Helen and here was I thinking you are my techno queen🤔,
my daughter brought round a cream sponge with layers of
strawberry filling in between the spongy bits thus ensuring I
maintain a high rate of calories and making sure all my craving
genes are kept mollified.
Entering the seventh month, We were just reading this morning of
the seven vials, seven trumpets, the seven angels and now the
seventh month, wish I knew what it all means, I can understand
the seventh month I think 🙃🤔🙃.
And sadly our morning and evening’s are definitely changing, and
my late planted garden is running out time to come to fruition,
plus the fowls of the air have taken a liking to my tomatoes and
seem to derive some sort of pleasure in poking holes in the
larger ones, they don’t seem the ones that are groaning and
travailing, they seem more into the making loud noises from the
trees opposite crowd.
Time to batten the hatches for today, whatever you put your hand
to tomorrow I pray it will prosper.

So that's why you kept giving 'half baked' advice to Pat about
how to find posts etc.
However I've also just learned a thing or two having changed to
a new laptop and (similar to you) found that my nav bar had
expanded with 'Home' being half out of sight.
Also the red 'news' caption was no longer spaced over four equal
length lines.
Eventually I found the cure tucked away in the choices of screen
resolution within my 'Control Panel'.
So now I reckon that members could each be seeing a different
forum layout depending on whether they are using smartphone or
Ipad devices, or laptops of different sizes and each with
different screen resolution settings.
I'll have to ask Nicky for a 'heads up' on that one.

Dah! Yes Mike, I feel a bit stupid now…how on earth could I go
all this time without a HOME page. ;D I honestly didn’t think
this forum lay out had one…until yesterday when it became
visible to me…..
That said, I’d rather live without it than go back to small font
again ( if that was the cause)
Who knows , maybe Pat didn’t have a home page either! (In view)

Nicky tells me that the fonts went small again as a result of me
'meddling'.
She made them large yet again ....what a patient and forbearing
darling she is.

Have the adverts always been there , or have they appeared over
the last 24hrs !!!!!!! ( I would be hopeless as a witness to
anything as my observation skills are hopeless

The Forum gives me 30 days free of adverts after which I have to
pay monthly to keep the site advert free.
We've used up our 30 days and I doubt that members would agree
to sharing the monthly cost of remaining advert free. :'(

I don't see adverts but I think it's something to do with my
browser settings.
