I didn't have the patience for a "why" conversation... the next
words out of my mouth would have gotten me fired. there goes

no... I had actually spent the last couple of days trying to
figure out how to justify staying here. they opened up 15 other
postings for a lower-tier version of what they just turned me
down for starting half in may, and half in july that I was
trying to put my ego aside for, while pursuing some continuing
ed independently that would make me more of an asset to myself,
and therefor the company by extension... but that was assuming
I would get SOMETHING this year to make up for the other insult.
now I don't know

there really isn't a lot that shakes me, but feeling like I have
just let the people who I love down really makes me feel bad
