Erasmus for 1 semester in Siena

Hi,
I'm an undergraduate student in the University of Limerick
(Ireland). I'm going on an Erasmus in September 2016 and I'm
interested in studying at the University of Siena. However, I
don't speak any Italian and I was wondering it is necessary for
me to learn some basic Italian before I go there or will my
classes be in English only?
I study history at the moment in UL so any courses relating to
history (intenational relations, European studies) that are
taught through English would be ideal for me. I'm just looking
for information on whether studying here is suitable for me, an
undergraduate student who studies history with psychology and
speaks no Italian.
Thanks for the help,
Lynda
