Thanks Helen, I'm easing up but will not be fully relaxed until
all members have given full consideration to their choice of
whether to have their corners merged or to post in both
'corners' and also in 'Rest awhile'.

I seem to be missing a lot of stuff because there is no option
(that I can find) to go to posts since last visit. I've just
come on now and masses of stuff seems to have happened since
last time. So I'm sorry for not replying to everybody.

Hi Mike
For the time being I would prefer to keep my own corner, just to
see how it goes here. I will join in on this thread but I
honestly don’t know if I can keep up with all the conversations
being together and ongoing, especially when I am working. I
struggle with family chats groups on what’s app because I end up
being way behind and have to try and catch up with conversations
that have been going on all day.
By the way , not sure why but the ‘ home ‘ is only showing from
the ‘me ‘ at the top of the screen now, so it makes it difficult
to press. I haven’t altered anything, so it must be to do with
the alterations that have been made !

Dave will definitely agree with Rita here …
He is likely to once in a while , write the things he is
thinking about or been blessed with while on his walk.
It will seem a bit strange is we are chatting in the Lounge
about the price of cheese , and suddenly Dave posts about some
spiritual thing that he is musing about , and plops it in the
middle of a chatter about the length of a piece of string…if you
know what I mean.…haha!
Rita is so busy these days …if she doesn’t have time , or is too
tired to read through all the posts …she can at least feel free
to plop a quick line in her own corner , be it a prayer request
or whatever …
If I myself get a ‘Jesus thought ‘ ….I’m more likely to plop it
into “Dave’s Corner” , than in the middle of a discussion on
cheese …if you know what I mean .

I know the feeling Pat , I was like that a day or more ago.
Now I just click on the very middle option ..right in the
middle of the blue bar , next to “Messages” ..it’s called =
“Todays Posts “ ….that takes us to and shows us all the lates
posts.
Then I just click on the Very Large =“ UNITED IN DIVERSITY…”
top left ….that will take us right back to the front page.
Easy once we get the hang of it…..but I too was frustrated a
couple of days ago..🤪

Good morning
Please don’t be discouraged that a few us might prefer our own
corners Mike, I actually don’t see a problem with both options
myself. Sometimes people want to just simply chit chat,
sometimes it’s a bit more in-depth. The aim of the forum still
remains the same and is still achieved.

Helen, all is well, Amadeus and Nancy Higgins have already
agreed to have their 'corners' merged.
To keep 'corners' for those who like it that way is fine with
me.
And if anyone ultimately wants their 'corner' reinstated I will
do that.

Rita is absolutely right in her summing up of her preference.
I have allowed myself to get 'carried away' in my enthusiasm
for 'Rest awhile' to become our vanguard board.
It will be best if any member has a 'corner' if they wish,
whilst still posting in 'Rest awhile' from time to time.
'Rest awhile' already stands at 109 posts after the merging,
which is sufficient for it to be regarded as the site's vanguard
board.
Let's leave it to any new member to ask for a 'corner' to be
added, and for any existing member to ask for their's to be
reinstated if they wish (as distinct from being demerged) for
future use.

Hi Mike …..Dave and I were talking , and thought that you could
even re-name “Dave Place” …and call it something else ….just a
place for posting ‘spiritual stuff ‘
so it had a different place then where we all want to chatter
and share our lives.
