Hi Nancy, greetings from Calgary, it sounds that the, “My God
shall supply all my needs”is work in progress with you, and I
was blessed reading Kevin’s writing, it’s a good job these old
tents are up for renewal at a future date, so blessings on you
all, nice to catch up after so long a time.

Hi Dave,
Yes, God has indeed provided. And PPMS is definitely a disease
to make one long for the promised "new, glorified body."

I know! It's great catching up. I do remember the kindness of
you and Helen (and Mike) in past years.

Well firstly I am so pleased to hear that Kevin and you are not
struggling on the farm by yourself anymore, that Kevin is in a
place that can best meet his needs. Also for the support you now
get xxxx
So how are you because the last time we had contact I am pretty
sure that you had been bitten by tics as well, did anything
progress with your own health because of those tics ? How have
you physically faired over the last few years.
So sorry to hear about your dad xxxxx

Dear Nancy,
What's all this stuff about there being three of you?
There are at least four.
I'm still in love with the 17 year old Nancy, who's photo I had
but now have lost.
But I'm the only one of us four harboring a strain of jealousy
now that I know about Adam.
Nuff said about that.
May God bless us all.

Nancy, how wonderful to be in touch again. I have often thought
about you and Kevin and wondered how you were getting on so it
is good to know that all is well with you.

Hi Rita,
First, yes. So good to be in
contact!

As for my own health, I did test positive for Lyme disease, but
my immune system seems to handle it, and I've never had the
symptoms or severity that some people suffer.
I did have a blood pressure crisis last winter that caused
medical bills high enough to put my blood pressure through the
ceiling, lol, but with the help of a couple different drugs, it
now seems to be under control. Since getting on the drugs,
though, it seems I have an energy crisis, but I've always
struggled somewhat with fatigue, and I just have to go easy and
pace myself. Naps are helpful, too, like in kindergarten. ::) I
find I can't lift heavy things I once could, and that's where
Adam's help is so appreciated. Anything I carry puts more
strain on my knees, which are quite worn out, I'm afraid. I
don't handle long distances so well, but, again, if I pace
myself and rest between tasks, I manage ok. I miss running and
hiking and such, but ... Kevin's plight keeps my self-pity in
check. Overall, I do pretty well for my age. There are quite a
few gals at Kevin's care home my age that have suffered strokes
that left them with serious problems, so I was fortunate to
catch my blood pressure in time.
And how are you? Did I see mention you're having problems with
a knee?

Lol, Mike! I'll hafta find a new photo of younger me to send
you. I'm keeping you a secret, cuz this new man of mine is so
very different than Kevin, and he has a few jealousy issues
stemming from events in his first marriage. I haven't managed
to get him fully trained yet. (He says the same about me,
haha.) Actually, we discovered along the way that we have quite
an age gap, and he's still trying to wrap his head around the
traditional roles of men and women. I serve him dinner in front
of the tv, and he wonders why I'm waiting on him. He won't
leave his laundry alone, keeps trying to wash the dishes ... We
finally agreed he's in charge outdoors and I'm in charge
indoors. Also, whatever is his is now mine and whatever is mine
is still mine. ;)
