mark supports Brighton and Leyton
orient ( his father in laws team ) So he has had a mixed day
today x

What happened to Millwall? Helen's mate at work Ann got married
at Stepney and after we left the church her dad said to me, lets
slide off and go and watch Millwall I said what about the food,
he said we can get a "pint and a sarny" on the way, ( "" this
was before our Oh happy day moment) He said it's going to end up
in a big knock down drag out, I said why, he said two sides of
the manor North and South, as we were leaving I was asked which
side was I on. I think Millwall was playing Q P Rangers I
wonder who won!!!

Hi Dave
Millwall play in a different league to Brighton, they haven’t
managed to make it into the premier league since 2005. They have
reached that league twice before that year. They are still
around though and in the same league as Watford ( owned by Elton
John ) Leeds United, Coventry, Sheffield and Queen’s Park
rangers - the last time they played them it was a draw !
