Greetings early riser in Brighton, funny, in my 217 post I asked
the same question and no replies were my answer, I suppose
'sites' are like static churches. one turns up when one likes.
I suppose the secret is to not expect anything thus avoiding any
expectation, gets a bit gutty I find, but one must impute
integrity but that gets old too,
How hard is it to acknowledge what someone posts, seemingly by
lack of response, quite difficult.
I like what Bill Johnson penned,
"The absence of thankfulness is SELF trust"
Maybe the absence on "United in Diversity" is premised on the
same principle.
Nice to hear from you Rita, I heard from Robins daughter about
the coach crash involving the school children, very sad, we
prayed for all the families involved, it seems these days the
prayer list is bulging at the seams, Dan's 30th our youngest
daughters 60th, our eldest came up so a good time was had by
all, I told my daughter if we celebrate her next 60th I'll be
146.
It's not often I'm awakened with a kiss but I was this morning,
we are dog sitting my daughters dog as they all hived off back
to my older daughters place in Liberty Lakes, so hot lips MoMa
jumped up and brought good tidings of great joy with a morning
awakening
greeting.
Animals seem to have a simplistic concept of relationships, why
has Christianity made the relationship with Jesus so complex, I
talked with a Bro the day before yesterday and he had just had
surgery for a lump on his back, and he had had no shortage of
prayer and while I was walking the dog it struck me, that in
Hebrews it's written, "BUT" we see Jesus" my "buts" are usually
why's? the question to me was in dark circumstances can I reply
with a 'But I see Jesus'
If the Lord Rita lays him on your heart, his name is Dan, you
won't forget that bit, thanks.
Well as the prophet wrote, 'the summer is ended and the harvest
is passed and---' we had our first frost this week, I exchanged
shorts for long johns and all the ladies breathed a sigh of
relief.
Well the time has come the walrus said, see you in the plan one
and all.

Good morning Dave - I will pray for Dan xxxxx
Yes I read about the coach crash, I think it came a day after a
14 year old was stabbed to death defending her friend from an ex
boyfriend on the way to school.
It’s seems each morning there is news of some accident or
tragedy. It’s a shame they don’t balance it up with some good
news, which I know is out there but for some reason the press
don’t think we want to hear that !
The weather over here is beginning to get seasonal now, but it’s
been a bit confused of late.
I have never had a dog, but did have Sarah’s dog over here for
the odd ‘ holiday from home ‘. I came to value the relationship,
but my bed is quite high and so I never woke up to a ‘ kiss ‘ .
Gizmo use to wake me up with a prod as he wanted feeding,
something cats seem to want a lot.
Poor Brighton got beat 6-1 yesterday, that will hit them hard as
they have been playing so well. Maybe it might benefit them in a
way as I think you can get too confident and arrogant if you
always do well, a little bit of failure seems to be good
sometimes.
Perhaps some Christian’s need a dose of failure, like those on
the other forum who are always judging and condemning others,
boy are they arrogant at times. Maybe we all are at times
because it’s easy to miss the attitude and it’s others that
notice it ………..
Have a blessed Sunday xx

Mike,Mike who's Mike, just joshing, hopefully like Humpty he's
all put back together again.
It seems that the early church set an example of the 'church'
that was ended by a one church under one order that quenched the
Holy Spirit and man took over the church leadership.
But like the song says "God's not dead, He is alive" but we
still have Christians biting and devouring each other, Paul
wrote to the New testament saints saying; "let the word of
Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and
admonishing one another (how) in Psalms. and hymns and spiritual
songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord"
To me a constant judging of others is a lack of the Word of
Christ dwelling in them, a bit like Cain with "Am I my brothers
keeper" who judged Abel enough to finally kill him and in
killing him also killed himself, although like the Adams death
was a long time coming, which raises a question as too Christian
relationships today in, are we our brothers keeper?
Cain's question is premised on the fact that his sin had found
him out, like the bro who counselled with Mr Clinton after the
"Monika" affair, he was judged as to why he would do such a
thing as to giving him counsel and his reply was, 'maybe you
just haven't got caught yet' and don't need me.
In the blame game one can say, 'where was Adam?' and do church
'fathers' have the responsibility of being 'my brothers keeper'?
Thanks for replying Rita after the devastation at
Goldstone!!!!!!! Our hockey starts in 19 days.

Oooh still counting down those days Dave. I thought the season
had already started as it seems ages ago that you started
counting down.
The Brighton match was an away game, Aston Villa. Apparently the
fans were still singing and supporting the team even after
5goals down !
My dad use to judge people all the time, but I kind of knew that
he was insecure inside and was pretty sure it made him feel
better thinking he had a kind of one up on others. I am not sure
how long I will stay on the other forum as the attitudes just
drive me nuts and as a mod I cannot put people on ignore. It’s
like being near the Westbro baptist church …………..what a horrible
church. In the US they are not alone as I watched a documentary
of those kind of churches. It’s just crazy.
We have definitely spoilt the witness through all the
denominations, man made rules and hypocrisy.
It took me years to see that………

There I was just chilling and I suddenly realised , as I
reflected on your post and my response, that I am equally
judging those who are judging others ……just as guilty !!!!

