Well as I'm sure people know, I've turned to another form of
merc power after selling the mogs. I've learnt a lot about them
already and there's even more questions in need to find the
answer to! Anyways, here's a few trac pics for you, hope you
enjoy

little 2000 on it :o

:D I never managed that rig with the mog! Nothing fitted it
right with the black mog!

Yeah 120 hp is a bit excessive for a 6 inch chipper 😂
road tow chippers of the same size are running about 35 hp! Not
sure the little Ford would man it, plus it doesn't have a
1000pto on her

So does the chipper actually run at 1000 rpm or do you run it on
a 1000 shaft with lower engine revs for economy 540.

The cheaper chines chippers seem run at 540rpm but the better
branded ones run at 1000rpm (that one in the pic does both but
works a lot better at 1000rpm)

So was that the reason for trading in the mogs then that the MB
Track can run a more powerful chipper ?
Do you travel out to jobs with it or does it say on site?
Looks to be in great nick, the previous owner has obviously
looked after it well.

There were a few things that made me change but yes, the trac
has a stronger gearbox and can cope better with a bigger chipper
hanging of the back and hauling gig traikers. The other big thing
was I could get any standard agricultural implement or trailer
and it would fit. She will be going out on jobs. I'm just trying
to re equip my self for the trac.
Yes she's in realy good condition for her age. I'm in contact
with a previous owner who was the driver/owner and looked after
her well. He has fond memories of her.
