International students wishing to enrol on a second cycle
(laurea magistrale) degree programme taught in Italian or
English at the University of Siena for the Academic year 2014/15
must submit their documents for the assessment of entry
qualifications.
The online application is available at
HTML http://enrolment.diism.unisi.it/
Students should contact the Italian Diplomatic Representatives
in their native country to start the pre-enrolment procedure as
soon as possible, even if they have not got the acceptance
letter yet.

Most of the Italalian consulars do not attend to applicants
without acceptance letters. I will therefore in my humble
opinion, suggest that acceptance letters should be given to
students as early as possible.

Please give me some information about ( I want to admit Masters
in medical biotechnology in full English medium from Bangladesh)
1. Admission procedure,
2. Is Tuition fee in masters in medical biotechnology for non
EU students like Bangladesh required ? if yes How much ?
3. When I will get food n accommodation in your university
4. Is it possible to enroll in Ph.D after masters ?
5. What is the admission deadline for masters in medical
biotechnology for non EU students ?
6. Is it possible to get scholarship in masters, medical
biotechnology for me.

Thank you for your suggestion. We send tthe letter as soon as we
receive the response from the academic committee.

=> For admission procedure please visit our enrollment site

and fill in your details with
the required documents as we mentioned.
=> The tuition fee for the course Medical Biotechnology varies
from 2000 to 2200 euros and it is based on your family income.
If you win the DSU's scholarship no need to pay the tuition fee.
=> If you win DSU's scholarship you will get aood,
accommodation, tuition fee and some money for your hand needs.
=> It is possible to enroll in to the Phd program after
completing your masters. It depends on your acedamic performance
and your profile.
=> For Non - EU students the deadline for applying to the
masters is on 30 June 2014, eventually you have to do the pre
enrollment procedure by 30 June 2014. So, you have to get the
acceptance letter before that.
=> Yes, it is possible to get the shcolarship. But, you have to
apply to the scholarship online and send your family financial
documents to DSU office with the duly filled online application
form before the deadline.

I just got accepted for M.Sc. Computer and Automation
Engineering. I would love to ask the following questions
1. What is the highest payable tuition fee of this program?
2. What percentage of international students are able to secure
the DSU toscana scholarship?
3. When can we apply for the DSU toscana scholarship? It would
be nice if you could provide me with the link to the online
application for the DSU scholarship?
4. Am I still going to be required to write an examination at
the Italian consulate in my current country of residence?
5. Is it true that there are only 50 places allocated to foreign
students?

=> We attached a file with this post regarding the tuition fee.
Please calculate your tuition fee based on your course, family
income.

=> 90% of students get DSU scholarship every year.
3. When can we apply for the DSU toscana scholarship? It would
be nice if you could provide me with the link to the online
application for the DSU scholarship?
=> Usually the DSU Scholarship's notification will announce in
the last weeks of July and lasts till mid September. When DSU
release the notification, you are able to find the application
form link directly in dsu's website: www.dsu.toscana.it
4. Am I still going to be required to write an examination at
the Italian consulate in my current country of residence?
=> That exam will be managed by your embassy or consulate
general of your country. We are not aware of your countries
strategy.
5. Is it true that there are only 50 places allocated to foreign

=>We don't aware of those posts. we are working on this and we
will get back to you as soon as possible.

As i have read on the forum page, i understand that the
scholarship result will be announced on October 15/2014.
But the class starts on October 1/2014, enrollment before
October 1/2014 and the visa process before that.
so,
my question is:
1. How can i process my Visa if there is no any scholarship
result announcement before?
2. without getting scholarship or without any guarantee for
daily bread @university of Siena,
how can i start the class before scholarship?????????????

Dear Tad,
we already responded to your question before. And we think, it
is not necessary to show the result of Scholarship to file your
visa.
To start your classes it is not necessary to the result of your
scholarship. So, you can come to Siena and you can attend the
classes from 1st October 2014. Mean while if you are in the
university recommended accommodation, you have to pay a
monthly/daily based rental. Or you can search for any other low
cost accommodation. For more information please read the other
post's in this forum you can find more information regarding
different types of accommodations that you can find in Siena.

Dear Sirs,
I have been selected by my University of origin (National
University of Distance Education - Spain) with a grant for the
first semester from the Erasmus+ programme to take part in a
Master in Siena.
I hold a degree in Law (5-year degree). I´m trying to fill out
the application form for 2nd cycle degree programmes, more
specifically, to enroll in the "Scienze internazionali
Programme" (held in English).
I have a couple of doubts regarding the application checklist:
- I would like to confirm if the European Supplement to the
Degree is valid as "Transcript of exams and grades achieved" or,
on the contrary, I need a sworn translation in English.
- Furthermore, I will take the IELTS exam to certificate my
proficiency in English next month, but I won´t have my language
qualification till August the first. Is there any problem? Could
I send it later?
I would be very grateful if you could help me. I have written
several emails to official addresses and get no response.