Oh whoops, a double whoops, not
Goldstone🤔🤔🤔 and an errant finger on
countdown hockey start, not 19 now only 8 it was 9 at the time
of writing 🤨👍🤨. They are playing
pre-season games at the moment letting some of the up and coming
youngsters get a feel of hockey in the fast lane.
Still praying for answers for your infirmities, a sort of odd
word ‘infirmity’s’ does anyone still use it?
There’s Paul a man of faith and power who writes, I left
Trophimus sick in Miletus, is this a case of lack on Paul’s part
or a lesson for Trophimus???
I was reading this morning as to why we read of only one person
mentioned as to being healed at the pool of Bethesda and the
writer brings up that we assume that Jesus didn’t heal any
others because there is no mention."..Never crossed my big grey
ones but as it says very often he healed all, but if a major
pool healing had taken place I would have thought it would have
caused no small stir, but as all the books could not contain
what Jesus did and they are the not recorded, interesting
thought for a Monday morn’.
My thoughts on judging are that really much of life is taken up
with judging, ‘can I make it across the road’ is applicable to
so much, do we cross the line when judging becomes judge-mental,
the mental bit may have a bigger role than one
thinks🤔😇🤔.
The world seems to delight in character assassination, as the
body of Christ that is not our calling, there is a time to speak
and a time to keep silent, not always an easy lesson. The phrase
‘they need straightening out’ infers something bent, which
reminds me of during the war, my dad would bring home wood with
nails in, he would pull them out and I would have to bang them
straight, some I would have to leave for my Father to do.
Selah.
10 bells, time to saddle up as the day is far spent and time to
go judge the fruit in the store😇😇😇 have
a great day all.

That’s a big jump with the hockey Dave, but a bonus when it is
nearer than you thought xx
Healing is conundrum, in many respects God has used my bad knee
and leg in many ways and perhaps it is part of a plan to release
me from work a bit earlier. My twin brother has offered me a
very generous safety net, offered to put 5,000 in my bank
account. If I need to leave work or hand my notice in, I will
have four months wages. It helps to know it’s an option should
it get beyond my capabilities to continue. Right now I dislike
everything that is happening within the housekeeping team.
I have often wondered why only one person was healed at the
pool, however the man had no means of moving. He couldn’t have
gone to Jesus, so Jesus went to him. Other around the pool could
move, they must have heard about jesus but chose to stay where
they were for a chance healing through the water. So maybe it
was to show that we have choices at times with regards to
sickness and infirmities. When we have little choice Jesus will
often step in.
Never really considered whether everyone was healed x
Interesting x

I think revival must have struck, two posts
😇👍😇, as the song said, “there’s a whole
lot of shaking going on” and the Lord hasn’t started His
yet!!!!!
I did like the vid’ of the young lady putting her seat belt on
in the plane, wearing a bright T shirt with, ‘Stop oil’ has the
world produced a lot of educated dummies?
Speaking of dummies, yesterday as I traversed the ‘hood with the
dog, a neighbour stopped and said that Guinness (also known as
wobbly pop) had been on sale and would I like a couple, as we
know from the advertising media “Guinness is good for you”, Paul
had his wine👍 so I stuffed one in each of my jacket
pockets and continued on my way and on nearing home, I pass by
some very large trees and their roots stick up through the grass
and the asphalt, I spotted across the boulevard someone I
thought I knew,(distracted walking) came into effect and I
tripped and my left side took the impact with the uneven
pavement, but that was a minor thing compared to the tragedy
that took place with the demon drink, the can in my left pocket
folded on impact and being under pressure filled my pocket, then
spilled all down the front of my jeans, funny how one reacts
under pressure from a prone position I swigged what little was
left, my Mum always said, ‘waste not, want not’ but the rest of
the way home was a deep intercession period that I would not
meet anyone.
No miraculous healing, and no angel to catch me, but no broken
bones either!!!! other
than a skinned knee, and a left hand abrasion, my right hand is
just getting over an abrasion by the apple tree that did not
want to give up it’s fruit, I was holding a branch with the hand
while reaching up for the big ones and it popped free and ripped
across the palm of my right hand, oh for some decent band aids.
I had to go to the Post office for stamps, and there I found
Elastoplast cloth bandaids, 40 in one pack, hopefully I’m not
going to use them all in the near future, it seems we’re going
to my grand-daughter’s for the Harvest Festivities, a bit
different than when we brought it to the church blessed it and
then distributed it to the less well off.
I caught a bit of Joel Osteen the other night, a very
encouraging line on the ‘blessing’ coming, I did say to Helen
why can’t it be now, not coming? That style of preaching is what
I call ‘the carrot on the stick’.
Oh whoops, is that in the ‘judging
category’🤔🤔🤔.
I suppose one can take a line out of Shakespeare “ To judge or
not to judge, that is the question?’
