       Hi guys, got a old u1000 on 20 inch rims, they look lost on the
       old gal. Wanted to put 24 inch rims on? There flat rims so would
       I need spacers and would they even fit? Thanks in advance

       Can you show us a picture of the rims you intend to use, are you
       concerned that they wouldn't have enough offset to clear? what
       are the rims off & are the tyres suitable for whatever you are
       doing with the u1000.

       If you fit 24” tyres you will add mote unstrung weight look at
       fitting larger tyres before changing rims a nice size is 425/70R
       20
