Hi Nancy …
I’ve been itching to know, did you ever find a place to buy or
are you still looking?
I’m guessing the lovely one that you showed me didn’t work out?
Or you’d have told us,.
We’re you greatly disappointed…so sorry
xx

No, it fell through, I was overbidded. As well as about 5
others I liked. Yes, I was disappointed even though I said "I
just won't get my hopes up" ::) ;D
Thanks for asking Helen.

Hello Rita
Good to see you here. We cannot go back but we can certainly
remember and move on from there. My time spent on forums,
especially those of James and Mike are some of my best memories.
Love to you and yours as well
John

Thanks Dave!
For a while I was trying to get discouraged, but my wife, family
and friends were holding on for me when it seemed like I was to
weak to continue. We do have a friend in Jesus.

John, I loved ‘trying to get discouraged’ I logged that up for
future reference, yes we do have a friend in a Jesus indeed,
but, we also have Jesus in family and friends.

Hi Pat,
Sure hope you can adapt to working round the changes that the
stair lift has created. Are you both still able to enjoy your
garden ?
Must admit as I get older the garden is the one thing that I
really can’t handle. That was a big decider in why I want to
downsize - I like pottering, but with pot plants.

Oh so it wasn’t Lyme disease but MS !!
My grand daughter, only 19, is being tested for MS, she had an
MRI yesterday. In many respects it would give us answers to so
many issues and problems she has, but on the other it’s not
something we really want it to be.
My knee and hamstring muscles do feel better for the rest but I
have to return to work on Friday. I can protect my knee with a
brace while I work and I already know that the meniscus does not
always heal naturally and can take 6-8weeks.
The hamstring I cannot protect,so I have no idea how it will be
with all the walking and cleaning for 8hours …………
I have used deep heat and ibuprofen gel ( higher strength ) both
these were recommended. I do have strong pain killers but will
only use them if needed as they are opioid based and you can
only take them for three days in a row. So I was using them for
my knee when I was working before I did the hamstring muscle.

We still enjoy sitting out but I can't do much in the way of
gardening these days. I can't get all the weeds out but I can
still do pruning. Our front garden is on three levels and only
the top level which we can see from the house gets any attention
and I have to pay somebody to cut my hedge. A couple of years
ago i paid a gardener to sort it out and he was supposed to come
regularly to maintain it but he didn't. The young man who
clipped my hedge offered to do it all for £120 but I said no
because the same thing would have happened. We just have to
accept our limitations and keep on keeping on.
