OHHHHHHHHH! Nope!
one of my co-workers had a 1 on 1 with our boss today and she
was told that the 11 people who got through to a second
interview had showed interest in that position through their
annual Individual Development Plan(s) - which I did not. So
basically a piece of paper on a digital trail was more important
to them than actually being able to do the job.
My 1 on 1 is tomorrow, and should be FABULOUS!

I'm less of a ball of rage than I was... I am more in a "make
them feel bad with facts" mode... about the only things that
are going to keep me here are a massive raise (unlikely) or that
other job being too much of a pay cut. I am going to schedule
an interview as soon as I find out about any annual salary
adjustments

that sounds SO great in theory... but I have to be incredibly
mindful of our bottom line. itty bitty is 2.25 years away from
college, and I want to make sure we are solvent enough to send
her to a good school
