That’s good about the battery change not being too difficult
xxxxxx
It’s funny how your memories mess up, for years I thought I
could remember the day Kennedy died , but looking at the date I
would have only been five years old. The memory I have is with
me and my cousin walking along the street on the day when the
news hit, so it must have been Robert Kennedy assassination in
1968
I guess we all have ‘ what if questions ‘about other leaders ,
if they had remained or got into power. Would we have gone in
the same direction as countries, or mere detours for a bit and I
wonder if things always pan out in the same way eventually.

Good luck on the other forums, You seem to stay in your corner
the rest of us use ‘happy postings’’ and both Rita and Mike put
up some good posts but brought no response from you Bro, hope
you find what you are looking for.

Be patient with John, he's only just working his way back in.
We have to be grateful for any small morsel of posting.
'Good News' doesn't sell newspapers....dare I suggest that we
need controversy?

Glad your medical stuff went well.

I hear you. This forum works differently than the one where I
have spent most of time recently. It took me a while to
understand what you're saying about "Happy Postings". I am
trying to always check in there first.

What can I say. I don't respond generally as I once did. Perhaps
that will change here...

And I find the reverse forum experience really difficult to
navigate and engage.
At my age I find any change to any thing very frustrating and
challenging.
I hate it when Google (for instance) keeps updating its format
for the ostentatious purpose of 'improvement' which invariably
means for their benefit rather than for mine.

If this forum had a sufficient influx of new members I would set
up a 'How to navigate' board, CB certainly needs one (or is it
already there but I don't know how to find it?).

CB is a big forum and I seldom go to ‘ forums ‘ but usually use
the ‘ new posts ‘ - not sure its ever had a help thread for
getting round it, but I can’t say I have ever looked !

Yes, I also do not deal with changes. They changed my hearing
aids last year and I still have trouble cleaning them a "new"
way. I will see the audiologist in September and have her
explain the whole process to me again.

I also use the 'new posts' to determine what I am going to even
skim on CB. I still have trouble at times.
